reported RWR display/symbols not moving with dashboard shake

Thank you! Appreciate you! -
So I really can't say which map or server, because this is happening in every one that I've seen so far. Join a server and just watch people's landings with F2. Doesn't matter the aircraft type either. They come in for a normal landing and will bounce around, go through the map, fly up at a crazy rate or even spin sideways. It has gotten worse with the new update. Here are some screenshots as examples. They are doing normal landings and nothing out of the ordinary - once their wheels touch the ground they stay on the ground but shows their jet in the air. It's like a desync or something.

Fuel selector and magneto positions of the actual position, flaps on an axis, ability to use the mouse scroll wheel on gauges (i.e. altimeter) and trim (rather than just clicking and dragging), starter cover toggle, guns inboard on/off, guns outboard on/off, guns center on/off, RH release toggle, LH release toggle, pylon release toggle, guns charge toggle would be super helpful also. The only light switch I've gotten to work on a binding are the cockpit lights. None of the following bindings work -> pitot heat switch, exterior light switch, wing, tail, formation, section, approach, and recognition lights. They are bound to a button box, but don't move or operate at all and still have to be clicked with the mouse. Wonder if you guys could swap the right and left mouse button clicks so they matches all the other modules. In other modules left click turns switches off/down and right click turns switches on/up and but in this module it's opposite. Thanks guys have a great day and keep kicking ass!

RWR display/symbols not moving with dashboard shake

I noticed this as well. -
I noticed this too. The instrument light doesn't turn back on if you dim it too far down it seems. Makes for flying at night super tough with the flashlight only... unless I'm doing it wrong...
-
I noticed this too. In forward flight you can completely ignore the "rudder" pedals entirely. If you want to yaw you have to roll the A/C then pull back on the stick (cyclic)... yaw doesn't really work in forward flight.

Release in 2026 but barely any info 6 months before 2026?
Pribs86 replied to LimePartician's topic in DCS: F-35A
"What version of the F-35? We will first release the F-35A. We may later also offer the F-35B Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) and F-35C aircraft carrier catapult versions, but this has yet to be determined." -
Gotcha! If I don't activate them I do get the fault so I was just trying to clear the fault I guess. I won't even press the button to activate the EGI and just acknowledge/clear the fault instead. Thanks, appreciate you!

Another thing to note is when the A/C is flying in the air, without a ramp gunner (in DCS), you can put the smaller ramps/boards down (I don't know what they're called) if you go to the final ramp "down" stage. These flip out to allow for smoother loading of equipment on the ground, but they wouldn't be used in the air. Ever. Just the ramp itself. But in DCS you can flip them all the way down, even in flight.

The only time the HSI will follow the A/C for me is if I keep repeatedly pressing the EGI1 button on the CDU, and even then it only "catches" up the that location of the button press, it doesn't follow the A/C. Makes navigating tough. It only spins if I change heading. Sometimes it will jump back to the original startup airfield if I fly too far away. I had to keep my track short to keep the size down so I could upload it, so I didn't fly too far this time. Thanks! Caucasus Frontlines Foothold Rev - Live-20250908-080740.trk

I'll have to fly it again later sometime today and just to test this again. My track file was way too large to attach again.

ATFLIR 1688 is the only code working on Afghanistan map
Pribs86 replied to Pribs86's topic in Bugs and Problems
I guess I'm super confused because I am pretty sure, though not 100% (because it's been a while), that I have changed laser codes in the air for the weapons and LSR and have had successful impacts with the F/A-18C. The F-16 for sure does not allow code changes in flight for the ordnance as they have to be changed manually on the ground. Forgive my tone here, but if you can't change weapon codes in the air in the F/A-18C then why is the option there on the stores page? I have attached a track. Thank you everyone for your input! Code Test.trk -
I am flying in Afghanistan the only code that works with the ATFLIR on the left cheek is 1688. Any other code the rounds (500lb LGB) are impacting about 100 meters off the target. The only other laser codes I've tried so far are 1686 and 1687, both are a no go. A friend and I also tried to buddy lase for one another with 1686 and 1687 and same issue, rounds impact off the target. I placed a JTAC on the ground lasing targets with 1686 and the LST won't even pick up the laser. Haven't tried the JTAC on 1688 yet, but will here soon. So far the only code that works in Afghanistan is 1688. Haven't tried any other maps yet either so I cannot speak to those. Thanks!

