  1. Hi Calvin, I wanted to write a ticket, but the problem didn't appear... Until today. So here is what I found: DCS and qv and eye tracking worked flawless, until I started another game without eye tracking (IL2). Both started via the games tab in Pimax Play/ Device. After IL2 I wanted to play DCS again and no quad views. Checking back in Pimax Play if eye tracking was working... It was. So I selected again DCS in Pimax Play / Games, disabled quad views, hit apply, enabled quad views and hit apply again. Starting DCS all was working again! So somehow qv seems to not switch on again, if I played a title without qv. Maybe something in the section of a game gets overwritten. Would be great if you could forward this to Pimax Devs. I am happy to assist, if more information is needed. Best Martin
  2. @Calvin.Pimax... i've heard nothing. It is so annoying to recalibrate every single time I use DCS. It often makes me not playing because ai am tired of restarting the game, deleting the folders and recalibrate again. I am happy to provide log files or whatever is necessary! My Super is on the way and I hope this does not continue. It is an absolute no go! Best!
  3. @Calvin.Pimax thank you! I had three days without any issues and today it happened again. I have not found any systematic behind this.
  4. Thanks Calvin, Just let me know what they need.
  5. @Calvin.Pimax, I still have this issue. From time to time and after every DCS update I have to delete Pimax folder in AppData and recalibrate eye tracking. Than it works again flawlessly. Any Idea? I don't want to switch back to PimaxXR, Quad Views Foveated 1.1.3 and Quad Views Companion. Best Martin
  6. Yeah! I did that already. Still the same. Whenever DCS gets an update, I have to delete Pimax Play folder in Appdata and recalibrate eye tracking. Then it is fine again until the next update of DCS... strange!
  7. Thanks! I know! I just ask for an mod manager integration onto the new DCS launcher. So that I do NAT have to have a separate mod manager to manage the files.
  8. Hello, I really like the new launcher! It is excellent to manage all the stuff outside of the game in a nice looking GUI. Is it possible to integrate a native mod manager? I just want to start using some user made campaigns and skins and it is so much cool stuff out there, why not managing all from one source?
  9. If you want, you can directly download Pimax Play 1.33 and just install the latest version. It is not as detailed as wthe Quad Views Companion. You can just select Performance, Balanced or Quality.
  10. You have basically two major options. With Pimax Play lower then 1.33 (or 1.32 beta) you need four separate programmes: OpenXR toolkit PimaxXR Quad Views Foveated 1.1.3 Quad Views Companion With the latest Pimax Play you need none of these. And can disabled or delete all four. In Pimax Play set to use Pimax OpenXR as runtime. This replaces the separate PimaxXR programme. For Quad Views you need to set Quad Views also in Pimax Play (in game settings). This replaces Quad Views Foveated 1.1.3. OpenXR toolkit is not compatible anymore with this combination and I am not sure of the companion app. So currently I am not running any of the extra tools. All directly from Pimax Play. If I understand it correctly the OpenXR runtime in Pimax Play can still cause some problems. If you experience this you could switch back to the external PimaxXR as runtime. Or like I did, deleted the Pimax Play folder. Best!
  11. Sorry to hear! For me it fixed it. What about PimaxXR?
  12. You could also try the PimaxXR application instead of Pimax OpenXR until the Devs from Pimax figure what causes the issue.
  13. That's strange. I just close Pimax Play. It stays in the task bar when I just close it. Close it in the task bar (bottom right corner of win) then I can delete Pimax Play folder with no issues.
  14. Maybe this... Quad Views (Pimax version) stops working after a while
  15. No need to be scared. Since I own my Crystal I had some trouble, but always help from Pimax or the community. And do be honest I am more then happy, that Pimax integrates more and more features in Pimax Play! I saw a thread where they mention to use the PimaxXR app until Pimax figures what is wrong with their Pimax OpenXR runtime. All in all the best headset I can imagine right now. Not flawless, but if I am into DCS, IL-2 or Star Wars Squadrons the visuals blow me away.
  16. I will do! But you have to wait till next weekend. I am away from my rig. Thanks for your help Calvin!
  17. I am using an OG Crystal with a 4090 and 7800x3d. Until Pimax Play 1.33 I was using OpenXR toolkit PimaxXR Quad Views Foveated 1.1.3 Quad Views Companion to get Quad Views running in DCS. Never had a Problem. With Pimax Play 1.33 I switched to native Pimax OpenXR and the native Quad Views in Pimax Play. Of course I uninstalled all four programs above. It used to work well, but when I fired up DCS the nextr day I went from 90 FPS to 35 FPS and the performance graph shows GPU and CPU sikes all over! Before it was a smooth line with the latest DCS update. I tried a lot of things with BIGNEWY on the DCS side, but nothing works. I am not using tacview and OpenXR-API-Layers shows no other APIs or failures. The only solution is... delete the PIMAX folder in user/appdata/local re-start PC and recalibrate eye-tracking. Although eye tracking was working perfectly and showed no error, this brings back 90FPS and a smooth GPU/CPU graph. One time during a long session (maybe two hours in DCS) it stoped working during play. It was as if the high resolution area could not keep up with my eyes and was kind of laggy... in the multiple seconds range. Could someone from Pimax please assist? This is definetly not a smooth experience! Several re-installs of Pimax Play and prior deletion of all Pimax leftovers did not have success. After a whole it stopps working and I have to delete the folder in appdata again. PS: I did already exclude all Pimax and DCS folder from microsoft defender and I am not using any other anto virus tools. Attached are screenshots with 90FPS and alost in the 30FPS range with crazy CPU/GPU spikes... bad quality, but you see my point.
  18. Did this already. It was running flawless with just Pimax Play and it's native QV application. I am not using QV 1.1.3 the QV companion, PimaxXR or OXRTK! Just one day later it did not work anymore. Figured it must have been a Win 11 23H2 update. I deleted the Pimax folder in user/appdata/local and the metashaders2 folder in DCS saved games and it was running again!
  19. Hi! I did. No warning in DCS and QV enabled in Pimax play. Restarted the headset, re-calibrated eye tracking, but no success!
  20. Hi! Since the patch Quad Views is not working for me. Running Crystal OG with just Pimax Play OpenXR and Quad Views. It worked fine after the big update (as soon as somebody told me, to enable QV in the DCS settings ;)). Since the patch it doesn't work any more.
  21. Thanks! That did the trick! T updates at the same time... didn't expect QV to be switched off in DCS
  22. Hi, maybe I missed a point, but I don't get the Pimax Quad Views to work in DCS. I was using the Quad Views Companion, OpenXR Toolkit, PimaxXR and Quad Views Foveated 1.1.3. All was good. Then I uninstalled all these and just used Pimax OpenXR and Foveated Rendering in Pimax Play... Not working. I installed Quad Views Foveated 1.1.3 again, not working. I did several new installs of Pimax Play 1.33 and always calibrated the eye tracking, but there is no QV in DCS. Any idea, what I am doing wrong or what I could try? I am a bit lost...
  23. Same for me. Almost half the FPS compared to Apache in Pimax Crystal.
  24. For me it was running fine now. I also excluded the saved games folder in windows defender and deleted metashaders and fxo files.
