  1. Reload worked. I was able to go in and create a mission and edit it. Still haven't flown it but was able to do what I wanted.
  2. Tried that it didn't work. I uninstalled DCS and am reinstalling. I hope that this fixes it.
  3. Did cleanup and repair, mission editor still not working. Tried to fly the mission and didn't even put me in the aircraft. Watched some videos on how to create missions and the mission editor works nothing like the videos.
  4. Trying to create a training mission in NTTR and I can create aircraft, ground units and fixed ground units. I try to add waypoints for the flight and the mission editor just puts them anywhere. Once waypoints are there, I cannot edit them or move them. I can only remove them. Some help please.
  5. I have been flying the F-16 primarily, but I am pretty sure that the weapons have a single model that are used on all aircraft that have that capability. I noticed that the GBU-38 have M904 fuse in the nose of the bomb. This is not correct to the use of the JDAM series of bombs. I have loaded most all of the versions of the JDAM in the GBU-38 and GBU-31 family. These bombs use electric fuzes and always have a nose cap on the bomb. I have attached pictures for reference. The GBU-54 which is a 500lb Mk-82 bomb that has both GPS and Laser guidance is a bit different as it has a seeker on the nose of the bomb.
  6. I agree that there needs to be more campaigns for the F-16. I has been a workhorse for the USAF and many countries worldwide. Still a lot of folks are flying the jet within DCS. I am new to the DCS community so I have no skills to create a campaign.
  7. I don't know if it is just me or the I'm doing something wrong. The guide says that for takeoff and landing you should put the targeting pod in standby to stow the pod to prevent damage. Well I never see the pod in a stowed configuration. The seeker head unit should be turned 180 degrees so that the glass is facing the back of the pod. I never see this. During rearm and refuel and changing the configuration of the aircraft and installing a pod you always see the seeker head with the glass. Any chance that this can get fixed?
  8. I have never been able to get the map to display with F10. Not sure what is going on or if there is no map available for the missions I fly as a new flyer.
  9. I there any work being done to add the AN/AAQ-33 Advanced SNIPER Pod? Having been in the USAF for more years than I want to count, I know that for most USAF units that use targeting pods the SNIPER is the preferred pod. F-15E, F-16 and B-1 use the SNIPER over the LITENING. LITENING is primary for A-10 and B-52.

  11. Problem with Training Mission 10: Beyond Visual Range RADAR Modes Really like the training missions that you have built. Trying to progress through them so I can enjoy the DCS platform. I have made it through until mission 10, BVR RADAR Modes. I have run into a problem and cannot go forward in the mission because the control requirements in the training do not work. When I get into the mission, I get to the point where I am supposed to change the RADAR scan to a narrow scan (Right Control + -) and the keystrokes do nothing. Training mission requires that I complete this to move on and there is no control for this. I checked the control page and looked for Narrow Scan Azimuth and Wide Scan Azimuth and there is nothing in the listing of all the Mode and Sensor control items. There are several other commands that are called out on the briefing page that do not correlate to the commands within the control listing. I have added the listing from the Sensors on the controls page. Anything that I have as On HOTAS has been programmed to my X-56. Anything that is blank in the combo column is not programmed to anything. Any help you can give would be great. Running current version of DCS.
