I got my FreeTrack working no problem, Just copied the files from 1.2.6 into same 1.2.7 folders. I also went into controllers and imported my freetrack profile form 1.2.6 in 1.2.7....not sure if that was needed or did anything, but did it. I believe that the headtracker.dll got moved from a special "headtracker" folder to the dcs world/bin folder in a previous release.

Professional Structural Engineer - I design the structural systems that make buildings stand up. Concrete, Structural Steel, Wood, Masonry, Timber Framing, Historic Preservation, etc....usually the Architect covers up my beautiful work.

I always recommend: http://www.combined-ops-group.com/index.php Friendly, laid back, multiple game platforms, but DCS is a mainstay for them. Lots of pilots in your part of world.

I had this problem a couple patches ago. Needed to re-install DCS World. Not sure what the "official" solution is, just letting you know what I needed to do. Others also have had this problem in the past after patches. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=108464

Check out these guys...lots of options. http://www.combined-ops-group.com/index.php

Re-install worked. I may have crossed files with some older versions causing the error....or that would be my guess.

Just to add to the list....I have had this problem for some time....only in DCS and some FSX planes...exactly as everybody has described. I will try the keyboard trick for DCS....seems like an easy work around, but would love a real fix. Kinda glad to see this thread, I was worried my pedal pots were going! [Edit] - if you search same topic (sticky Saitek Rudder pedals FSX), but for FSX on Google, you get some solutions about changing the sensitivity within FSX program....I wonder if developers changed some sort of sensitivity setting in DCS since the issue did not happen in older versions.

ajax, Thanks! I will try a re-install. I hope I remember to keep copies of all the important config files, LOL! I always seem to miss one.

~S~ all! My mission editor is doing all kinds of wonky things, resulting in needing to CTRL-ALT-DEL to get the program to end becuase I cannot exit the mission editor. I open the mission editor, try to place a plane on the map, the detail window opens up on the right side like usual, but i cannot place anything on the map. i click and nothing happens. The right details window then goes to half size, deleting the bottom portion where waypoints and weapons get inputed. I try to exit the misison editor....it asks me to save the file, i say "no" or "yes"...either way nothing happens and I am stuck in an infinite loop of saking to save or not. I can "cancel" but can do nothing int he mission editor. I then need to CNTL-ALT-DEL to end the program. At the start, I can open an existing mission file, but then all the same happens when I try to save, resulting in CNTL-ALT-DEL. Just curious if anybody else has had this problem. I read in a post that the SavedGames/DCS folder should be renamed or deleted.....I have tried that and always results in save issue. Perhaps a re-install of entire game is the only solution? Thanks in advance.
