  1. Hello falcon 120,I'd be Happy to.... For Me going from Rift to Pimax was a noticeable difference. --FOV-- This was the first Big difference I noticed,It was like going from looking through a periscope to having a panoramic picture in front of you. --Resolution-- Very noticeable difference here as well,Hornet DDI'S,MFD's,HUD,Small Analog Gauges all much better and readable compared to Rift. --Target Spotting-- For me it's a little better,It could be my Pixel Density is set too high to spot far away targets. --Drawbacks-- Their is some distortion at the very edges of the lenses,Noticeable when doing Carrier Landings and you're making the long left sweep turn to final while trying to keep the carrier in site. --Demanding-- It's very demanding on hardware...You'll need plenty of PC Horsepower to run it at max, --Comfort-- The Pimax headstrap is not as user friendly or adjustable as Rift's,Some user's actually complain of pain after long missions. These are just my personal observations after about a month of use. Hope this answers some of your questions.
  2. For Me it's ShadowsI have to have them....In the cockpit especially.
  3. Hello DCS VR Pilots,As a former Oculas Rift and now Pimax 5k+ User I've always come to the DCS VR forum for all the latest news, hardware, and firmware for all the various VR devices. I perticularly like the threads where users post their own personal experiences with each device,It's always interesting how some pilots can live without something's while others it's a "Must Have" It reminds me of the (old timer alert) FSX release Days,FSX was far ahead of its time,Really in its release days there was no adequate hardware to run it on Max settings...So we all had to make trade-offs on our setting to get it to run acceptable to our own hardware and visual eye candy. These "New" days in VR remind me a lot of the early FSX Day's in the sense we all must make sacrifices in our settings to get DCS VR to run at its best immersion possible, So my question is....What are your "Must Have" features in DCS settings to make the VR experience the best it can be?
