  1. Now in VR my FPS are not so bad since I have lowered the textures, but even with 70-90 fps, I regularly have huge frametime, some regular peaks that destroy the fluidity (and fps during a fraction of second). I wonder if my pc is bottlenecked by the graphics card and its 10gb of vram only (rtx3080) or by the i7 12700 kf processor? Would switching to an rtx 3090 with 24gb of ram improve the fluidity of VR? On some hard server like enigma, my fps can be downed to 20 fps (cpu bound?). In the FPS window, I am nearly always CPU bound, even alone on a single mission with no units, that is strange. In the task manager, my cpu never exceed 45%, and my GPU is often 75-80 % with all VRAM used, but sometimes it is only 40% with huge frametime. I tried in 2D in a small dcs windows (small resolution) just to see what happen. In the f18 free flight mission (no unit on the ground), I have in this case 300 fps (max fo dcs) and very little frametime, but stiil CPU bound Yellow, sometimes quickly GPU bound green. If I use 2D and 3440*1440 resolution, I have max 230 fps and green GPU bound Same thing but with the F4 Free flight mission caucasus (there is a lot of units in this quick mission), with a small resolution I am totally CPU bound RED, max 130 FPS, and some times huge frametime. If I use 2D and 3440*1440 resolution, I have exactly the same performance, 130 fps. It would say this is really a cpu bound and not GPU ??
  3. I have no missile alarme warning with Sa10, is it normal ? Is it because F4E is previous than this SAM ? Only Sa2, Sa3, Sa6 seem to give an alarm warning for missile launch
  4. Hello, I am not able to log into my youtube account on the virtual browser, there is a connection problem, is someone able to do that ? I have already activate all the data permission on the special option of the Phantom, I dont know if there is another thing to do ?
  5. D'accord merci.
  6. I tried back on my 2D screen 3440x1440p (to see the difference between VR), and I can say that it is quiet normal, about 120 fps constant with the same quick mission F4 free flight caucasus, sometimes a quick 90 fps during 3 seconds on near the grounds and it comes back directly to 120. Always CPU bound in red on this mission, but with the F18 free flight I switch between GPU bound green or cpu bound yellow with 210 fps. It seems to be especially a VR problem with my reverg G2, maybe open xr ?
  7. Yes it is right, but this was for me a good test because each time I have my shuterring et fps lost problem, whereas with other quick mission like F18, this is really random
  8. Ok maybe, I tried to overclocke a little my cpu yesterday night, but as I expected, even if benchmark are better, always the freeze at 20 fps with the quick mission of the F4 on caucasus.
  9. I have just tried your specified CPU affinity, with 8-17 cores, but again no difference in my test, always shuttering et low fps
  10. OK thanks, my shadows are already flat, mirrors don't have a lot of effect on my fps. This afternoon, I tried the free flight mission on caucasus with F18, one time it is totally smooth with 50-60 fps non stop. If I restart the mission, the next time can be the same, or be a disaster with FPS between 10 and 25. There is no reason of these huge differences on the same mission, I can't understand. The fact that my utilisation of GPU (3080) go from 60% to 100% when I have the fps issue is not for you a sign that it is a GPU problem (and not a CPU ?) Roger that for the 8-17 cores, so you disable the 0-7 p cores ? Why do you do that ? It is interesting PS : Just a stupid question : when you play my trk file, you are able to see exactly how many FPS I had on my computer ? Or is it your computer's performance ? Thanks for your support
  11. Thanks for answer. I have already tried to disable tacview. The phantom is not the problem, I have the problem with all modules. I attach you an other try of log and trk, it is a very short flight (quick mission F4 free flight caucasus. The performances are very very bad. Do you think that is a CPU problem, and not a GPU one ? With the CTRL - PAUSE windows, I see CPU bound with my FPS, I dont know if it matters ? Can you tell me more about the 2 ecore allowed ? I see you use the same CPU as me. I always see that e core are the problems. Which ones do you allow ? dcs.log test perf caucasus.trk
  12. Here is a direct track of my headset, you can see the FPS on the open xr overlay (sorry for the quality, but you will undurstand what I see). I tried to bloc my fps at a maximum of 60, that is why it never go higher than 60 even when looking the sky. Interesting thing : if I look in the task manager the utilisation of my GPU, my 3080 runs at about 65% when looking the sky, and 100% when I look the ground
  13. No there is nothing special in the area, only the ground
