JF-17 Thunder not displaying HUD screen after startup
Ladan replied to Ladan's topic in Bugs and Problems
@Mike_Romeo hi. I use Win + Home keys. -
Ugh, Monday yet again! Lol aw well. On the bright side, I thought to share this screen shot with y'all. I am at about 25 degree angle here, and have tried to balance that! I carried on for probably a good couple of minutes. At one point I could even go completely vertical. Thanks to the video I saw and shared, I had these switches on : - FLT TEST - a silver switch next to two orange (or whatever colors they are lol) switches. Not sure how this helps with achieving the cobra maneuver though...

Oh wow, that's great. Aw, well hopefully it'll come around again soon
-
Thanks! Can't wait to try it out. Booked tonight, as I have my favorite TV shows, but looking forward to getting back on it Sunday. Hope you're having a great weekend.

Hey heyyy! Look what I found Am I on the right track now? I'm watching this, and it has me mind blown!
-
Now THAT's a new vocab for me LOL. I will do that, thanks
-
This is the only video I can find, but not sure if it really is the maneuver Haha, I just shared that same video, so I guess not.
-
Well I've seen videos of it on YouTube, so yeah I think
-
Yeah I get that. Glad you're doing much better. I'm having a hard time doing the cobra maneuver with it. Seems it's not as flexible as the F-18 or Su-33. Maybe it's me...

Ok I'm lost. I am doing exactly what I always do, sure. It is autostart that I do. I don't know how to cold start this thing yet. -

I'm not in any training mission, I just do either single or multiplayer sessions. -

So I checked to see if I had that option ticked on. It wasn't. Now what? -

Will disabling this cause any problem for my HOTAS throttle? -
You can see my AOA angle at the bottom of this pic. I'm not sure what angle I should've been in for this maneuver. It was fun working with it.
-
You can also view the helmet using the mirrors around the plane, just click on them, and they will flip open. Though it gives a partial view of your helmet. If you have a TrackIR or VR, you can lean one side, and look in the mirror to see it fully.

How are you doing with it so far? Just thought to check in.

Ok thanks, I'll check that when I'm on it tonight. -
Am I the only one? Is this a known bug?
-
Follow the line to the circle that shows up on your DDI screen. I found it very helpful in guiding me back to the airport, and to other airports.
-
Surely it must be a bug. I haven't missed anything. Also, the switch in the middle of the panel, what is this? It shows as (+\-).... er, something like that. I wonder if that relates?
-
I'm not in the training mission. I use multiplayer and sometimes single. I start it up using Win Key + Home
-
@MAXsenna right on bro. Right on. Er, I forgot to mention a problem I'm having. When I start up the JF-17, all loads up fine, except the screens on the panel, and the HUD display. Am I missing something? Is this a bug?
-
The canopy is tricky, as I sometimes forget to seal it. I've had a couple flights, and in two of them, the canopy popped off without me knowing. I must have forgotten to seal it. Unless it's a bug, which I doubt. Everything is perfect with this plane, otherwise.
