They have a cover editor which makes things very easy. You just enter some metadata (title, subtitle, author, ...), choose a cover picture and a template - that's it.

The DCS Flight Manual for Belsimtek's F-86F Sabre is not yet available. This will probably change when the module is getting closer to final release and out of beta. In the meantime I am using the original Flight Manual (Technical Order T.O. 1F-86F-1, Version "Change 10" from 30.04.1971) for testing and flying the module. Of course I had it also printed by 1Buch (see attached pictures - sorry for bad lighting).

I am still waiting for a review of the UH-1H controllers.

Excellent review and module - even in its "pre-beta" state. Bravo

Oh yes, there exist endless different cockpit layout variants - it's crazy! Yefim Gordon's MiG-15 book has a good collection. I think our cockpit will look similar to this:

What manual are you talking about and where are the editing markings? I do not see editing markings in file "F-15C DCS Flaming Cliffs Flight Manual EN.pdf"...

Exactly!

For Bf 109 I can recommend these (German!): http://www.amazon.de/Messerschmitt-Bf-109-Teil-FLUGZEUG/dp/3862454061/ http://www.amazon.de/Messerschmitt-109-Teil-Typengeschichte-Messerschmidt/dp/3862454096/

Thank you! Yes, they have several options (see attachment for my selection). Changing from "Hardcover" to "Softcover" makes it 5 € cheaper.

Since nobody here at home understands my excitement, I am sharing it with you. Here are pictures of my printed DCS: P-51D Mustang Flight Manual that arrived today. I used German 1Buch printing service (http://www.1buch.de/), it cost me 47,75 € (full color, best quality options) equivalent to 6 boxed copies of DCS: P-51D Mustang ;). I think it was totally worth it. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer having a printed manual in front of me to using my tablet to view a PDF. Thank you ED for not only producing fantastic aircraft, but also excellent flight manuals  UPDATE 13.01.2015: I also posted photos of my copy of the F-86F Sabre Flight Manual here.

Hmm, works for me. -
I think(!) they will release the template as soon as the F-86F is out of beta.

During proofreading of the DCS: Bf 109 K-4 Flight Manual I stumbled upon the following: Pages 10+11: There is contradicting information regarding Rüstungsflugzeug III and IV on the internet. It seems the origin of misinformation is conflicting information in Wikipedia and most other sites just copy&paste from there: English Wikipedia article for "Messerschmitt Bf 109" German Wikipedia article for "Arado Ar 80" Was Rüstungsflugzeug III a single- or two-seat fighter? Was Rüstungsflugzeug IV a single- or two-seat fighter? Does anyone have original documents or know for sure? Thanks for your help!

HuggyBear, what is your opinion on the current VRS simulation in DCS: UH-1H? Should anything be changed? AFAIK you're the only real UH-1H pilot around here.

I second that. 2014 has brought us several DCS video masterpieces. This is certainly one of them. Good job
