Read back 5 or 6 posts in this thread and you will get the answer but you need to reinstall the full game and try to patch it if you get the 1.1.0.5 patch issue.

Im starting to tire of playing on the same old servers (the non-password protected ones) where there isn't really any teamplay or targets left to pop. I want to fly with a group of people using TS3 for a change rather than the solo online play with a bunch of other solo online players. So are there any english speaking Sqn's or people online (UK/Eu for ping) tonight who have room for one more? PS. Apologies if this isnt the right thread for this kind post :music_whistling:

Manual startup - Can't turn on exterior lights?
SY_KO replied to kingneptune117's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Regarding switching all lights off before entering combat zone.... is it coded that leaving them on will make you more "visable" to the enemy? i.e they can track you from further away. -
Used to work well as an emergency brake in Beta4 too before they fixed weapons safe when weight on wheels. :D

The SP mission "Smerch Hunt" is a good example of in-flight coords execution. This mission uses both UTM and Lat Long Coords to direct you to new targets so its good for practicing manual waypoint creation for both coord types. -
I have attached a track... note this is in single player and I couldn't shear off the nose gear only unfortunately (im sure you will laugh at my attempts bouncing down the runway trying to). I instead settled for crushing nose and main gear and then shutting down for the 3 minutes to let the crew fairies get to work repairing it. End result is the hog is fixed except for the gear so Im still stuck on the runway. Broken all gear VT.trk

I have attached a copy of the profile I use. Like I said before I just made some slight adjustments which I preferred over the original (Jacks I think) but it pretty much keeps you heads up most of the time. Now unfortunately I dont have a pretty picture showing what each assignment is like Strongharms post so you will just have to press each one in SST to see them...maybe Ill do this later if people request it. :music_whistling: My in game stick and throttle settings are for axis only (not including slider = airbrake in SST), which reminds me that I still have a spare one on the stick (rotary around the button E) , all other joystick button assignments have been cleared. Try it out, see what you think and let me know. :D SY_KO X52pro DCS A-10C.zip

Just purchased this morning...impressed (yet, overwhelmed)
SY_KO replied to robnpat's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Active pause is a god send (unless a T-80 is lining you up with a shell) and I have even mapped it to my HOTAS until I get a little more fluid in my processes. -
I dont unfortunately.. will try replicate it.

I have already posted this in the problems thread but I landed heavy (due to limited flight controls) and sheard the nose gear off. I powered down, waited 3mins and sheee-ting (Celebrity Juice.. you got to love it!), I got a nice new shiny planes, no holes or missing panels... just a missing nose gear. "Esc, quit, re-try". Anyone confirm this? Just leave the NWS on above 70knts and twist hit the rudder pedals hard.

Not me... Get my butt kicked enough by the "fun adjuster" for too much time spent on DCS. But on a serious note it may be good for the gau8 and impacts from AA but I've never experienced one to say there any good.

Whilst this thread is discussing this mission and beta4 I noticed last night the mission description in the mission select screen still explains the previous mission. I'm sure it's already sorted for Beta6 but hey ho. Si.

I have exported the keybindings to .xlsx before its physically having a keyboard out line with all the key bindings such as the one that was done for FC 2.0.

A keyboard map would be well handy but I imagine it would be have to be massive with all the different L & R Alt, CTR & SHIFT combos. I still hope someones has been able to make one though..... maybe I'll have ago on my next business trip.

So in bullet points, what happened? :joystick:

I never realised how.... Need to choose the Words carefully... "patriotic(???)" Quebec was. Sounds very anti-English.

Doesnt mean much really..... maybe someone @ ED just has a wierd CVN-70 fetish?? :music_whistling:
