P6T Deluxe V2 here with an i7 920 CPU, I didn't want to leave the throttle lit all night so I switched the computer off at the PSU, throttle lasted three days before it died. In a dilemma now about what to do, unplug throttle from USB over night or waste power and leave it running? I know someone else with the same mobo who leaves it lit up 24/7 since Nov and no problems with his.

Just got my throttle back from TM a 14 day return trip, all working and now has firmware 20 on it, I think 18 is the latest you can download. Intel and Asus here so fingers crossed.

Just confirming I left mine plugged in all the time, when I get it fixed I will be doing as you are suggesting I think.

Hmmmm, mine arrived last Thursday, switched on the computer this morning and the throttle is not recognised, done the TM help desk thing and still not recognised in Windows. Left it plugged in all that time. Now the dilemma, do I get it replaced by the seller or a refund? It really is a great setup when working, but this kind of worries me for longevity of the product.
