  1. And yet somehow it's lost on you why people are showing their discontent all over the forum.
  2. Yes we are going in circles because you're not addressing the issue raised by Thamiel. What recourse to EA participants have when the terms change AFTER they have purchased? An answer to that would provide resolution. Also clearly EA is not a "really simple process" as evidenced by the litany of questions/issues people have with EA, what it means specifically and it's associated timelines. It may be simple in your mind sure, but obviously a significant portion of the community does not share that view. And before you say it people buying into EA means it's all good, it is no indication that people actually understand what they're getting, again evidence by the litany of discussion on the matter.
  3. Updating information is a necessary evil no doubt, but to say "make purchases based on the available information", change said information, then say to people "you made a purchase based on our (old) information so be that on your head" doesn't address the issue being raised by Thamiel. His issue isn't that the information was changed, his issue is that you are blaming him for not being aware of information that was not available at the time of his purchase. Hence the term gaslighting.
  4. You've completely ignored the fact he clearly stated that the information was changed AFTER he purchased. Which one would reasonably label as gaslighting.
  5. Trust me bro, we're not desperate for cash, you gotta believe me bro, we just like releasing things bro, bro please buy our hyped up product that "certainly won't take 5 years" to finish bro, please bro we just need your passion and support but it's not about the cash bro. Eagle Dynamics, 2024. Honestly it's just pathetic at this stage ED. You deserve every bit of criticism and more.
  6. That's great but completely side steps the "certainly not 5 years" issue and the total loss of faith the community has in ED.
  7. In b4 COVID19, war in Ukraine, unexpected delays or whatever overused tired excuse ED can come up with to justify why there is still no dynamic campaign. "Certainly not 5 years" lol, lmao even.
  8. I'm not talking about people who are perpetually upset, like you said there's no point engaging with people like that. I'm making a distinction between people being upset by a near constant vacuum of information and people being upset by information being provided.
  9. Big difference between the two. Worry and frustration caused by a vacuum of information is completely different from worry and frustration based on what information you do provide.
  10. Nice semantics, a release date is a release date. Deadline or target date, call it what you will. *ED has deposited $0.02 into your account.
  11. Yeah how dare he compare not meeting a deadline to not meeting a deadline. Completely invalid comparison. *Matt Wagner has deposited $0.02 into your account
  12. There would be less complaining if they managed to stick to the date they picked. And there'd certainly be less complaining if these delays were rare and isolated not the rule as they have become.
  13. Spot on. Take a look in the mirror and upper cut yourselves ED.
  14. Yeah they are a joke, it's not like they've had the F4 for months and months for testing. How they can screw up this bad EVERY single time they commit to a date is unbelievable. Imagine sticking to a release date(impossible).
  15. Honestly ED couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat.
  16. This question. Don't freak out on me again Hammer 1-1, it's ok to be wrong.
  17. You still didn't answer his question.
  18. "I'm not freaking out" Hammer 1-1. Proceeds to immediately freak out with a huge post full of hyperbole.
  19. Just the inevitable Hammer 1-1 freak out because people disagree with him. A simple update from the Devs would put most of this to bed but it's obviously very hard to write a forum post.
  20. It's not your ship to steer either my dude, only one of us is trying to stop the other from voicing their opinion and that's you my guy.
  21. If you think that customers opinions don't matter because no money has changed hands then you are just a belligerent and ignorant person. All the reasonable arguments levelled pre release against M3 or any other dev for that matter have centered around increasing trust through more transparent, honest and frequent communication. Nothing more and certainly not difficult. Sounds like you are perturbed that people disagree with you.
  22. If you honestly don't think the Corsair development isn't a commercial undertaking, whether it's done by enthusiasts or professionals, part time or full time is irrespective. It's obviously being made for them to sell. The sooner you figure that out the happier we'll all be. Stop being belligerent and disingenuous.
  23. Completely disingenuous to suggest that they aren't trying to sell a Corsair module.
  24. To be perfectly clear, I'm not demanding that they hurry up and release the module (despite my feelings that 8 years is an enormous amount of time). The almost complete lack of communication and community engagement plus a contemptuous "you'll get what you get, when we give it to you and that's the end of discussion" attitude isn't acceptable, particularly when from the people trying to sell a product. It's an easy fix, it needs not be more complicated than that. It also does M3 no favours to be so quiet, it leads to rumours and innuendo and it's hard to blame people for calling this project Vaporware, when the devs themselves are barely visible, some what akin to vapour.
