  3. LOL!! but, migs/su27s carry way more missiles. Both can be deployed into battle faster than the F15. Mig 29 can take multiple missiles. Russian A/C have EO. where is all this in the balance? Balance is subjective. Blue has better RWR and that is about it. So saying the eagle is the best fighter for blue flag in the current state. This is my opinion and you see it does not match yours. I think its been very balanced. I think red has the advantage in the air and blue has the advantage in the ground. We really need to stop these B/S post about balance and let the host run what they want on their server and just deal with it. We all have our own opinions on how it should be run and whats fair but its Buddy Spikes that counts. If some people get their way there will be no one on the server. Yesterday it was pretty balanced.
  4. Sit in plane with INS aligned and wait couple hours for a scramble call :D Scrambling a Su27 with 20% is way different than a F15 with tanks. Difference is the Su27 is instantly fighter capable. F15 is not. I agree, give us all 0 or all 100%. How about 100% fuel for fighters but only 2 or 3 lives :thumbup: Then again I don't mind the fuel up process but please make it a bit more fair for all. I have never filled a su27, but I can imagine it takes forever. I'm guessing that's why they give it 20% so it's the same time to fuel as the 15. The problem with that is now it can be used as an instant inceptor.

  6. How about removing the air strikes all together for Helios. Let the L39s and Hawks do that role. Helis are heavily tasked already. The other night red was driving the convoys to blue airfields and attacking them. Please make the undrivable.

  8. You can fly to tacans and ndbs if fc3 planes? I never knew. I would like to use the hsi in the F15. Only thing I figured out was a crude ils system.
  9. Love this idea! This would rock! You can use you kneeboard and make marks to get your current position.
  10. I was having problems with the huey. I could turn volume up but none of my hotkeys were working. I could not change radios or use PTT. I have lastest update. Update was great! We tested with 5 guys and worked very well. :thumbup: I found my problem. I found I have to use the intercom selector. For others you can map the Intercom model 1,2,3 to match your hotkeys for other planes. I found intercom 2 is radio 1, intercom 3 is radio 2 and intercom 1 is radio 3.
  11. A lot of Blue fly the A10. Blue always has to much CAS and not enough cap. Removing the A10 would be a horrible idea!

  14. I have had my CH products forever! Think I bought them in 2001. I am also in the market for new technology. My hotas still works fine.
  15. I like to have hi volume airports. AG and AA aircraft. I know quote wasnt towards me but that is a reason I fly cas on a populated server. More for the airport operations. Its fun to see another plane taxi or t/o and land. It really does suck when an A10 takes a lot of time to set up navigation and weapons, systems and gets shot down by an arcade planes that starts by a keystroke. Maybe hot starts for CAS planes and no fuel starts for fighters to offset this imbalance. I think most respectable CAP players do not engage CAS aircraft. If that changes I hope the CAS players do go somewhere else and let the FC3 planes fly together. When I fly fighters there is plenty of fighters to shoot at. Some missions on the 104th I refuse to fly CAS. Some I wont fly fighters. I find CAS to be good on Open Conflict.

  17. I reinstalled windows today and now I have no sound. I kept DCS on my D drive and had to reactivate everything. I Have all drivers up to date and have done windows update.   18. To bad you can't disable EO. I say it would be a fair to strip 120s but then strip EO on the Russian planes if you could.
  19. Nalchik does not have helos anymore. They took them out.
  20. Then Blue will need F15s at Mozdok,Maycop,Anapa,Beslan ect :book: The way they have it set now is same for Blue when we push. We only get mirages for fighters and no helis.
  21. This is very common, happens with red or blue. Seems like if the base is 20% or lower it will be closed on restart.
  22. Not to get into the IC thing but I understood it as export on or off. Not what mods can be used and cannot. If I recall correctly export had three levels.   23. This is awwesome! This will be great for GCI and flights! I was messing around with universal radio last week and thought how cool it would be if everyone was using something like that.
  24. And then get pushed back :-). I find it hard to keep airfields. If only the airfield bule/red captured had helis. Hard to defend it with two mirages and no choppers laying down air defenses. When Bule took pak 3 the other night our chopper pilots were flying for 3 hours strait. Once we had them in pak 3 we lost them at restart. I seen BS took the chopper we had in Nalchik. That was key to keeping pak3. I have never flown red yet but see they will have the same problem when they push. IMHO I think each side should get a bit more resorces when capturing an airfeild. Maybe make the airfield harder to take but more of a reward when taking it. exp: Blue 2 choppers, 2F15s, 2 CAS Red : 2 su27s, 2 CAS, 2 Choppers. That or make some kind of script that would give airbases what planes they had land there before the server restarts. That way the choppers/fighters don't need to make the 100nm flight because of a restart.
  25. Maybe the F4s. Mig29s I have put 4 missiles into. So by some peoples logic on here I better not fly right now. Blue is outnumbered 2:1. 30 red to 12 blue. It goes both ways depending on the time of day. In your prime time if your outnumbered maybe you should of chosen the other collation or only fly on weekends. You must of known before you joined the way the numbers swing. I am enjoying blue flag. Thanks Budy Spike! Can't wait to fly the bomber thing
