I would suggest go with PS3 eye with a IR or LED clip and use FTNoIR( FacetrackNoIR) with PointTracker 1.1 as tracker. You will be amazed with the result.

Zoom is useful in combat but not realistic. But you can't see ground targets without zooming while leaning is realistic and more challenging in combat.

I am using TRACKIR_Z (z-axis) as zoom in A-10c and Huey and use lean forward/backward in all of FC3 jets. I use shift z-axis for lean forward / Backward in A-10c and Huey and use mouse scroll for zoom in FC3 module. My question is What you people prefer. Which is the best, using z-aixs for zoom or leaning forward/backward. This question is for all those who are using any tracker (TrackIR, FTNoIR, FreeTrack) etc. BTW I am using FTNoIR with 3 point clip and PS3 eye. Which works for me very well. Thx guys T-Rex (multiplayer nick):thumbup: Edit After a lot of different solutions finally I found a really nice working solution for both leaning and zooming both with tracker (TrackIR or FTNoIR) z-axis. DCS World give your really nice feature which I didn't try before which is modifier with switch/latch option. What i did is Create a modifier with switch option. I used Scroll Lock as switch/Latch modifier as it is not used If you like lean by default then use z-axis for lean without modifier Then create zoom z-axis with modifier that you have created above What is the plus point now you just toggle scroll lock button which will switch your z-axis to either zoom or lean. Note: This technique don't interfere with your other controls that you set on HOTAS. I tested it with Huey

If you are flying a-10c or Black Shark 2 then i would suggest download DCS Manager on your tablet or even on your smart phone. It has the best checklist for every thing which are clickable and in sequence. Checklists of startup to weapons delivery are there. You can download andriod version from here. I hope this will help you

lol in which heli or aircraft? If in a-10c you can use space for gun fire and alt + space for release if i am not wrong :p

Yes I also read some where, I don't remember exactly but i heard AVIA is using Version 3 and upcoming EDGE is version 4. It means upcoming EDGE is more improved. Correct me if i am wrong

It is because you didn't deleted every thing. The serial information is saved in registry. You have to de-activate your cd key if you want to uninstall completely.

Repair your game. I think some of the files are missing. I hope repair will fix your issue. One more thing always attach your joystick and any other device before running DCS World. Other-wise your joystick or device will not function properly

Can you see Ka-50 module in your module manager? If it is not there then you have to install it first.

After i read about OpentTrack I downloaded latest version and tried it. I tried a lot of time to make it use-able but failed. Yaw and Pitch is working nicely but translation is nightmare. When I compare FTNoIR with OT i learn the following things. OT using Accesla mk 4 which is more responsive but not stable when it comes to translation. I tried different settings in OT accesla mk 4, changed rotation and translation settings but not found any settings of my choice One of the issue in OT Open track 1.1 is pitching down axis which is not working properly for me OT OpentTrack 1.1 poor calibration. May be i miss some thing. FTNoIR is better I learnt new thing, Model dimensions are very very important. You must properly set model dimensions OT curve editor is better than FTNoIR as it give you symetry option. In FTNoIR only Pitch axis has separated upper and lower axis. OT give you option to assign axises to of your choice. FTNoIR accela mk 2 is way more stable you can increase responsiveness in accela filter editor There are things that are of personal interest. Well right now i am using FTNoIR + OpenTrack 1.1 + Accela Mk 2 which works for the way i wanted, but i will keep an eye on the upcoming OT version and will try it. I would like some one using OT give us all screen shots of their settings. I mean all of the settings that includes OpentTrack 1.1, Model dimensions, Accela filter etc. An image of actual model would be very nice.

Because the key binding for MFD HUD Repeater on/off is not set in option. They forgot to assign key for HUD repeater. You must set l.ctrl + r manually in option menu.

What i heard/read some where there are toe brakes in latest su-27 in real world. The one we have su-27 in game is older one which don't have toe brakes.

You have separate install for DCS World Open Beta Download Open Beta from here Once the initial setup is downloaded run it. The setup will ask where to install, by default it is C drive path but you can change it. Once you download DCS World open beta then go to module manager and download module which you like to beta test it. Correct me if i am wrong.

Not all the people are able to fly a-10c level. There are more causal players who don't want to go into details. Well i would like to see FC3 jets in full details like a-10c. As some one said we don't have DCS level fighter jets yet.

FTNoIR have rich features. More than one Tracker more than one protocols. You can use 2 different trackers for better result. You can also use network based tracker. It means Tracker is running on another PC. There are the links Download FaceTrackNoIR FTNoIR V170 Download PointTracker version 1.1 See the Manual, Configuration and features here Follow these steps Download FTNoIR v170, Install it Download PointTracker 1.1 from above link Extract PointTracker v1.1 zip and put PointTracker Dll to the root of FaceTrackNoIR(FTNoIr) Run FTNoIR You will see 2 PointTrackers(V1.0 and V1.1) in the list of trackers Select point tracker with version 1.1. You can delete PointTracker V1.0 dll. If you don't want it Now follow the Point tracker info page.