Hi! The "Flashlight Color - Toggle Green/White" doesn't change the flashlight to green. It only stays white. Thanks!

That would be a good fix also. Even scrolling with the mouse on the dial is way too fast/coarse, I agree.

I've noticed this too. RMB will flip switches on in one A/C but then it flip the same switch off in another. Then in some A/C you can click on a 3x way switch with the RMB and it will cycle all the settings so it doesn't matter if you RMB click or LMB click as long as you just click a lot but in another A/C the switch will only switch on or one direction and stop then you have to LMB to turn the switch off or flip it the opposite direction (I really like this). There is also an issue with dials, IMO. In most of the modules the scroll wheel will turn things up in value, and reverse scroll will turn them down (which I really like). Then the F4U-1D came out and you can't move any dials at all (like the trim) with the mouse scroll, you have to click and drag to get them to move in value. There seems to be no standard across all A/C, which also makes sense to me because ED does their modules differently than say a 3rd party module and vise versa, but it can be kind of frustrating if you are going for muscle memory.

Hi! I should have said the gain OSB rocker button next to the OSBs on the MFD. It worked in GM and SEA mode so I guess it was a big assumption on my part that it just wasn't working on GMT mode when the gain slider wouldn't move when trying to make an adjustment. Thank you for clearing that up for me! I appreciate it! Side note. I am grateful for all that you guys do. This is a great simulator (my favorite) and I love that you guys have correspondence with/and have a place available for us to ask questions and report bugs etc. I greatly appreciate that. Have a good day!

Gain switch works in GM and SEA A-G radar mode. Does not work in GMT mode. Thanks!

I 100% get that it isn't realistic BUT it's already been done for a few other aircraft regardless of their realism. It's really only for convenience because I can never get it back to default trim after I've used it. I have about 11 aircraft but the one listed below are the only ones that have a trim reset. A-10C II - "Trim: Reset" AH-64D - "Trim - RESET to default" P-51 - "Trimmers Reset" TF-47 - "Trimmers Reset"

Hey guys, I would like to request a button binding to automatically reset the trim, trim reset button. I know there are wheels to do this, and I know how to use them, my issue is that I can never get the (expletive) things 100% returned to zero. After making a trim adjustment, from that point in the flight or the next flight after I land the A/C will be in a constant state of roll to the left or right. I can never get it right on the money, back to zero, for some reason. So to make sure this never happens I just end up just never trimming at all in the F-16... even when I've just dropped a bomb on one wing which sets off the weight and balance and where trim is definitely needed. Some of the other aircraft have this same binding option so just wanted to see if it can be added to this aircraft as well. Also wanted to see if there's a possibility to add an ejection seat arm button binding to also match the other A/C like the F/A-18C? Thank you for your time!

Thanks man, I appreciate you. Have a good day!

First off, forgive my frustration. I spent 8 years in the military so I understand the "this is how it's always been" or "this is just how we do things" and to both of those statements, and even more not even mentioned, I've always asked WHY?! They never liked it, but neither did I, so I never stopped asking. I always hated the "just shut up and do your job" because I felt it ends the conversation and cuts off all opportunity for further learning and expanding for all parties involved. But I do understand why that is absolutely necessary sometimes as well. Can't have someone asking a million questions when SHTF and you need to act fast. Not to get too deep, but I think this bleeds into a bigger societal issue as well. We are often told to shut up and just go with the status quo. I don't like that anymore so I have to ask why. I should have been more clear before. I like learning and knowing all aspects of everything, especially everything related to flight and this sim has helped me learn a lot of things. When I see something in it that confuses me in DCS I have to ask someone - is it a bug, is it a real world issue, is it operator error (me - which a lot of times it is), or is it an oversight? I know most people just want to hop in the sim and fly and don't care one way or another, which is fine, but I need to know for some reason. Different strokes for different folks I suppose. Thank you for taking your time and effort to explain this all. I greatly appreciate it. Much respect. Thank you for your service as well!
