Omg.... Can i be that stupid and forgot about details.... Might be it... Usualy on other aircraft it appears even when not dirty up... It can be it! I'll check if it does the deed.., and never laid attention in videos if gears were down or not from people.

Greetings guys, Is there a bug known or somethinf with APP/ILS? I do most i can find on the forums or youtube and i can't get the ILS going, nothing appears on the HUD, when i push APP nothing happens, the HUD infos should be droping from top to center, and nothing move. IM trying to land at McCarran, rny 25, ILS 111,75, turn knob on the M is i remember, well the right letter, i even made the waypoint landing in the ME, i select it on the INS panel with the INS DEST, on the HSI with the ltitle knob, i select the NAV option, behind the needles, on the ALIGN panel, i turn the knob to NAV, on the volume panel, i turn the ILS volume and i can hear the morse code... what else i'm missing so it work? :) I've tried most all combination of the A or M option on the ILS knob, on the HSI, i tried all the options (NAV, TAC etc...) APP on and off... Thanks.

Found the prob, i had this issue with a friend of mine's mission, well i opn the trak in the Me and save the mission, so either there is a corruption in the mission or it doesn't allow snapview saving, but i created a mission of mine and works.

I think you had to do this in older versions of DCS World, not sure, but in other words, i have never done in in 1.26 if i remember but for sure never done it in 1.5 nor 2.0, and i do have this issue with the Mirage only, all other modules keeps teh save i make. But yeah i tried it yesterday and change it for false and no joy :)

Greetings guys, Am i the only one having prblem to save my custom starting view, it works with all other aicraft, besides the Mirage, i do Right-ALT+) it saves, all is good, but when i quit mission, once i get back in a mission, it gets back to default view....

All good now, i tried a third time, this time with HTTP, mostly 1.2 mb/sec and no crash, i didn't take any chances and simply deleted all partial files in the _download folder before starting a new download. Installed and working.

:) I am patient. I'm just woundering of the partial files are useful, if i can recover, or i simply all http and tarrent incomplete files and restart and wish i won't get badlucked a 3rd time. :)

Greetings, Now i'm getting a bit dispointed and frustrated at the same time :) I've been downloading 2.0, installed, no problem, the a few days after i decided to buy Nevada and install it, but, as lots of posted as been pointed, download is long like hell, i can deal with this, but my prob is, 2 times, the download stoped because of a message of the Updated unexpedctly quit or something like this, sorry for now being specific but my system is in french, so 2 times after 5 hours of download it stoped and kinda crashed at about 10-11g downloaded, now, i gotta restart a 3rd times, and getting uncertain if i do it, because wil it work or crash again, and, i've done already 20 g in those two tried in downloads, guess i've already busted my monthly data download with my provider... so, if there a way to resume download, because it restarts each times, i just tried again and either torent or http, it start all over again.... In a single word lol HELP :) :helpsmilie: Thanks

Talking the lights on the carrier, the quivalent of the PAPI lights on airfield indicating the glideslope and indeed it is for late approach, usualy intercepted about 3/4 of a miles or when passed the last 90 deg before getting in the groove, used to land carrier in FSX using these, rather than the ILS and i'm having some problm using the system in the SU-33, gotta work it out :) I just find it easier to follow the ball

Is there anyway to get the IFLOLS lights (ball/meatball) on the russian carrier to work? Couldnt find any threads about this :(

