  1. Yep done that too. Gives me an error: "Update 1.2.2.7204 not avalible!" Even tried that with 7286, with same result... sigh  That I havn't tried. I suspecty it will do the same, but anything is worth a try to get the wheels turning :smilewink: (F-15 wheels) PS: 30 year veteran of PC / Atari / C-64 sims and gaming etc (read computer geek from way back), so use to things not quite working.

Run the repair tool, update downloaded and installed... Still version 7122! From what I can tell there have been two updates with versions 7204 and 7286! I know NZ is out in the back waters, but what is going on here?
  3. I personally have tried all that, with nothing. I have re-installed twice now (with the 1.2.2 installs) and here is what happened... Test 1 * Installed DCS World * Ran updater: Installed very small updat, but version number still 7122. * Installed other Modules * Ran updater: Nother new :( Test 2 * Installed DCS World * Installed other Modules * Ran updater: Nother new  It is interesting the all of us are in New Zealand having issues. Perhapse god (Read big company controlling the internet) has changed somthing. :music_whistling:
  4. Interesting... Me three (or four...) Tried the Anti Virus off trick; didn't work... Going to re-install to see what happens then.
  5. I would say that would be the case. Give them a little bit of time. They will fix it.
  6. I couldn't get that to work after 1.2.1.
  7. Me too... I also noticed that the version number on the download model for BS2 Upgrade had a 20 after the build number, but all the other moduals had a 19... 8. I looked at this and thought what are you talking about. FC3 has been out for weeks, but then I realised that I am posting from the future. It was released on th#? @_______?#!(( CONNECTION INTERUPTED! :smilewink:
  9. Thanks guys for all your sugestions etc. I have had a reply from my Trouble Ticket about this. Here is the reply I got... So there you have it. As I side note, I did get my friend to turn off game mode and try the Shkval for real. He is starting to get two, even three kills in a pass with a Vikhr, and also nail the ladings at Katasi and be able to use the first taxiway off the runway! Roll on FC3 - Flanker and Eagle :-) :pilotfly:
  10. So you are saying that the Bugs and Problems » Multiplayer Issues » section is not the place? (:smilewink: read friendly sarcasim mode on) No worries mate. Will contact a tester as if have also created a trouble ticket and no respone for a week. (Yeah I know, they are busy doing stuff with FC3, and that IS important!)
  11. Hmm, not one reply. This is getting a problem now, as I cannot lock anything that is not an object... ie bridges, buildings etc. Anyone at all had this problem? I am sure it is a bug.
  12. Indeed. And there is hope for one of them already. Set up a training flight last night, with a 'Surprise' at the half way point. My mate didn't panic, and after repairing etc, we went back and game the enemy a good seeing to. My friend enjoyed the whole thing. So after some more flight, drip feeding extra systems in to the training, I'll yank the game mode from under them... :megalol:
  13. Tried that. Multilayer still ignored my settings for game mode. :-(
  14. Thanks for that. I will give that a try.
  15. I have a couple of friends that would like to join me in online flying, but they are not as 'Hard Core' as I am. I want to set up a mission so they can fly with Game Avionics mode on, But I can fly without it. Setting 'Game Avionics Mode' in the gameplay settings is ignored in multiplayer missions unless you enforce the option in the mission file, and then everyone has it! Now this would not be too much of a problem except in Game Avionics mode, my 'Target Lock' button becomes the 'Lock Next Target'. Kind of ruins the emersion for me. So two Issues... 1. Game Avionics Mode setting (main game settings) Ignored in multiplayer. 2. My Lock target button becomes lock next target in Game Avionics Mode. DCS World V 1.2.1.6288 Thanks :pilotfly:
  16. Indeed that is what you would expect to happen, but if it is left unchecked, then nobody can use the game mode. I have tested it with all the setting on and off in the mission, and on and off in the main game options screen, but the only time I have had anyone able to have game mode, is when it is enforced in the mission.
  17. I have a couple of friends that would like to join me in online flying, but they are not as 'Hard Core' as I am. I want to set up a mission so they can fly with Game Avionics mode on, But I can fly without it. Setting 'Game Avionics Mode' in the gameplay settings is ignored in multiplayer. The only way to get the game mode working in multiplayer is to enforce it in the mission options, but then everyone has to use the game mode avionics, including me :(. Is there something I'm missing, or could this be a bug? Thanks :pilotfly:
  18. Thats really odd, as both my friend and myself experienced the same thing last night, but in the SU-25T. Fixed it by activating level autopilot. Could be connected to your issue. There was another update today, and that may have fixed it, as I flew before, but didn't have the same issue.
  19. Ahh, right, so I'm not the only one then... :music_whistling:
  20. Thanks Eagle Dynamics for continuing a genre that has dwindled in the past ten years. I have been flight simming for 30 years, and have been spoilt by some very good sims. For me Tornado, F-22 Total Air War and the original Gunship are my benchmarks. They may not of had the best flight dynamics, and defiantly not the best graphics, but they are fun (yes still fun) and offer a challenge in their campaigns and systems. That was 20 years ago, and we have moved on, mostly with lookalike FPS and RPGs, which sell LOTS. Most of the big players are in it for the money, and any developer that gets sucked in to one of these corporates gets all the creativity and time kicked out on them. Basically the big boys will only sell arcade games with pretty graphics to appease the masses, that includes arcade flight games. :joystick: Eagle dynamics is taking a solid Idea (one world with a number of platforms to fly / drive) and starting to make it work. By taking FC2 and making it a modal immediately gives you 8 extra aircraft to flight and fight in for a very good price. The work required to move a stand alone product (FC3) and put it into a system that can run anything, is a lot. If we want to keep having combat flight sims for jet aircraft, Eagle Dynamics is now pretty much it. As for balance when FC3 aircraft get in the mix with the A-10C etc, Get over it. This is a sim, not a game. Real life doesn't have balance. I will be Getting FC3, and here New Zealand, even with the exchange rate, FC3 is still cheaper than going to the movies! :pilotfly:
  21. My first was ACE: Air Combat Emulator on the C64. Came out in 1985, and had it all... A-A A-G Anti Ship Air Refueling My first on the PC was DI Tornado. I Still have the box with the 300 page manual and the Merlin Challenge game that came with it.
