  1. Hello everyone, Here are some pictures. They don't reflect the latest state of the module, just to show you how things have been done. Merry Christmas to all of you.
  2. Thanks a lot SiThSpAwN.
  3. Dear Webmaster, Would it be possible to have this thread sticky ? Thanks.
  4. Hi Gents, I'll release some pics of the final cockpit in the coming weeks if everything goes right. Still some parts of code to change about sounds and radio. The texture job for the external model will follow. Thanks for your support. [EDIT] All systems are simulated, NADIR, RWR, etc ..., only IFF is not and will not be simulated.
  5. Sure, I'll try to get an allowance from Eurocopter or Airbus Anybody who has a contact there is welcome to help me Thanks
  6. Hi everyone, The module is ready at 90% now and could go for a beta soon I need your advise To avoid troubles about official allowances (long and complicated) I had the idea to change the name of the module It could be named FH-01 (FH for French helicopter) This way of doing can be seen in car simulation games when they didn't get the real brands allowances What do you think about this ?
  7. Hi Gents, I can't do with more than 2 testers at the same time, so I thank you for your patience and support once again, I just need time... Thanks.
  8. Still on the run, and no texture to show yet, it's a long job as you may guess... Damages have been done, only 2 systems remaining (RWR and NADIR) to code and the gazelle will be good to go. Thanks all. EDIT : was going to forget... I'd need some testers, please PM me and let me know who you are, what you usually fly, devices you use (stick, comm software...) So I can manage some multiplayer test flight
  9. Hello everyone, While the textures are being done, I added the MBDA Mistral IR Missile to the gazelle payload It's made basic at the moment, any addition that could help to improve the procedure is welcome. Thanks. http://youtu.be/EVtV6EonUPE
  10. Aginor it's great, thanks a lot. I already made the newer (red) version, I'm going to do the "older", it will better fit with the french army version. Thanks all of you.
  11. Hi Gents, I just added a Flares drop function, but I'm not sure where the launchers are. http://youtu.be/ONuSKfj1NTg I saw on a demo video (Blue eagles aerobatic RAF) some flares going out from the bottom of the helicopter ? Any help is welcome, I already have some cockpit command device photos, some external launcher photo would be great. Thanks
  12. Hello gents, Here's the last version of the missile sighting system http://youtu.be/nhajeIfPdkQ
  13. Hello gents, The Gazelle is now able to launch missiles and guide them manually to the target. For video purposes, the FM has been switched off, unrealistic perfect auto-hover The autopilot is still to do, I planned an auto-hover option and a moving flight option (maintain the current flight) http://youtu.be/Y2weiVOonYc
  14. Hello Gents, A small update to show you the first step of Viviane sighting system. It will be able to launch and control missiles next week if everything goes right I'll have to code an autopilot auto-hover to enable the pilot to aim. http://youtu.be/9CWcjJUnuQw
  15. Hello gents, I'm coding the "NADIR" at the moment Without any info yet I planned to allow 2 functions 1. You can enter a Nav waypoint number 2. You can enter a TACAN frequency Then the gauges and the moving map will display infos about the selection, azimuth, distance, ...
  16. Hello gents, The cockpit and the external model are completely being re-textured at the moment (still WIP), but no view at the moment. If you appreciate the BO-105 cockpit, you will appreciate the gazelle cockpit too, :) thanks Oliver. A lot of things have been improved or changed, among them, rotor blades animations have been re-made with bones (for the technicians), rotor head animations are now like the real helicopter, a moving map has been added to the "copilot" position. This vid was made at the first step of the moving map coding http://youtu.be/heoMcZYev3Q Thanks for your support.
  17. Hi gents, At the moment, moving map, Pilot gun sight and more things are beeing coded, it's a long way and I thank you all for your support. The 3D pilots are on the way too, pics as soon as possible.
  18. Hi guys and thanks for your support The Gazelle has reached the step to be retextured with its final textures, both cockpit and external I also keep going on coding the parts that were not coded I'll surely post some pics as soon as available. @Nefron, yes I removed some vids from YT, they were outdated and didn't match the current developpement state.
  19. Aginor, More things are coded, corrected or added from a daily basis, I'm still coding some cockpit parts, and The FM plus textures (external and cockpit) will follow. Thanks for your support.
  20. Please guys keep in mind the video was titled "Comms with wingman" and not "FM" Later I'll show you a mission flown by a real life pilot, when time will come. This mission without autopilot flown by me would be of no help to show you the FM, my piloting skills are too bad. Thanks
  21. In real life the pilot doesn't fire any weapon for what I understood (french army, don't know for other countries) Only the copilot fire weapons using a targeting system on top of the helicopter, for this model it's called "Viviane" The copilot uses a TV like screen plus some entry device with a mini joystick to aim The missile is wire guided, some guidance like the missiles fired from tanks in combined arms There's also a binocular At the moment I use a personal (unreal) targeting system for the pilot for playability. Don't know if I'll keep it. The model will feature copilot targeting system when done. The player can already access the copilot station @Flagrum "What kind of stabilization system does this helo use?" The real system is called autopilot but looks better like a stability augmentation system to me it eases pilot work about 3 axis, roll yaw and pitch plus some automatic yaw to deal with the counter rotor moment depending on speed This model follows the same idea, flying without the "autopilot" will be a challenge for some , acrobatics are allowed only with some axis switched off. At the moment the missile is fire and forget for the pilot, I also removed vibrations and some movements when aiming to ensure a decent result, otherwise you won't be able to aim anything. One can disengage the autopilot when aiming and see ...
  22. Sorcer3r "Seems that it uses still the Ka50-FM. But yes, great work so far." NOT AT ALL. completely made from scratch FM it only uses the ka-50 trim sound at the moment.
  23. Just a little vid to show you AM radio tests, communication with wingman http://youtu.be/yWKdyjcP3AI
  24. Happy new year to you all. A little video to show cockpit at night with and without NVG. http://youtu.be/TnkPYG1qYLI
  25. Thanks to you all, Have a merry Christmas.
