Pilots! I am stuck with crashing DCS in VR. No other game crashes in VR only DCS. Windows 10, RTX 4080, 32GB Ram, 11700K, G2 Reverb All drivers are up to date, no mods installed. I tried to clean DCS, slow repair DCS, even a full new installation.... No luck! Temperatures are also not the problem. Scince I have no clue where to find hints in the log, I kindly request that somebody have a look into my logs. I attached 2 to verify that it is alsways the same problem. Pilots! I was wondering if it is possible to change the size of the radar returns. For my tasting system targets etc, are too big. It is hard to see the vector of contacts and therefore it is harder to maintain a better SA Any mods or something else?? Greetings

Hallo! As an active military pilot I can say that the SOP differ from airforce to airforce. In general the anti collision light will be on to alert everybody that the engine are already running or shortly before doing so. The landing light will be definitely on for landing since the landing light is a signal for tower that the landing gear is down and locked. In most jet the landing light will only illuminate if the gear is down and locked. At night a landing/taxi light is a good idea to have it turned on. Greetings

Can I throw the Rx 7900 xtx into the mix? It has lots of VRAM… so what are the opinions?

Unfortunately I am not located in the US. Here in Germany the price is around 1450€ that is 1566 US $ . If I would import it from the US that would be 1250 plus 30% of tax and administration fee. Additionally it will be kind of difficult regarding warranty if it breaks...

Pilots, I am looking for a squadron which is in need for a F16 flyer. I am located in Germany and have a good amount of time in the evenings Monday-Wednesday. My background includes a career as a military aviator on fast jets. I am still flying as an active pilot as an Aggressor. Hotas and VR is available. My experience with DCS is mainly PVE. The squadron should respect real life first and should not to strict (I lived that for the most time off my live)… Horrido Blutpumpe

Gents, I am currently not at my machine but will try it out with different bindings. I general it was not to be meant as a bug, just a question about the functionality, since it is not covered i. the manual or in chucks guide. So, the DMS function should work normal if I'm am selecting he MSL override? Greetings

Pilots! one short question…. Every time when I select the the MSL override I can’t use the DMS switch/function anymore. Back to center,NAV position to cancel the MSL override it works again. Is this as intended or a bug. Thanks Blood

Still confused… I need to hold TMS to slew the radar to the HMCS. Ok. Is it slewed only for the time I hold TMS?What happens when I release it without a lock? Will it be synced back to the radar boreline indicated in the HUD? Thanks for any further info…

Pilots! I am facing a real strange thing... During the sorties of the Red Flag campaign all the comms are on russian (I believe). Even tower, my flight, Awacs, all on russian. Only the scripted parts from Wags are on English. The options menu is on English. Any thoughts on that? I'm flying in VR with Viacom Pro, but I don't have these issues on other sorties... Blutpumpe

AHHH, the manual says that use: select xxx decimal xx. So it is a 3 digit number behind the dezimal? Isnt the command select? Just curious since you stated tune. Does it have something to do with easy radio? I love this community....

Pilots! I am having an issue with tuning radio freqs with VAICOM PRO. VAICOM doesnt recognized the number behind the dezimal. I can tune for example 127.00 but not 127.55. I see the freq is recognized but there is no line in VA that says select 127.55 with the purple dot in front. It is the F16 module. Any thoughts? Blutpumpe

Dear Pilots! I am running a G2 V2 with a 3070 and i7 11700 with 32GB, M2 NVME. Since there start of the 4090 I see a lot of used 3090 for sale on ebay etc. Would such an upgrade be reasonable regarding FPS boost? 4090 are out of reach for me with those insane pricetags.. Any thoughts on this? Anyone who did this kind of upgrade and be willing to share his experience? Are there big differences between brands like ASUS vs MSI vs etc...? Any specfic brand and or model that I should look out for or avoid? F3 Hostile DIRTY

Pilots! I just got a Reverb G2 from my wife to get into VR… A general question that came up in my mind is as follows: I am planing to use Openbeta and standalone from DCS to avoid Steam VR. I heard that steam VR can be a bottleneck. Can I play in VR with the workaround with OpenXR and opencomposite to avoid Steam VR? Horrido

Hallo! I dont know the reason for this video! All I see is a F16 turning and burning... It takes way to long to get AI into the vicinity of the nose. And I am not sure, but in the end you are not even close to a contolled WEZ position. Limiting the F16 to a lesser AoA and G available is totally stupid and you doesnt even kill the AI... Flying level turns without using vertical is not a skill. It is quite the opposite. Flying DCS without G effects, well... We all know that the FM was improved. If the intend was just to demonstrate the enegry maintining 5 G turn level, than it is okay. Showing how to use the new FM to kill somebody than it is a fail. No BFM skills observed... Horrido

So I think I will go with the G2. Do I need to be aware of different versions? I just found out the the cable needs to be the M6 in order to avoid connection problems. Anything else? BTW: great community!!! Horrido
