I own the old Simped vario/C pedals connected to HOTAS Cougar (game port connector). Now that I have Warthog and my intention is to keep Simpeds for other 9 years! I know that I have to keep Cougar connected but I found this device in a store: http://www.plaisio.gr/Gaming/Accessories/PC-Compatible/CMS-Converter-Usb-Game-Port.htm No joy, but I remember that you must have switches on Simpeds cable at these settings: 1 ON 2 OFF 3 ON 4 OFF to work connected to Cougar. Anyone knows the values of switches to work in an old game port?

I beleive I have to apologize because I reply before reading the post you point (opened in another tab to read later ), I have never had the change to use X52Pro, fly as formation leader and finaly I saw your videos!:worthy: But, I still beleive, because of my experience, that Warthog is great for the majority of virtual pilots and a good reason to put my Cougar on the shelf!

I promise I will go all through the post to point. But IMAO being a formation leader is a very special and I think rare situation for the majority of virtual pilots.

I have use last 10 years these joysticks: Guillemot Force-Feedback MS Sidewider MS Sidewider Force Feedback 2 Top Gun Afterburner II Thrustmaster HOTAS Top Gun II (Force FB) Logitech Force 3D Pro Logitech G 940 Thrustmaster T16000M I tested Warthog for a week, lets say around 25-30 flying hours and I use HOTAS Cougar Uber NxtII exclusively since 2002. None of the above is bad imao. But I think this one is the best. My opinion,take it or leave! Also, still imao is a matter of taste. For instace I don't like force feed back even if many people can't fly without. What HOTAS you will suggest?
