So what you're saying is, they shouldn't make the F-18 carrier ops game because you can unrealistically land an A-10 on a carrier deck? You don't see how silly that sounds? Make another video where you're able to take off from the launch pads on the carrier with the A-10... Good luck with that :)

Wait a min! Get Repairs??? How the hell did you get repairs???!! I've landed damaged, parked, shut down.. and my plane is still full of bullet holes. How do I repair???

Question, is the same technique used when receive locations from JTAC? For example if JTAC tells me "Tanks on the road from IP ADDAR 17 miles MM3300345" or something like that in the 9 line. Do I switch to OFFSET > (instead of going to BULLSEYE goto IP ADDAR) > Then enter MM3300345 into the pad, and connect MH/DIS? But somehow change the MH/DIS to accept MM... information?

Now we need someone to make a Osama bin Laden mission, I know details are sketchy and an A-10 might not have been involved. But Im sure some of you awesome map makers out there could fit it into a really cool mission! :)

Just fly close to Yankee base, the base will contact you directly and tell you what targets to hit. I can't remember but you might have to reply to them by Communication Key F10

I've never had a problem taking out the tanks because of turbulence. The most I've been effected by is drifting or yawing from either low speeds or weight. But turbulence never kept me from making a tank kill with guns. Maybe I've just been lucky?

This could be a matter of opinion, but I find the heat given off on targets in WHOT and CCD to be a little weak on the TGP. For example When I spot targets in the open, and Im looking at them in WHOT or CCD, their grayscale is extremely close to the patches of grass and dirt around them. As if their engines are off. Like I would not have noticed them if it wasn't for the outline of a vehicle. Now Im not saying they should be very white, like they are when they are burning (obviously because the fire is hot). But they should surely be hotter than a patch of grass. Espeically around the engine area. They should be at LEAST 40 degrees F hotter than the ground around them. This isn't a distance issue either. I could fly over the target area within 5 miles and have to really look hard for the vehicles that aren't destroyed even if they're on the screen. Its like looking for a needle in a haystack even with JTAC. Before you say "Use BHOT instead" Sometimes it helps, most times it doesn't. Like I said, it could be a matter of opinion, but I find it way too weak on the grayscale.

Awesome, that does work!! My only concern is that it moves an existing waypoint, for example my waypoint 3 is now pointing to that location. Is it possible to do this for a Marker so my Waypoints are unaffected?

Im doing a single player mission and I was given the instructions to attack a Launcher reported at "MGRS 38T MN 41135 80457" but I have NO idea how to set a marker at that location. I do know to use Right TMS S on my TAD to set markers, but how do I slew my TAD cursor to that cords. or even know where that cords is??? p.s. This message did not come through JTAC, custom mission.

I've only been playing for a week and I would say I have learned a HUGE chunk. I can successfully, start up, take off, correctly find and ID targets, drop bombs correct, and land. I learned by spending the first two days doing the Training videos and training missions on difficult settings, then practicing actual missions, then turn to the Manual to fill in the information I didn't understand in between. Finally the forums for quick answered that the training mission and manual didn't answer. I swear that was the best and fastest way to learn. Oh, I forgot to mention, Some multiplayer missions say "Training" somewhere in them, I hopped on here last night and used Team Speak to communicate with the people playing, they quickly answered my question and this will help you a lot when you want an instant response.

I've actually noticed the OPs problem as well. Even if I only have 65D's on my wing. The Mav display only displays what looks like BHOT, and the Boat Switches only change the crosshair color from black to white, and doesn't change the actual TV Image at all.

My Markpoints are not displaying in my TAD. I have set my STEERPT to MARK on my AAP, and I have applied Markpoints via TDA by slewing the TAD cursor over a certain area, then TMS Right Short. I see the new waypoints on my CDU, but my TAD has NO graphical elements to tell me where that Markpoint is. What am I missing? Shouldn't it show me where my markpoints are on the TAD by displaying (A-Z) ?

I dont have a throttle system, just as crappy Logitech Attack 3 joystick :( So I guess I'll have to stick with the TIR head forward/back movement.

Ok, My TrackIR comes in today. I hope its as cool as all the hype I've been reading about on this forum, but I trust your judgement because you're geniuses! But I have a question.... In tutorials that I've seen online, its obvious the person is using some form of TrackIR. My question is, How is he zooming into the console so accurately? Is that from TrackIR? For example: If he looks at the left console and wants to zoom in, does he use the mouse or another device for this? Or does trackIR have a zoom in function? Of course I can wait for tonight and find out myself, but if I need to order another component or something, now is the time. :)