Well, after a few tries to get use to the aircraft, i haven't landed much the russians aircraft yet so far, i was mainly getting use to their weaponery system with mission i made starting airborn and reseting mission to save up time when out of fuel... So it need a few tries to get use to the feeling of the bird and landing system, but i ended up trying out the same pattern and ended up close to it... i still need practice since i got a but rusty with carrier traps and some practice with the feeling of the bird, triming and so on and keeping on the donut on speed. Here is a small video i've made with some air refueling then heading for the carrier, i missed the initial trap with the break but ended up lading the second pass... but not bad for one of the first traps and midair refueling i've tried with the SU-33. I'm having some problem flying with the circles, same as with the Hornet with the ILS bars, i tend to keep an eye sweep on AoA indexer to be on speed, then lineup, then Glidesope with the glideslope numbers over the altitude on the HUD since no working landing lights on the side of the carrier working :( and rate of descent between -3 and -5, then back to AoA indexer and so on, so the circles are merely some obstraction, i love getting busy reading out all the other stuff when doing patterns, coming in straight from distance, is a different story, path circles now comes a must until at least 1 nm or when eye contact on the carrier. So basicly what i try is, coming in for the break, about 800 ft (255 meters) slightly boardside (more or less between 0,1 nm and 0,3 nm) of carrier at about 350 kias (648 km/h), breaking when passed a bit the carrier, etending airbreaks, idles trottle, aiming 600 ft (183 meters) and about 150 kias (277 km/h) or sompli green donut and on speed when i get out of the 180 deg, downwind, dirty up with gear, flaps and hook down about 1,1 to 1,5 nm from the ship. When i get abeam of the ship, i confirm check 3 greens down and lock, flaps down and hook down, then before ship gets to my 45 deg back i start the inital last 180 and either start slowing descent about -1 or keep 0, depends if i got too far from the ship ot not when i get downwind. Then i start flying visual while looking oftenly to the carrier to lineup when i get pass the wake, then while coming out the last 180 deg and incepting the glideslope, i start my eye sweep on the primary important stuff and hope i don't screw up :) If too fast, i raise nope up, if too slow i lower nose down to get the green donut, if rate of descent is too fast (more than-3 or -5) or lower than glideslope i throttle up, if on the opposite, rate of descent is too slow (-2 to 0 or positive) and lower than glideslope, i throttle down a bit, trying not to overcorrect. Smofth and easy. But sometimes it's not going as i expect lol and end up with a bail or waveoff :) [ame] [/ame]

Greetings guys, I've been looking for a fews days on forums or the Web for these infos but coudn't find any, so here i am posting on here. I'm trying to find the pattern procedure for carrier op for the SU-33, as for the NATOPS for the F/A-18 For exemple from what i remember when flying the SuperBug in FSX (been a while, i forgot some stuff :)), coming on for an overhead break, 800 ft, about 350-400 kias for the break, by the time you get downwind at the end of the 180 deg, usualy end up on speed about 150 kias, 600 ft, dirty config, gear, flaps and hook down between 1.0 and 1.5 nm from the carrier (varies between legacy and rhino Hornets). Abeam final check up before initial last 180 deg. When carrier is about 45 deg or left wing tip, start the initial slowy increasing descent rate form 600 FT to intercept the glideslop on final a bit more than 3/4 nm from carrier..... in other word, what is the altitude for a pattern with the SU-33, do they have some pattern like the NATOPS does or they always go in straight folowing instruments and HUDs circle without any ball on carrier read outs? If pattern, what altitude they enter and end up on downwind? Thanks

Aye guys! Just found a server and started going online :) not eay so far, first i went, i got killed by something invisible not even showing in TRackview :) the session after, got shot by a F-15c flying 42 000 ft AGL / 44 400 ft. ASL and going TWS on all targets with his AIM-120's... no luck so far lol

So, is anyone willing to team up on week days evening, 6 pm up to whatever 10 pm eastern time (23h00 - 03h00 zulu) for some BVr or BFM practice?

