Capable of flight despite not having been purchased

I noticed a couple of minor issues - I am on Steam and I have "not" purchased the C-130J yet. Minor Issues i noticed see attached pictures. 1 - C-130J icon is not on my menu of installable modules. 2 - C-130J is selectable in Mission Editor as a Player Aircraft but i have not purchased it. 3 - If selected as player aircraft Module error displays. C-130J Sets up in M.E. and operates as an Ai Aircraft no problem.

Hold on tight I thought that too - I might be wrong it seams like a bot might be setting up fake user accounts. Just looks like something is wrong ! If it is then the Ai bot can start asking fake credible questions using all of those fake accounts who would know if its real or not. Also the bot could answer users questions with fake destructive advice . The bot could also reply to its own questions using its thousands of accounts and totally jam up the forum to create a denial of service !

I have attached the VPC fix file you could not download It contains the 2 renamed files. Might be worth trying these if you have any more problems as they may be slightly different. I use the lights around my DCS Train Depots they work great ! have fun VPC fix for 2.7 (by Shlee).zip

Hi you could give this a try if you like i found it on the forum a while back when i had the same problem. ---- Easy fix for VPC not working (I'm assuming you're getting a fake omni light error). Navigate to: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\shaders\model use your installed path to find \Bazar\shaders\model Duplicate both: fake_omni_lights2.fx and fake_spot_lights2.fx Rename the duplicates: fake_omni_lights.fx and fake_spot_lights.fx respectively.

Some long standing bugs do get fixed usually unanounced and without fanfair just a line in the changelog. I have created lots of DCS Train Mods and the wheels and valve gear bug not animating was fixed a while back thankyou However It is frustrating that the Train Deactivation bug that has Trains floating off over the city or out to sea still remains a feature of DCS. I just try to wait patiently for the fix so i can get my trains back on track one day in the UserFiles. ED seams to like users to behave in a way that shows tolerance of delays, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious ! A big worry is " Cfrag a Very Clever Major Contributer to DCS " and creator of the fantastic DML that has not been updated for over 4 months the dml thread suggests DCS core bugs became too much to put up with .

Its not rocket science like creating DCS Trains Its very easy - I have now converted and attached that rtf file as a plain txt file. Its not needed it just shows you how to add more Aircraft to the entry.lua file ------------------------------------------------------------------- If you do not have the folder \Saved Games\DCS\Mods\aircraft\Carrier Based Aircraft\ then create it and just copy the entry.lua file to it. Then in the Mission Editor Select your WW2 Aircraft you wish to land or take off on a Carrier Use "takeoff from runway" So have you got it working ok now ? make ai aircraft carrier capable.txt entry.lua

They can be made to shoot but not as a wagon on a DCS Rail Route - Actually all DCS models are as you say only beauty piece of 3D. Just do as i did with the German Krupp K5 Railwaygun. -

Why are the 3 WW2 Addon German Flak Wagons still hidden after 7 years from users who paid for them ? Flak 18 + Flak 30 + Flak 38 They are all are great models and even have animated Guns and German Gun Operators. For several years Trains cannot even be Deactivated anymore as they leave the tracks and float around - Reported but is this ever going to be fixed. Using Ai Trains is a VERY BAD user experience while this problem still exists. This does not showcase the fantastic map updates very well as you can see as the German Class 86 floats off underground on the Normandy winter update. Please can ED Fix This Problem. Here is a work around if you dont want to Die waiting to use your Flak Wagons - Anyone who wants to use them in Train formations its here uploaded by "titi69" in the user files section. Destroy Unit ( Train Deactivation Not Working )

Hi It would be a great help if one of you clever scripting people could take a look at this problem. The problem is reported however one of you smart coders may have a solution. It would be a huge help if i could Deactivate Trains. Road Vehicles Deactivate but Trains do not Deactivate. At present Deactivation just makes the Trains float off over the City and out over Ocean forever ! I need to deactivate Trains when they reach their destination. E.G. At London Terminus Stations. Also trains will be able to use the loops at stations and the train deactivated and an identicle train activated to continue the journey. At present I have to use an advanced waypoint action - hold. The Trains stack up on top of each other on Arrival and use up valuble computer resources. Have a look at my post above and can anyone tweek the very simple mission - Unit Destroy not working on Trains.miz to see if you can make it work please ? Thankyou Waterman- 1 reply

Yes thanks i understand now It does work very well thanks i will use this method from now on. Just a quick Note A search for trains works if theres a space before trains site:www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/ trains but does not work if theres no space. site:www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/trains So dont forget the space
