  1. Hello Rob,I think I understand what you're saying as far as "Mission Design"? They've been discussing making them "Objects" in The Mission Editor but probably won't come in EA Release. Personally I'd like to see them Helo landable and able to place objects on them like troops and cargo,That would be Awesome!!!
  2. From Eagle Dynamics FB Page “Super Tankers for Persian Gulf Map An important aspect of the Persian Gulf is its traffic of super tankers coming to and from. For the new Persian Gulf Map, we have added this new static object that is built into the map. These are in addition to cargo ships and various types of pleasure craft. Just like cars, truck, buses, and trains for the ground, we also want to create a more “lived in” look for the sea parts of the map. Also in today’s images, we see an example of one of the highly-factious skins; in this case, Israel. We fully realize this is not a realistic skin, but we also have many customers from various countries that do not operate the Hornet, but still wish to fly their Hornets in their countries liveries.
  3. Fantastic to know the release dates. Thank You!!!
  4. :DI Have to admit.......I'm not THAT disappointed The Persian Gulf Map is arriving ahead of The Hornet:D

  10. http://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/20690/f-a-18e-pilot-found-hypoxic-after-diversion-to-incirlik-air-base-during-syria-mission "On May 3rd, the U.S. Navy supercarrier USS Harry S. Truman's air wing began pummeling what's left of the Islamic State in Syria after taking up station in the increasingly tumultuous Eastern Mediterranean. On May 7th, 2018, during one of these sorties, a flight of two F/A-18E Super Hornets, Freedom 52 and Freedom 55, from VFA-136 'Knighthawks,' made an emergency diversion to Incirlik Air Base in Turkey. Upon landing, one of the pilots showed major symptoms of hypoxia and had to assisted by ground personnel just to exit the fighter's cockpit. We reached out to the Commander, Naval Air Forces public affairs office regarding the incident and they promptly confirmed that the diversion did occur and that one pilot had a physiological incident in the cockpit that included symptoms of hypoxia—the lack of oxygen to the brain and other bodily tissues. The War Zone's sources say that the flight originally diverted due to a warning of an oxygen system malfunction in one Super Hornet, but once on the ground, another emergency was declared by the pilot of the other F/A-18E who began experiencing symptoms of hypoxia. The bizarre incident comes as the Navy and the Air Force continue to struggle with finding the culprit of oxygen woes that have seemed to spread across multiple types of disparate tactical and training aircraft. These physiological incidents have grounded entire aircraft fleets for months at a time and have even manifested themselves in different ways on the same type of aircraft. "
  11. ;) Haha!! Got me!! Yea....Some Levity....I'm down with that brother  Cheers and keep Rock'in in The Free World.
  12. Hmmm,How shall I put this??? ;) I remember when FSX came out....some 11 yrs ago?? The graphics and options were so advanced that no PC or stock GPU/CPU at that time could run it at MAX settings....tweaking became a normal/acceptable way of getting the best bang for your hardware's buck!! And if you had a Beefy CPU?Say,2.5 GHz or over? You found a way to over clock that thing and keep it cool. **2018** Not much has changed.....Tech has advanced and so must we....VR is cutting edge stuff,If you want to keep up kids, You are going to have to learn to tweek, over clock and adjust your hardware and settings to give you the best experience you can get. This is Flight Simulation 101 Its been this way since The Commador 64 days. ** My Apologies for getting O.T My comments are meant to help those struggling with bottleneck hardware issues**.
  13. I think we need to take it in stride,Since January of this year with the introduction of the long awaited and promised DCS World 2.5 we've seen a Massive update to the core game. The DCS Team is not limitless with time and resources. We just received an update to help solve some memory game issues with 2.5.1. I believe once they get the core game issues resolved they'll revisit optimizing VR. As a side note,a 1080ti with a mild memory overclock can do wonders in smoothing out some VR rough spots.
