Oh that’s weird, definitely not in mine. I’ve not had any update emails or notifications either. Has there been an update since release that I’ve missed somehow? Just seen the update thread. I’ll give that a try when I get home. UPDATE: I installed the update through the DCS updater and the dark mode option is there now. Might be worth sending out an email about updates in future to customers so they don't miss it.

Thanks for the reply Zabuzard. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a 'HB UI Theme: Dark' option in the Special menu. Just a UI Resolution Override and UI Offset. Another thing I've thought of whilst looking at it, is the size of the manual onscreen. It would be great if we could choose a percentage scale so it doesn't block a quarter of the cockpit. Also, maybe a Left/Centre/Right option for positioning too. Yes, I saw the abbreviations menu, which is great, but there's no summaries and no links to the relevant page for a further explanation and context. It interrupts the learning flow quite a bit. But regardless, it's an outstanding plane and a great module! I also bought the F-14 off the back of it and I'm equally blown away. I also have to learn that as well at some point! All the best, Tim

Hi HB, I'm new to DCS (and military aviation in general) and the F-4 is my first purchase, so there's a lot of learning I need to do. Basically, a lot of the acronyms are unfamiliar to me and I think tooltips in the manual, with a small summary over all acronyms, (or maybe a link to the relevant page as well) would speed up the learning process. It will save having to go out of the page and hunt down the meaning. Also a dark mode would be a great option for the inflight manual. Hopefully you guys will consider it! All the best, Tim

Started off with a Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas stick from eBay in March and realised within a month that I was all in. I upgraded to the Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle and Stick – great stick, but too much stiction, so that was returned and I'm currently on the Winwing Orion 2 HOTAS, with Thrustmaster rudders. I may have to upgrade the rudders as they're entry level and not very smooth. Got a feeling this hobby is going to end up costing me a lot!

Hi Everyone, I'm about a month into DCS and snagged the F-4E during the prelaunch. I was so impressed by Heatblur's work that I'm thinking of buying the F-14 and a terrain and maybe the Super Carrier during the sale. My question is; which terrain would give me the biggest bang for my buck for both the F-4 and F-15? I'm torn between Sinai or the Persian Gulf, but maybe the full Afghanistan map I have on preorder will keep me busy for both? Also, I'm not too sure how the Super Carrier works. Is it only relevant for multiplayer? Does it come with missions, or do you have to buy those separately? I've also noticed that the third party Carrier campaigns mainly have the FA-18 as a requirement. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Tim

First off, I absolutely love this plane, it's phenomenal piece of work from your team. A small thing though. What about an option to hide the seatbelts sitting on the seat? They look great, but it feels a bit weird flying about with them just sitting there. I'd also love an option with just legs visible, as the arms get in the way and I sometimes sink behind the pilot model and can't see.

Hi all, Is there any way to change the cockpit cursor shape? I frequently lose sight of where it is when I'm multitasking. I'd really love to be able to change it to a small filled bright green/yellow circle so it pops off the screen a bit and I can see it immediately.

First flight and I accidentally popped the canopy, turned the engines off and blacked out But wow, immensely impressed with the job Heatblur have done.

I'm new to DCS and this was my first aircraft purchase. Another day isn't too big a deal, no? Is it always like this around here?