Thanks for all the replies guys :) But, movies, i want movies... reading it makes it seems easy, but anyone can make a movie of it, i'm more visual and wanna see if it does as easy as writen because when i try all stuff it doesn't work :(( I beg anyone to make movies of their tactics Bucause at hoghest skill level i'm having a hard time to shake the AI Su-27, as for the F-15c at highest level i can deal it well usualy .:(

Hey guys! I made a little mission for MP dogfighting (BFM, guns only), there is not much servers on, spoecialy in 1.5 for this purpose, i found one, but it has lots of aircrafts besides fighters and ground targets and AIs are there, and when you hop in and see 5 people on but they are SU-25'S or A-10's, not much dogfight there or you don't wanna piss them off while chasing them. :) So i decided to make a little mission and share it here, so when people wants to BFM with modern aircraft they can host it and we never know we might get on nights and see people on your server, might not, but not trying ends up with 0% chance. :) Mission is for F-15c, SU-27, Mig-29's (a,g and s models) only, no missiles available, guns only, they are 8 units of each type on blue sides and on red sides 8 units for F-15c and SU-27, as for the Migs-29, threre is 8 migs, but shared between all models. All of them are parking hot, so it speed off taking off and stuff.

You guys should put the USAF Agressor on enemy side in the basic template of the Create Fast Mission module, so when we generate a mission we can edit it as the option allows it, but having the USAF on enemy side, we could edit as we want. So i could be able to generate a mission and make bandits F-15c to fight against or any other aircraft. :)

Thanks for the reply, i really apreciate :) But as for the track, unfortunately, it's desync, i guess 1.5 is having a prob with tracks as someone mentioned in a post a few post before :(

Indeed, uslay when playing around with time speed in tracks it does desync or sorta.

Here's my mission if you still want to make a track so i can watch :) You can call in Bandirs using radio menu, as F-10 (others), for now, only F-15c and Mig-29S are available. You can hop in the F-15c Air-Hot 1 or 2 slots which starts airborne about 10-15 nm from enemy spawn. Edit : forgot to mention, this misison is made with DCS World 1.5

That's my plan, i posted to find some people for it snd train, but i wanted to be worth it a bit before and not make people waste their time :) That's an interesting teply!! I'll try this all out, i normaly don't fly on eeek-end since i'm never home, but will try on monday do your advice and finaly eatch the entire movie " the art of the kill " I will attach the mission ehen i get back home, it's work in progress sine i redo it entirely fir 1.5 but you'll be able to use it to call in radio bandit F-15's, Mig-29's and SU-27's in WVR for now. I would appreciate it, i was about to post a thread specialy for people yo post in Tracks, i'm a vidual kinda guy.. :) English not being my primary speaking/reading language, even though i'm bilingual, when it get's to technical stuff, i sometimes have a bit of problem to assimilate infos, i need to read stuff more than once :) I will get back to you when i get home on sunday. Your help and advice is more than welcome, lots if helpful post on here, but not much visual stuff.

Well i know a little bit, i'm still learning a lot, i used to be flying casual ever, doing patterns, carreir traps and so on, only combat stuff i did was with the A-10c 2 years ago and most air maneuvring i was doing with it was traning evading sams. :) I still need to read and watch videos. Here a little track when i try to folow it, when i get stall and having a hard time to folow, he seems to be in perfect control. I know it's bad flying :)

Greetings guys, I've been looking around the forums for threads on related subjet, but some are from old DCS World versions or models has changed since then. I'm having a hard to to WVR BFM AIs, i wanna train with AI until i can get online with some people due to time availablility, but i am having such a hard time, specialy in the F-15c, i'm having such a hard time to flolow or shak, im usualy flying against, F-15c, Mig-29, SU-27.... even vs a F-15c i'm having such a hard time, managing my energie is my prob i guess, i'Ve found a few threads about this but as mentionned, they are from older versions.... What i don't understand is, how i can't folow a F-15c, they keep going full afterburner all the time until i get bingo gingo and keep going vertical loops, when i try to folow, i usualy end up with stalling or always going to 200 KIAS or such... no matter what i try i just can't keep up.... Things are easier in the SU-27, but in the F-15c, damn i can't do nothing if i don't get the upper hand on the merge, controling my energie is so hard :( Any tips?

Didn't really had time to make a search to know if someone has reported it, but as i'm doing a template mission with all modules on both red and blue side i just found out that the Dora is missing from the USAF Agressor list in the ME. EDIT: Just found out that the TF-51D is also missing from the USAF Agressor list.
