This mission has actually confused the hell out of me and left me not knowing if I am doing something totally wrong. The JTAC first tells me there is no mark and then places a red triangle on the map? Then it tells me to load maverick missiles yet gives me a laser code and all. It then asks when I want the target lasered - What? Am I suppose to use laser with mavericks? This mission has totally confused me just when I thought I was picking things up. Can someone run this mission please and tell me if it's bugged? Why is the JTAC going on about laser when it asks me to use Mavericks? Thanks!

I have just installed the mission and opened it in the editor to see how the JTAC works. When I click on the JTAC vehicle in the mission I see a white line coming from it and going to the enemy vehicle. I at first thought this was just a waypoint, but it is obvious that this is how it is spotting the enemy vehicle. Does anyone know how to create that white line that is used to spot the enemy vehicle? I presume it isn't complicated, but I have no idea at this point. Thanks!

Does anyone know if there are any JTAC training missions for the A10C anywhere? I don't want to head into the campaign with missiles going off in all directions, I just want to get a feel for some easy targets and to practice some Different JTAC types. I would like to setup my own JTAC types in the editor if possible, but I'm afraid it might be to complicated to setup. I could be wrong though, so if someone could quickly brief me on how to set it up in the editor, then I could do that if there are no training missions. Thanks!

I have know idea what you mean. All I did was place them near me in the editor and then started the mission. I am using the correct radio which is the UHF that's all I know. 1)How do you place them in a group 2) How do I know they are using the same frequency

I have set my A10C as player in the editor and I have placed three more A10C at the side of me because I want to practice giving orders to my wing men.. I then start the game from the editor, but when I try to give them commands they won't respond to anything I tell them to do. Can someone tell me if there is something I have to change in the editor before they will respond to me? Thanks!

They were defiantly CBU 97's that were loaded, but do you use this bomb with CCRP, CCIP or can you use both modes? It's just the demos I've seen so far they are using CCRP, and I have to change it each time from CCIP to CCRP when I load them.

Why does the CBU 97 always seem to start with CCIP and not CCRP? When I have looked at demos on how to use this bomb they always use CCRP, so why isn't this the default when you load it up using the load dms? Also, what causes the invalid message you get on your TGP. I remember reading about it, but I've totally forgot why you get this message > invalid or invalid fuzzing<

Hi I keep getting a message to activate the Mig 21 Bis due to computer changes. I did change my computer parts to another case, but when I try to press to reactivate it again it wont work? Just keeps asking me to reactivate it everytime I start the game.

I just started the first campaign mission and by the time I've set myself up for the targets someone else has already blown them up. This might be because I'm taken to long to get into position though. I had been trying to attack the targets from the rear and then from the sides, but maybe flying a bit to far out before coming back in. I'm just wondering now if it might be a better option to attack the target head on and put them on my 3 o clock when I encounter something, but I'm not sure what to do to be honest and need a little help. Can anyone help with any ideas on how to go about attacking targets? Like should I head straight for them or what? Thanks!

Can I uninstall Lockon from my other computer then without it effecting DCS? It's just I'd like DCS installed on both my computers old and new. Thanks!

Why am I in different aircraft when I start the Campaign? Can someone please explain why am I in different aircraft when I start the Campaign? I have chosen the A10C in the Campaign, but when I start the it I am in an entirely different aircraft. I have uploaded some pics and hope someone can help, it makes my game unplayable until I find out whats wrong. I have tried both the Georgian Hammer and the Georgian Hammer with CA and they both end up putting me in that different plane in the Pic. I also went into the mission planner before the mission just incase something strange was happening there. But as you can see it shows me in an A10C waiting at the airport. However, I am in the air in a different plane when the mission starts.

Thanks for the replies, but I've just been looking at another Cpu that's just come out. This ones a Haswell e 5820k, and I'm wondering if this one would be a better then the 4790k? A Lot of the games I play are Cpu intensive and that's the reason behind wanting the best Cpu. I know I'll have to get a new board and everything but that's not a problem.

I currently have a i7 930 Cpu and I'm considering upgrading to a 4790k Cpu, but only if I will see a good performance boost in DCS. I have the i7 930 overclocked to 4.0Ghz, but I've heard you can get a good overclock on the 4790k at 4.6ghz. I'm just looking for some advise, like if it's worth the upgrade or not and why. Thanks! I installed PeterPs proper Neck mod sometime ago using JSGME, but when I disable it in JSGME I am having problems with the HUD view. Please take a look at the pics I have uploaded and you will see when I try to remove his Mod my HUD seems zoomed in. Does anyone know how I can get my HUD looking as it should without this mod? I have uploaded two pics. One with PeterPs Mod showing that the cockpit is HUD is correct and another pic when I have disabled his Mod and my HUD appears to zoomed in. I know I could just carry on using the Mod and my HUD would be okay, but I want to play the Sim without it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

That's good to know, but as a test how do I turn off DTSAS.

That's what I thought. When I disable the RDR Altimiter, I do get a warning on the Caution light panel about GCAS. But if I am about to collide with the ground, I still get the big green cross and Betty warning me to pull up. So is this a bug that needs reporting?
