  1. Good suggestion, switch to MSAA no change. I think I will. I understand it may be even better then even IRL. But as DCS goes it was not like this a few weeks ago.
  2. Thank! I have only used them on the 16. I was primarily wondering why it changed and if it was intended. Or if there is a new setting I am missing. If it was meant to be that way I can live with that. DCS videos I see out there show a much clearer picture. Mine use to look this way but suddenly changed in the last month.
  3. Thanks, I am thinking it is getting ignored because the label of the original thread say "correct as is". That was from 3 years ago and it seems to be popping up again. Might have to start a new one.
  4. Guess no one else is seeing this. Any suggestions regarding my settings? It was not this way a month ago. The resolution marked was from 3 years ago, many updates since then and I am running in 1024 mode for camera displays. I can go to any Utube video and see much better clarity. All before the last patch. Can I revert back?
  5. Forgot to mention it seems a per usual with the AGM65H.
  6. This issue just recently popped up for me also. I have had this AGM65D mission I created several years ago to brush up before a mission since I don't get to fly everyday. I don't have any SS's from previous but I did run this practice mission earlier this month as well as others and all was as usual. Yesterday I pulled a mission up and right away noticed the blurry AGM camera, more so than usual. So I pulled up my practice mission and same thing. Checked all my settings which had not been changed. Did a full repair, no change. I do not have any mods at all. Frame rates are all still good as you can see from these attached screen shots, just a more blurry camera now. I see there was some tweaks to the AGM65 in the last update and I had not used them since before then.
  7. Still happens to me when flying instant action action AA for example with hotas sinc on. Most things seem to sinc up but when I hit fly the AP goes into altitude + steer point mode and you can watch the switches in the cockpit change. Not a big deal to me I hast have a habit to switch them on then back off immediately. This is in an f-16 and I have the winwing hotas. When I create my own missions it does not occur. Like said not big deal once I figured out what it was and wondering like the OP why the jet was acting odd.
  8. It may be that the auto pilot is on. Usually on the missions that came with the AFG map and the f-16 I have noticed the AP is on and set to steer-point navigation. When I make my own it does not.
  9. Lately either I am just really unlucky or a bug. No matter what I get hit with, pilot is dead and can't eject. The aircraft can still look undamaged but dead pilot. My AI counter parts however seem to always be able to eject even if I hit them with multiple missiles. Anyone else seeing this?
  10. I have seen lately that the AI wing-man calls bingo fuel so I send them RTB and they end up ejecting out of fuel before they get there.
  11. Further testing so far it seems to be primarily in the new Afghanistan, in the air to air instant mission, my wing man just flies around until he gets shot down regardless of any easy comm routine I use. I can get it to work in Persian Gulf. Have not tested Caucasus yet. I'll see about saving a track.
  12. Yes I am, have checked it over an over. The game has presets for attack my target ETC they do not work any longer. if I use the full menu such as \ flight \ engage\ bogies no AI does anything but follow me around. This is for simple coms not meant to be setting coms.
  13. Wing man or flight do not respond to any off my commands such as engage bogies etc. ATC does not answer me either.
  14. I am getting similar in my F-16. Had to turn off helmet comms and just go by the text. it will go off sometimes for a bit but as soon as another communication comes through it starts again.
  15. I guess I don't understand MT thing. Never had steam only the standard install and getting the blue maps after last update. If I go through DCS_updater the maps return but my Tobi head tracker does not activate. If I go direct to the DCS.exe my head tracker activates but then I don't have the maps. I did a full repair scan and it came out fine. UPDATE I figured it out. head tracker was pointing to the DCS.exe file in the bin folder so I had to redirect it to bin-mt folder and copy the headtracker.dll file in the bin folder over to the bin-mt folder as well. Now all seems to work. Everything has always worked fine until this last update.
  16. Hello, I have been working on creating missions and so far so good. However as my missions have become longer and more complex I find that I want to test areas of it down the timeline like 30 minutes or more. I have searched around and in the manual but can quite seem to find an answer. Is there a way to advance the mission clock and then jump in at a certain point so that I can test that spot instead of having to go through all the start up etc and 30 mins of the mission? I know how to speed up the time with ctrl z but would like to be able to just advance to a certain point and jump in to test.
  17. Thanks, I figured that might be the case. Thought maybe there might be an assigned hanger or something that opened when you pulled up or able to request a ground crew option to open hanger xx.
  18. Hi All been flying awhile but one thing I can't seem to figure out is if there is a way to open hanger doors to park after landing. My AI members all pull up and hangers open for them. I have looked all over in manuals and here etc but can't seem to figure this one out. I may be missing something easy but for some reason it evades me. I fly multiple jets mostly training and practice missions that I created to get all the systems down. Mostly Caucuses but do have NV and PG also. Thanks
