Give a KC-135 two waypoints some distance apart. Then on the first one go advanced waypoint actions, perform task, orbit, racetrack. You can also set the duration. Then set the F-15 flight up, you can either force them to refuel, advanced waypoint actions, perform task, refuel or I think that if they have a CAP task and they run low on fuel they will automatically go to the tanker.

Newer ARM's do have the capability to track a targets latest position when it stops emitting.

The throttle is left alone in normal mode unless you lose an engine at which point you bump it up to emergency. The shark has automatic engine governors. You don't need to touch the throttle. Also, the collective does not control the RPM. It controls the angle of the blades, this forces the engines to work harder and you RPM's will lower as you increase collective.

Aircraft can't rearm or refuel once landed. They land, sit on the ramp a bit and eventually disappear. (You can set helicopters to land anywhere and take off again but they won't shut down, refuel or rearm.)

They crossed at 18,000 although in the storm one of them ended up with only backup instruments and ended up at 23,000 feet and climbing at 5,000 a minute because of an updraft.

Set up a flight plan with the F-16 and make sure he has a payload and is set to intercept or fighter sweep. Tick the late activation and the uncontrolled box above the waypoint options. Then go to triggered actions and set Perform command->Start. Put a trigger zone around the airbase. (This is the "radar" detection ring and then set up a trigger. Once->unit in zone "enemy aircraft->AI task "Start. The F-16 will appear on the ramp at the beginning but not take off. When the enemy aircraft are in the ring he will start, taxi and takeoff. Note: This was done from vague recollection so don't take it as gospel. I'll try it out later and get back to you.

I believe that the problem is that if you have radar indications and then a missile warning it doesn't realise it's an IR missile (understandable) and therefore keeps a chaff program presumably linking the missile launch with the radar indications.

Is this because of the maverick in DCS A-10? As in, the crosshair isn't ground stabilized?

The APU's was newly recorded by Paulkri I think. (A-10 crew chief). There was a thread about it somewhere. But yeah GEP's nicer.

You've only lost one activation and you have 10. When you run out you wait a month and automatically get a new one. Don't really see the problem here?
