Mechanist and I have commenced work on the Frog. We have decided to make this release something on a complete revamp scale. With every aspect of the Frog A being changed in the way of the skin. As it stands we are in the 70-80% range of completion and that increases daily. Stay tuned!!

New Black Shark screen shots 28 Apr 06

Wow, I know its been said before , but they really should make a Active Total Battlefield. Any of these new ground units comming out could hold its own (and actually are even better than) any armour sim current or forseeable future. (Model wise) Insane, the MLRS cammo pattern is even spot on. -
Thanks for the vote of confidence!! Anyway, guys your in for a real treat, I recieved a incredible template from "Mechanist" he has really went to town. I am very impressed with his ability to hide the faults and limmits of the model so well. I invested almost 10+ man hours just tieing our progress together. I am very happy with the outcome so far. During a storm, I lost my PSU to my main computer last night thanks to God deciding to send a lightning bolt to my house and frying it. (It's cool God, I forgive you). So, I will be unable to work on the skin for a few days. But, rest assured that template is comming and should be completed real soon.

Whoa Kusch, My "Kik A$$" award goes to you for those invaluable links. Most if not all of these particualr aircraft I have only seen in black and white or extreamly small bad quality photos. Great now I have to start all over. LOL Being the fact that with BS release I highly doubt the Su-25 will see any major improvments with model for the Frog A, we will have to really rely on a great skin to dress her up. So I have gone back in and reworked for an even better template from scratch. I will be making as many high quality skins for her as humanly possible. And these links will help immensly. Hats off!!

I believe that wing is already avail. But it does differ greatly from those two in pic. Let me know if the one avail. is not what you guys are looking for , I could do an Eagle up fo ya.

Here's a very early WIP of an Iraqi Su-25K. Blends nicely with ground.

I'm game for a colaboration. Guys I am simply honored be in your company, as you both have offered more for the Frog than anyone. Credit goes to both of you for my inspiration. The template needs finishing. I will be glad to send it to you guys and let you work the real magic. Here are some more pics. With weathering and minor corrections. And underbelly details.

I can provide the skin with/without numbers and will look fine with the LOMAC number and insigs. But, the Peruvian Frog will have to use its own markings.

Here is some of the latest progress reports on my new Su-25 Ultra 2048 template I've been working on. Like I said before the template is based on the already avail template and the Su-39's template. Also here's a new skin almost complete of Red 075 which is a real aircraft, she has had many different paint jobs over her lifetime and this one is kinda a merger of her paint jobs shes worn. I will also be releasing both my Peruvian "Cocaine Killer" and the new template itself. I am happy to add to the community although I will only be workig on the Su-25. I believe the 504th have expressed intrest in hosting. So we shall see. Thanks for the kind words on my progresses. This is only my second skin for Lomac so kinda "winging it". Cheers!

Here's my new skin and the new Ultra 2048 Template I've been working on. Based on the real Red 075 aircraft.

Here's an update on the skin Just to show the community I mean buisness! LOL Here's a teaser of my facelift Ultra 2048 Su-25 Template. Based on the Su-25T and the already incredible but hard to find Su-25 template. I think it breaths new life to the Frog. I am hard at work on (about 70%) on the "Cocain Killer" and will also release the template when complete. Please send any suggestions and I will take into account. Thanks guys cheers!

For all the Frog lubbers out there, here's my ride. FOLLOWING PERU'S acquisition of 18 Su- 25s in late 1998, it has now been confirmed that the aircraft are being used extensively by the Fuerza Aerea del Peru (Peruvian Air Force) in the war against the illegal drugs trade which blights this South American republic's economic and social stability. It may not be generally known that more than 60% of the world's coca plant cultivation is concentrated in Peru, providing the raw material from which cocaine is produced. An indication of the success of using the Frogfoot on anti-drug running patrols is that at least 25 light aircraft transporting cocaine have been shot down, to date, by the Peruvian Su-25s. As stated earlier, the Fuerza Aerea del Peru received ten Su-25 and eight Su-25UB trainers in late 1998, but it was not until the Peruvian Aviation Day celebrations on 23 July of this year at Las Palmas Air Base, Lima-Callao, that the aircraft was revealed publicly for the first time. The 18 aircraft form part of the Grupo Aereo 11, itself part of Ala Aerea N6mero 1 (Air Wing No 1), which is also equipped with the Su-22M2K Fitter-J. After I finish her up, she will be free to good home.

Lock On is slowly but surely vanishing from the radar
STAR_80 replied to a topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Bleak, all I have to say. When 80% of the people playing online are in Migs, 15's and 27's. I hardly see how the KA-50 is going to save this sim. Its down to the deeply dedicated and noobs as it is. And who really knows when BS is even comming. Then the long wait for the Falcon, or Tank killers will begin. It will be in the later part of a decade with LOMAC before we see "Tank killers". Then what?, any of these really going to change the deadness of LOMAC? I doubt not. Oh and mentioned earlier, adding a mulitrole F-15 is going to offset the KA-50? Whatever... The A2A/A2G balance has always been off with LOMAC just like IL2 "Forgotten Bombers". I fly the vannila Su-25 and I'm hear to tell ya its no fun to even try to find a server to even offer the plane online. Much less, a real mission for it. And after 6 months with the KA-50 I'm sure it will be the same. Please , swing kidz dont flame, the forums are already bad enough. I'm just dissapointed This is really an important game to alot of people including myself. -
What is your 3 favorite aircraft.... and why :)

OV-10D Bronco for me. In all its non glamour. -
I'm sorry but that was one of the worst vids, I ever seen. All it made me wonder and question was quality, as this guy could hardly handle the aircraft. Was it becuase the physics are crap, or so adavnce that even the DEVS could hardly handle her. But, after closer inspection I relized it was the horrid song playing in the background that was confusion the individual. Very little attention to what to expect from lighting effects or physics demostration. Weapons employment. And now I will be haunted by that song for at least a week.

So I just finished watching this documentary...
STAR_80 replied to Jason76's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
I watched this too last night. What I really thought was funny (not really funny) was all the Army recruitment comercials they played between the commercial breaks. I bet people were like, Join the Marines/Army ?? **** that! As this was really along the lines of another Black Hawk Down episode. I'm really surprised more of our people didn't get killed as it really was a very bad situation for them. Being on the recieving end of two A-10's, is plenty bad. -
http://www.aviation.ru/www.rusarm.ru/video/Mi-28.wmv Thing is, the KA-50 will probly see real production with Isreal and Turkey well before, if ever the Mil Mi-28N will see life in Russia.

Yeah seriously. Finally some good news to hit our city other than refugies and Hurricanes. LOL In a city already greatly overcrowded and horribly hot, wet weather. Go Stros! Yeah for H-town

I just spoke with a friend of mine that informed me that the B-58 sn 55-668 was only housed temporaly in Denver for one year. Then was moved to Ft Worth. TX then to get this, Galveston Tx. at the Lone Star Flight Museum http://www.lsfm.org/status_board.html which is only 35 miles from me. OMG its stalking me!! LOL I remembered that they had one of the ejection seats from the hustler on display, and I remember that huge fuel tank that the Hustler carried. That fuel tank is bigger than most fighters. Here photos of it http://www.b-58hustler.com/668.html here at Galveston. Check out the bird strike in second pic http://www.b-58hustler.com/budpict1.html Crazy, I ruined the thread not really even fond of the 58, LOL.

Well, I gonna check to see if its still there. Was in 98'. Thanks Iguana

Hey IguanaKing, Do you by any chance know if the Air Museum in Denver is still open? They have a Hustler there, or they did at least. Thought I would take my son there.
