Thank you for the detailed explanation. Due to the fact that ive didnt had any problem with the fov of the G2 so i think the 57PPD version sould be the best option. It has more fov and the clarity advantage so this seems to be the best compromise.

Thank you for the clarification. Hm, so now maybe one last question because i see 3 different options on the Super. 50PPD, 57PPD and Ultrawide. So Ultrawide is basically clear that this thing has wider fov but to be honest dont really know which one is then the best to choose? As far as i know the G2 has something around 88 fov. Is then the 140 fov not too much and has the fisheye effect? And the the other both versions 50PPD and 57PPD dont really know what this means in reality. Is there a price difference in the three versions coz the Pimax hompage shows me (in the EU) a actual price of 1588 Euro. So which one is the version to choose from? Its confusing. I play lot of DCS and Simracing. Maybe from time to time Alyx and Pavlov.

Hi all I am in the situation like many G2 users and in the next time i need to change the VR of obvious reasons (thanks dumb MS). Quest is no option for me and as far i see here in the thread the Pimax Crystal Light seem to be a good upgrade. But one thing i dont understand.... Aapje mentioned something about "You'll gain eye tracking, but you'll have a much less comfortable headset, and have to deal with charging the battery a lot." What does this mean? Crystal Light is a PCVR so its powered via a cable right? Can someone explain please? Crystal Super is i think too much or too demandable due to the bigger resolution? Would say my system is quite good but is the Crystal Super really worth it? Does it work good with DCS? I am not sure about the differences about Crystal Super (Ultrawide?) and Crystal Light beside the resolution topic. And the Pimax devices run on its own software, right?

Me as a not really jet pilot (started DCS with helos) got a while ago the Mig21 and F14 (both top modules). Then few weeks ago ive jumped into the Mig29 and now its one of my best jets so far To fly it with the "dumb" armament is just a blast and somehow i love it. Cant wait for the FF version

This setting was used today and befoere with default was fine. Dont know if there is a coincidence or this setting not the right one....

Hi I flown today the Huey and ive had a strange situation. Ive trimmed the heli after start and at one moment where ive reset the trim ive lost all my control over the heli and crashed. 2-3 weeks ago ive changed the trim option in special settings and never had suhc situation. I need to check it tomorrow coz i think it may something to do with the trim setting in special options. Will write here tomorrow which setting ive had before and now.

Dont want to start an extra thread... is it possible in the 29 to change bomb drop quantity or is only possible to drop per pylon?

I am new to Mig29 and is there a possibility to get a english cockpit? The both mods in user files do not work. Talked with an user which used the mod but seems like after a update this mods are useless.

As an Hamburger ive checked it first and basically i cant complain. Its a DCS map and the detail level is completly fine. The only thing what i am missing is the famous Kühlbrandbrücke but to be fair i guess the most of the future missions will be placed in other areas so for me its not a must have. Both airports are ok and other poi´s are visible so i am fine with that. Also checked the area around Brocken and this looks cool. Central Germany has lot of potential for interesting missions so we will see soon what the community creates. I like the map so far and didnt found attm any big bugs or visual desasters. Looks like Ugra learnt their lessons well. Good job!

As for me a Cobra or Mi28 would be the best choice. It has to fit the acutal available helicopters in DCS. Dont really understand those proposal of "flying motorhome"..... what would you do with that in DCS? Transport helos do not make lot of sense of missing logistic possibilities. When proper logistics would be available so a CH53 would be then interesting. Blackhawk would be also great. Attm i would prefer to have the Mi28 to be a counterpart for the AH64D

This AI behavior is also present on AI helicopters. A Mi-28 flown in my direction so ive tried to shoot it down. Beside the fact that the Mi-28 got 5 (!!!) Vikhr hits he was still able to perform unhuman climbing rate where my Ka50-III was not able to compete.

Ive understand that there are maybe more important things to fix (for example those big texture bugs "saturn rings") but i would be fine when it takes max one week to fix such gamebreaking wiper bug. No, instead we need to wait weeks or more. This is not ok.

Flown the Huey and Ka50 and BOTH have not functioning wipers. I saw nothing and at some point its not playable. This post and in the other thread are now nearly one month old and stil no fix in sight. Its an important point so would be nice if there would be "more preassure" behind the fix procedure.....

I am quite new in a F14 and so far i can hadle it in mp sessions but i am not sure if after the update something changed..... My bind for dropping flares seems sometimes not to work and before the update it was fine. And i have also a strange thing now that when i drop gbu12 so they are realeased pairwise.... do i need to change something now before dropping? I am not sure about this both things because i fly the F14 for more than 3 months and this problems were not present. So i assume something changed after this update?

I was in the airfield area and after destroying that truck i just flown around in max 1-2km radius. Didnt left the airfield area. Then ive turned toward this area and saw that bug. But as you can see in my video at some position/angle this bug is not visible (bottom view of texture?)

Yes Flappie, thank you for your help too. This is important and good because this is sometimes really bad and this bug covers big areas. This disturbing the gameplay massively. In my case i have everything up to date. No mods, only few skins. All tracks were deleted yesterday. Unfortunately i cant help with track files coz they are approx 60-350mb. Depending how long i am flying... But i dont know if they are really helpful because when i rewatch them so this bug is not visible.
