Hi Tim, looks like some looped effect(s) didn't get "stop" command. Unfortunately, I don't have av8na harrier module to reproduce that. What if you fly some other plane, will the issue persist? -

On the last version of what? DCS? SSA? something else? -

You are welcome :) SSA deals with plane specific data. SimShaker Sound Module is an addon to convert SSA commands into low frequency sounds. -

SimShaker Sound Module is common for all the aircrafts and should work with f-18. Have you encountered any problems? -

I'm not sure that's quite easy. Let's Olaf answers once he can. I agree. -

I suggest you can temporarily unmark "Start Sound Module automatically" checkbox in SSA settings and start SimShaker Sound Module by its shortcut on the Desktop, instead of letting it being controlled by SSA. In general Defender should be disabled by Kaspersky. Some options may be still active though, as I mentioned in this my post. -

There was reported recently that antiviral software (namely BitDefender) can block write operation to User folder which could cause a behaviour like that. Snacko, what if you try to temporarily disable your antiviral software? -

I think the powered extender makes the PC to "think" it's connected to a network and to enable all the network capabilities, although it's actually not connected. I think the signal doesn't go from the PC to the extender and returns back, it should be looped inside the PC. On my opinion, currently you just need to give the PC something to make it "think" it's connected to a network. That may be a powered ethernet switch, hub, another computer/laptop network card, another network card on this PC, etc. Something with an ethernet port. Do you have anything suitable beside the extender? -

I suggest that "Airplane Mode" is applied to means of wireless communications (Wi-Fi, cellular, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC). Currently I have only Ethernet on my PC and can't see the "Airplane Mode" in my settings to try it out with SSA. -

Guys, I'd like to comment a little on those test results. We can see from #3 that SSA doesn't require Internet connection in order to work with DCS, which is quite reasonable. We can see from #1,2 that SSA requires enabled and connected Ethernet port on the PC in order to work with DCS. I'm not too much surprized, since SSA uses network protocols widely for local data exchange. Most of us prefer "always connected" lifestyle so the issue could be just unnoticed so far. We can localize the issue somewhere at the interface between DCS and SSA. I don't know can it be fixed by Olaf within SSA borders or not. We'll see. I suggest that #3 test result could give us a workaround in order to let current implementation of the software (DCS, SSA, Windows) to work together having the internet off. If we connect the PC to the internet router via the simpliest intermediate ethernet switch (may be this one), it should do the trick. Please have a look at my drawing attached. We need to unplug the cable 2 in order to disconnect the PC from the Internet and keep the cable 1 plugged in. I suppose also there may be some other variants of connections with the same goal - to let PC network card to be up and running. -

That's right, PayPal let me down for a while. I'm just waiting in a queue for approval to proceed further operations. I'm working on it, but it make take a few days also. -
OK, I will notify you. A lot of chairs, a lot of questions :) I'm not sure I'd like to compare sizes for every chair you ask guys. Please do comparision with a file attached and make a decision if it really meets your requirements. More customization is possible, but not now, when I have to put the orders on the queue, since that's pretty time consuming. I will ask for a sketch if you really need that. Please see some examples attached.

Sn8ke, It will be available later in this year. I could notify you by email or PM, if you'd like that.

Hi Creature_1stVFW, please refer to official SimShaker for Aviators thread https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=175028&goto=newpost

Great! Thank you for the update!

Have you already tried to spin its shaft? Sometimes it may just temporarily got stuck. If still no luck, please PM me your PayPal address and picture of the motor, I will send you an invoice for replacement motor.
-
Thank you for the feedback, Tom. I'd wish the russian regular postal system performed better as well. Unfortunately, that's out of my control, but I can offer express delivery as a paid option. Regarding this particular case. Your item has already been processed through USPS facility in ISC NEW YORK. I hope it will be delivered soon.
-
OK, 8 motors, if you give me a sketch.
-
Wow. They say, anger is a strong emotion wich can make a man really powerful. Please make up your mind, get one of those six motors and replace the weak one.(joke)
-
Tom, Thank you for the feedback. I can see the package finally was released from Russia yesterday. I'm awfully sorry for the delay, but this sort of things may happen. I have very little control on that. If the issue makes your nervous, I would recommend to consider using one of 6 motors you had working in the first JetSeat as a replacement. If I recall correctly we discussed that in January.

901 model is almost the same size as 908

Sim edition mod will be available back again later in this year.
-
Yes, I sent it on April 4. Currently it's still in transit. I've sent you its tracking ID via PM.
-
Thank you Neal, this is obviously not the JetSeat failure in such a case. Looks like SimShaker for Aviators software do not issue control commands to JetSeat. I can see you are already discussing that with f4l0 in SimShaker for Aviators official thread. I think that's a right decision.
