  1. I totally agree. The A-10C has been unplayable for me for a couple of years now because of the HUD visibility issues, and it doesn't seem that a enough folks are having the issue for ED to address it.
  2. Can't wait! I always enjoyed your missions.
  3. Thanks for the link. I'll have to check that out.
  4. Thanks for the profile! I still haven't tried it in DCS, but my main gripe is that the throttle friction wheel seems to have no effect on my throttle. Has anyone else experienced this?
  5. You make it look so easy.
  6. Cool! I can't wait to see what you come up with.
  7. Can it be edited to make the menu clickable?
  8. Awesome! You can even hear the "whistle". Thanks for posting!
  9. It seems to me that I can barely hear the engine noise in the cockpit now. All other cockpit sounds are normal. I could barely tell that the engines were running. It sounds like it always has on the External views, though.
  10. Thank you. I'll have to give that a try when I get back home. Any news on campaign progress?
  11. Is it possible and/or safe to copy our Key mappings from BS1 to BS2? I assume it would just be the keymapping lua file. How about Campaign progress? I don't know what I would need to copy for this.
  12. With my nearly brand new CH Fighterstick, I get the same behavior. It seems to me that one "click" of trim is too much. It would be nice if the coarseness (?) of the trim setting could be dialed back a bit.
  13. Thank you for the info.
  14. Wow, this is great info. One question: What happens if you try to put something on a hardpoint that doesn't belong there (i.e. Mavericks on the ECM Pylon)? One (other) question: In addition to adding a new loadout to the Static file to make it appear in the Ground Crew/Rearm menu, do you also have to add it to the Dynamic file so that it is visible in the Mission Editor/Planner?
  15. I don't know if I'm totally following this, but even if the JDAM has GPS in perfect working order, and is perfectly aligned it still might not hit the target if the Aircraft's nav system isn't also aligned properly. When you create a SPI on your TADS or with the TGP, the coordinates of that SPI are only going to be as good as the aircraft's alignment state. The bomb may happily go to the coordinates it is given, but those coordinates may not be trusted. I think that a quick launch scenario where you have to get in the air quickly would be better served by using an LGB. </Pure Uneducated Speculation>
  16. Paulkriii's guide is excellent, and looks like the product of a lot of hard work. I learned the hard way that flying over the maximum altitude of the same doesn't necessarily mean you are safe. I assume that it's the difference between manufacturer's specs v. real world performance, and I always add about 5000 feet where possible if I'm doing high altitude SAM Killing.
  17. This might help to make the loadouts more visible. There are a few posts around that show you how to roll your own. I thought I saw in a manual somewhere what the different options were, but I've searched the UI Manual, the Flight Manual and the Quickstart manual, and I cannot find it.
  18. Welcome. I would recommend the CH Products Fighterstick and Pro-Throttle, if you can't afford the Warthog setup. The throttle doesn't match the Hawg (and is not split), but it works really well, and is really flexible. From your photos, it looks like you already have the matching Pro Pedals. I've been using their products for at least 10 years. The Fighterstick is the exact layout of the Hawg stick except you don't have a two-stage trigger, or the Z-axis on the CMS Button. You can get around that by using the CH Control Manager Software. Amazon has them both for around $97 US each. I've had the CH Products since before I met my wife. I would not survive to even play a sim if she found out I bought the Warthog setup, so I'm happy with my existing controllers.
