Yes, looks like a bug but what is strange sometimes it works, sometimes not.
Its not only gear lamps, I noticed missing textures on all warning lamp (even texture of flood lamp too) when it appears. Strange, it appears mainly from cold and dark start, from ramp. Do You want the track?

But as I wrote before, this bug does not always occur.

Folder of JSGME for mods is only one and you decided where is it (when you create it, I have it in DCS directory for example, but you can have it on another disc). If you dont want to use JSGME you can overwrite views.lua in main directory of DCS.

For me it works too, I didnt notice any issue here.

EA perhaps. Thx for the new option from wishlist however I noticed that on external view chocks arent present (if ground crew uses it).

Yep, I can confirm this, I noticed the same, so looks like its present only with prop lever on full forward position. It will also stop on the flight after a few minutes (even full forward after take off).

The same, from cold and dark start. If you start from runway or in the air will be ok, looks like a bug.
