  1. Hi guys, Would it be possible to make some of the US units that also served in Europe common with the original WW2 assets pack ? Not an expert on which ship served where, but I always found a bit weird having only Samuel Chase on D-Day missions. And I know for having asked to the concerned campaign makers that adding yet another assets pack required to play a campaign will not be considered given the added paywall. Thanks for considering.
  2. @Graphics what happened to the Iowa battleship stated on the 7th of February Newsletter ? Has it been removed from your plans ?
  3. I can’t help but thinking ED waited to see the success of the Corsair before expanding their plans for the pacific assets pack and the flyable zero. So I guess the Corsair did well sales wise, that’s great news.
  4. I first read the newsletter, I couldn’t believe it. So grateful, thank you ED. Can’t wait to see how immersive this all will be. So glad for the full fidelity zero, and very pleasantly surprised by the AI P38. Maybe flyable one day ?
  5. Great post, and I agree it’s exaggerated as it is. To me it feels like the flutter should occur when side slipping, in which case the « improper alignment » would indeed kick in, the mast being at an AoA. Maybe link its behavior to the ball being centered or not, the speed being at a certain speed onward ? Would be a great cue as a visual piloting reference too.
  6. Very nice video, and the English translation sounds very good to me. Even though I find their stuff very exciting, I find it almost a little frightening seeing Winwings flooding the market with all of their fancy stuff. Not sure how the other brands will compete in the near future.
  7. Hey guys I’m just raising a question, and I got plenty of good answers that I accept, no need to be mean and sarcastic. I don’t pretend to be a zero expert either, and would be very happy to have a flyable one. Chill down
  8. One thing I’m questioning about having a flyable zero, is who is actually gonna buy it, and play it multiplayer ? Given it’s underwhelming performances against both the Corsair and Hellcat in pretty much every aspects except low speed turns
  9. Wow thank you so much for taking the time to explain. I tried the way you describe, but from what I understood from the Virpil built in graph, it actually does the opposite : The logical axis travels from 0 to 50% when moving the physical axis from 0 to 100%. But I didn’t tried in game so I may have misunderstood the graphs. I don’t have my computer on hand until a few weeks now, I’ll try again when I get it back. Thanks again.
  10. Thanks for the answer, but I mean the potentiometer axis, not the digital encoders.
  11. Hi guys, I have a control panel 1, and I’d like to split one of the rotary knob axis into two separate axis : 1 axis from 0 to 50% of the physical position, and another one from 50 to 100%. So I can control the fluorescent lighting of the cockpit on one side, and the normal cockpit lighting on the other side. But so far no luck. Is that even possible ? thanks in advance.
  12. Still hoping that some pacific ships will be shared with the current assets pack so that they could be added to the ETO campaigns we have
  13. Bought as well before it’s too late ! I don’t even have the Tomcat but it will come eventually. I did notice that they changed some of the button to a more purple ish color : weapon release and pinky button. Maybe some kind of update on the controversial buttons feel as they have done for the WarBRD
  14. Couldn’t have said it better.
  15. I also have a full Virpil setup and really wish to stay within the same ecosystem. Did they announced a new base ? Couldn’t find any info
  16. Agreed. If you wanna bring life to this bird, may I suggest heavy grey smoke on startup and low frequency vibrations of the whole cockpit for startup and cutoff.
  17. Thanks for your feedback
  18. I’m also a plane pilot IRL and although not as experienced as you, never seen that before as well. Maybe on the RPM gauge in my PA38 days, but never in a pneumatic instrument. And seemingly the airspeed wobbles is not associated with transient airspeed changes.
  19. Hi guys, I find the needle wobbling on the MAP, altimeter and VSI to be pretty unrealistic and artificial. Especially on pneumatic instruments, which by definition are dampened by the length of the pneumatic lines. See here, I cannot see a single needle wobbling like that : https://youtu.be/jCOXv95kYaM?si=oTDJkFjNz1zPB2Tu I know they’re modern instruments, but the physic hasn’t changed. What are your thoughts ?
  20. Man we got your point, you already pointed that out, back to the subject please
  21. In cas anyone missed it, Virpil started a survey to know what would be the interest of the sim community for their FFB solution. Register here : https://virpil-controls.eu/ffb-register-now
  22. Is there any manual yet ? Couldn’t find one in the download section of ED’s website
  23. Turns out there is a pilot model !
  24. ..which will probably only happen if the Hellcat and the PTO in general sells well..
  25. Yeah I meant it lacks a crew, would give a little life to it.
