No , no mods ever installed for mi8! None of the versions! I had him installed in 1.2 , then i installed in dcsw2 , without having them in 1.5 , maybe that was causing it? But i did remove them from all 3 versions now and installed it again as fresh in dcsw 2 , but again i get no texture on the mirrors , very frustrating but have no clue ? Have no clue what could have happened....

i7-4790 cpu @ 3.60ghz 16gb ram geforce gtx 770 2560 x 1080 , 60hz windows 8.1 my rig ....

deleted mi8 in all versions , installed it again with the module manager in version dcs w 2 ..... no luck .. same issue ... just note : no other problems with other modules nor dcs world standard , nellis installed .....all running smooth at 60 fps ..... very strange .....certainly as it seems not reported yet , for me the problem started at version dcs 1.5 .... but not noticed it as i dit not used it much untill trying out on dcs w 2..... :helpsmilie::)

ok , i have installed mi8 into 1.2 = ok , no mirror issues 1.5 = not ok , the same issue as in 2.0 2.0 = no ok , no working mirrors i have tried to update via the bin directory in the prompt ....nothing changes , same blue texture with yellow cross and mirror text :( have repaired dcs as a whole = no result :cry:

So i repair dcs 2 or just the module? Thanks for help Maks

I just installed this wonderful module but have missing mirror textures ? i can only see blue with yellow cross and text mirrors , instead of full mirror reflections :( anyone an idea how to fix ? thanks maks

Even after selecting default for the su27 cockpit textures , still all in chinese Maks

seems to be the shadows! ..... turn them off and no shadows pop in in cocpit , turn them o even on low .....shadows pop in when zooming in on them inside the pit .....outside view does not happen.... clearly a bug but i cannot find any reported thread ? brgds maks

mustang , thanks for tip , now this seems only to work in f2 view for me , inside cockpit it seems that objects still popin ? ....never had this in 1,2,16 .... also notice that when nearing buildings , the textures seem to swap for a moment ....like they change to another texture of building....very strange ... maybe i can still change something else in the lua ? thanks for help brgds maks

solved , nothing to do with bitdefender , reinstalled dcs world and all ok now thks all for info brgds maks

i have bitdefender and it seems it blocked the updater.exe file in the bin ? has anyone a copy available of the dcs world beta updater.exe file ? or somewhere i can download it on the dcs site (i have updated auto matically my 1.2.16 dcs game so maybe no updater.exe file copied from dcs world?) thanks

also tried the cmd updater in dcs world beta but without luck , also i cannot find in this dir any updater.exe file ?

dear ed team, just tested 1,2,16 and 1,5 , same airfield , same ac , in 1,5 i see a lot of building textures swapping when near the buildings themselves , when pulling up and looking backwards , the trees and buildings pop up or pop off very abrupt where in 1,2,16 this transition was not noticable , smoother visually .... have all settings maxed out on both versions , just for info , maybe of the beta version ? brgds maks

Dear Wags/ ED team, In a few weeks time , i will be heading to the flying legends airshow at Duxford, Cambridge and was thinking if it would be possible to see this fantastic place as scenery area into DCS world? Like a commemoration to the fighter collection and all the great pilots who made history ....... I can imagine all those ww2 airplanes to be tested from this field in the dcs world ! :pilotfly:with all the realistic buildings , static planes , museum ...... Would this be possible in the new terrain for example to add ? Just an idea ........just a dream brgds maks
