  1. I can't find any information on the SAM site in NB80 either
  2. After today's update, the symbols for SAM and Radar block the location. How can I hide them? I can no longer place units in this position!
  3. Hello ED and CH, I think the Italo/French SAMP/T NG SAM system is a good addition to the existing long range SAM systems we have in DCS and with regard to the new European maps like Kola and Germany also a nice alternative in mission building. I would be very happy if this wish came true! pictures from: www.italiandefencetechnologies.com null null

  4. Do you know which unit the HAWK position in Giessen operated? And what kind of radar was at Semmelberg?
  5. Yes, I agree 100%. The AN-12 is actually indispensable for the new maps CW Germany, Afghanistan and Kola...
  6. Due to the new germany cold war map and also for other cold war scenarios, the SA-4 Ganef (2K11 Krug) SAM system would now be really useful for DCS.nullnull pictures from: https://wzu.pl/en/ofert/2k11-krug-sa-4-anti-aircraft-missile-system
  7. They have modelled the Radar Station on the Wasserkuppe...unfortunately 2,5 nm away from the correct position!nullnull
  8. I know this brewery pub very well.... But i missed their Beer on the Hessentag last year....
  9. A major topic during the Cold War in Germany were the road air strips, which were to be used as alternative airports in the event of war. These road air strips existed in both east and west. Unfortunately, these motorway sections cannot be used in the CW Germany map. The motorways are too narrow, blocked by lighting and trees and some are not level. The car parks that were used as service areas for the aircraft are also missing. I know that it is impossible to integrate all road air strips, but 5-6 per coalition would be very nice https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notlandeplatz_auf_Straße nullnull Picture 1 and 2 show the same place (A29 - 52°54'44.0"N 8°09'58.0"E) in reality and in DCS (picture from defence-network.com) Picture 3: A44 Bueren Geseke - 51°35'50.0"N 8°33'06.0"Enull Picture 4: A9 Dessau-Süd und Zörbig - 51°40'35.0"N 12°12'23.0"E

  10. I'm impressed that you noticed that. When I'm in Frizlar, I'm glad to find the cinema and McDonalds. I wouldn't have noticed that the cathedral is in the wrong place in 100 years...
  11. East of Giessen 50°35'45.1"N 8°43'26.0"E was the central Army depot centre of the American armed forces in Europe, with a special ammunition depot (nuclear artilly shells) and a MGM-52 Lance (tactical ballistic missile)site in the north of the depot.....not a nuclear powerplant like in the map. This is the reason why there is a Patriot site near bynullnull. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giessen_Army_Depot https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/US-Depot_Gießen
  12. Hello! The Port of Peenemuende and the coast around this port is not usable due to insufficient depth. In reality, a corvette Molniya is moored there (see photo). The harbour is also currently in use and is navigable. Perhaps the static ship there should also be removed from the harbour so that it can be used for missions. nullnullnull
  13. nullBut they were in my post on the second page. Essah has addet our search results to his list, so we've all one overview.
