  1. I agree
  2. Thank you all for your input. As Sobek mentioned, the issue is already reported to the devs (ticket #27979). It's unfortunate though that we cannot provide hard data that show either the exact function or individual data points for course deviation during rudder input. Please let us know when you stumble upon a relevant source. It's just one of those moments in testing when you feel something is not right, but cannot specify/quantify/proof it - probably no one here knows _exactly_ how it should behave in the F-86F-35. @cichlidfan: What I meant is that maybe availability of the MiG-15 and the ability to compare both MiG-15 and F-86 flight models will allow further fine-tuning.
  3. Reported as ticket #28111. Thanks for the research!
  4. Guys, can anyone explain to me - in layman's terms - what exactly you think is wrong with the F-86F rudder? What exactly makes you think course change rate with rudder is not enough? Please consider that not all aircraft are very affected by the rudder. I am not saying you are wrong, but does anyone of you have evidence or hard data to backup the claim (for example aircraft performance records like the "steady state sideslip test")? I think we can probably expect some flight model and aerodynamics fine-tuning after MiG-15 release.
  5. Ich hab's mir letzte Woche direkt bei Amazon für 4,99€ geholt. Bei dem Preis spielt es keine Rolle, dass ich schon zig Keys dafür habe ;)

    Happy birthday!
  7. Very well done!
  8. Gut gemacht, danke. Ich finde es optimal so wie es ist. Es handelt sich allerdings um Version 1.2.10 und nicht 1.2.9 ;)
  9. See http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=130117
  10. Thanks. Problem is already reported (ticket #27143).
  11. It's a ground test plug (also called "field test receptacle") for the A-4 Gunsight. You can connect a so-called "G-3 Sight System Analyzer" to perform different preflight checks and system tests. See T.O. 1F-86F-2 for details.
  12. The Landing Gear Emergency Release Handle is currently modelled, but not functional. There is already a ticket for it in the internal bugtracker (ticket #27097).
  13. Do you mean the Gun-Missile Selector Switch? If not, look at tooltip in the cockpit. With the latest update, the tooltips and input settings should be named identically.
  14. I vote for beczl
  15. Hi guys! This issue is actually fixed since April in 2.0 branch. ED tried really hard to backport it to 1.2.10 to bring the fix to you in the latest update, but it was simply not possible because of so many changes in 2.0. I hope you will understand and we can stop arguing why the issue is still not fixed yet.
  16. I also feel a bit sorry for him. He was so nervous and shaking because of the crowd and the journalists. :D
  17. :megalol:
  18. Yes, there was so much going on in the update thread that your original post (http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2179585&postcount=79) disappeared immediately.
  19. What key commands are in your opinion missing in current F-86F?
  20. Well, just to be clear, it's the only change "folder-wise". See changelog here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2178959#post2178959 ;)
  21. 11 pages :)
  22. There had been some errors and inconsistencies regarding input settings before that have been fixed. In the new update, cockpit tooltips for the F-86F have been corrected to match the official namings from the official aircraft flight manual ("-1"). Also, the "input scripts" for keyboard and joystick (see Options -> Controls) have been adapted to match the tooltips and thus the official naming. For example, the tooltip for the "Radar Range Sweep Rheostat" now says "Radar Range Sweep Rheostat" and it's also called the same in the Options menu, making it easy to find the switch in the Options menu after looking at the tooltip in the simulation.
  23. Haha, they know about this already, but they need something to nag you in the next update :D ;)
  24. See, that is why ED fixed the typo in the latest update. Flight simmers all over the world adopt Russian English into their every day vocabulary :D ;)
