  1. I'm fairly confident the issue I am having is simply a doubling up of both the "receiver" and transmitting radio effect being used at the same time giving sort of an ugly clipping sound. Which is why when I turn off the "receiver" in a custom radio it returns to sounding like the normal radio sound. I'm going to assume that in multiplayer it probably sounds normal but I haven't had a chance to try it yet. .
  2. When testing the microphone my voice sounds reasonable and normal but as soon as I try to test a sound filter in the radio options the audio gain seems to spike and it also clips a ton. If I create a custom radio it still performs this way BUT If I uncheck "Receiver Filter Parameters" then my voice sounds normal with the radio effect applied. Is anyone else experiencing this or Is this unique to me? I haven't played with it in multiplayer just yet and I'm worried I'm going to be blasting people with the same audio I get when I'm testing it with the radio effects applied.
  3. This has been reported, see the post below. That being said I also have this issue using the Varjo Aero and get around it by using Tacca's NVG Mod.
  4. I second this, the engine howl is VERY distinct and can be heard from super far away, same with the nozzle actuators.
  5. The noise is ONLY present with ECS on. It's simply just a spooling type sound reminiscent of an engine start. Just hop into an F-15E that has been ramp started, turn the Radar OFF, and mess with the Bleed Air for ECS. 3-5 seconds, 16-18 sec, 26-29 sec, and as soon as I shut off the bleeds the noise is no longer present. I turned the Radar OFF as well, but otherwise this is a normal ramp start F-15E. My hearing is good according to my yearly audiograms and I have some good headphones, but I can't be the only one hearing it. Maybe I'm just sensitive to the higher pitch in the noise. I just can't unhear it now. I always notice it and I've been flying it for a while. ECS Sound Bite Loop.mp4
  6. I am also experiencing this issue. With foveated rendering the night vision circle is rendered where my eyesight is. There is a square that follows your eye tracking around normally that is hard to see but the night vision ring is EXTREMELY obvious in that regard. Would love for this to get fixed as the Night Vision is broken for foveated rendering users atm.
  7. This noise has been bothering me since release and I thought I was crazy since I hadn't seen it mentioned yet. I know people are complaining about the realistically loud ECS noise which in my opinion isn't a big issue, but that ECS loop is for me since I do spend a lot of time listening to it. Most of the sounds are pretty good, but that ECS looping sound for me really gets me. It might just be my headset since I wear a good true headset when flying. That being said the module has been great so far. I AM glad to see others noticing this sound now. It's like a tiny "engine start" sound every 5 seconds in the ECS white noise. What @Njinsa said is the easiest way to notice it, particularly with headphones on. Without them, I actually can't hear the looping audio too well.
