How come I still get a ground collision audio warning when I have Radar Altimeter disabled? I thought that disabling this switch disabled the GCAS? I think they call her Betty, (Hmm Betty) and she warns me of a ground collision even though the Radar Altimeter switch is disabled?

I ordered it even though I'm still learning the A10C. I buy all the Modules, but haven't had much time for any others while learning the A10C. Hopefully, when I have learned all there is to know about the A10C, I will have a better understanding of aircraft and learn the rest a bit quicker.

While people may want better aircraft, but all I want is a better map right now. I'd even be happy flying about using a Hand Glider if it meant a different map.

When you say visually, do you mean things like better colouring or something else?

When Edge is finally released is it going to be introduced on the current map? What changes are we going to see if it is going to use the current map? Are we just going to see more objects on the map, but still have sunken building ect? Or will the current map change dramatically?

How is he getting no judder?

Can someone tell me why I start in the cockpit lower down? I keep on having to move my camera about before I'm sitting in the cockpit correctly. I like my camera tilted down a little so the camera can pick up the Rift better, but when I do this I'm seated lower down in the Cockpit. Does anyone know if there is a button I can press that re-centers me and has me sitting in the cockpit correctly?

But we are only on 1.29 what about all the numbers in between? Are these going to be patches or are we going to jump straight from 1.29 to v2.0?

Well the way it was getting talked about in December of last year and again just recently.. I was expecting to be playing it already.

So it's v2.0 that's the Edge patch now? If it is then why was there all that talk about EDGE been 1.30? I'm a bit disappointed if it is going to be v2.0 because it sounds miles away. Bit disappointed to think I'm going to spend even another month flying the current map which is how old now? We are getting all these nice aircraft which is great, but it's a killer looking out of the cockpit onto the current map. Can anything be done to improve the current map if we are stuck with it for sometime? Can I get hold of the desert map that came with A10C, when it was first released?

This Sim is more Cpu then GPU hungry. What is your Cpu and the rest of your specs?

I found that turning cock pit shadows off and putting scenery to medium improved it for me. I still have it but it's not as bad.

I didn't even bother to read the whole of this tread because I saw the word EDGE mentioned. Please tell me this isn't going to be another 500 + pages of wondering when EDGE is going to be released or that it's imminent.

I was just wondering if there is anything I can do to improve how it looks in the Rift? I know it's mainly down to the Resolution of the Rift, but just wondered it there are any tips or tricks to improve it?

I cannot get the Rift to work in Multiplayer, is this because it's not implemented yet? If it is supposed to work then how do I get it to run? I can get it to run in single player just fine. When I click on Multiplayer exe it just ends up with nothing in the rift or on the PC, it's like the game never started apart from a brief screen.

The lenses make it that they are not so close to the screen. Doesn't give me headache or sickness, but everyone is different. I hope they implement it better then it is at the moment thought because it's a right pain in the ass setting it up.

I managed to do it with the rift as the primary, but it's really hard to see what your doing in the options. Just one more thing if anyone can help and that's is there anyway to reduce the judder when looking around?

Ill give this a try when I get home but doesn't setting the Rift screen as primary make things impossible to see? What if I cannot get out of that screen will it mess my computer up? Also, is there anything in the DCS options I need to turn on because I don't see anything that relates to Oculus Rift. Thanks!

I just setup the A10C, with the Oculus DevKit 2 and it really feels amazing. However, I cannot click on any of the switches in the cockpit while I'm in the Rift. Can someone tell me if there is a way around this or will it be fixed in a patch? I really hope they carry on supporting Oculus Rift, it just feesl like your flying a huge plane and it's giving this Sim rave reviews on DevKit 2 forums. They just need to up the Res abit more and it will be hard to drag me out of this Sim. I'm not sure if this is the right thread to put this in, but I cannot find the Oculus one.

No, I see my mouse as a cross on the screen, I then hover over a switch and nothing will click. Does it work for you using a Rift?

This gets so confusing when you are in the thick of it sometimes. I have printed out the pages from the manual and I'll see what happens. I do know it wasn't my TM Hotas faulting though, because I could see the TMS switch moving in the cockpit as I moved it on my Stick. Thanks for the replies.
