    Happened to two of us online the other day. The laser was used for no longer than 10 minutes of firing 1 hour into a mission. Laser would then only fire for 1 second at a time then turn off.

    After going through the effort of setting some external MFDs up, I have also found this issue. It makes the moving map and LDP much harder to use. Video link below

    Hi guys, I've just set up external mfd exports myself on a second monitor. At first, I thought maybe my 2nd screen brightness was just poor, but after switching between cockpit and external views something renders differently with them? Like everyone else in this post the night setting is pretty much unusable, it's so dark. The link below shows the brightness when views are switched. Is this an F-18 bug or a DCS Engine bug?

    Hi Home Fries, thanks for getting back to me. After messing about with several of my aircraft, it now seems that any operation of the trim switch seems to leave the shift key latched on until I operate S3 again. Is this normal behaviour? An example is, if I try to trim the F-18 or F-16 then go to use my FOV zoom slider it doesn't react, I then operate S3 once, and now it works again no problem? My hardware is TrackIR 5 with Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + TFRP Rudder Pedals Here is a link to my DCS_World.tmc

    Hi, I've just started using CTS with the F-18 and all seems to be working as advertised except for the trim switch. It seems to require two operations in the same direction to operate as trim then afterward it's like S3 is stuck on with all my other switch operations until I push S3 once more. Edit: After reading up on the F-18 it seems that the trim is much slower to operate than other aircraft so this might not be an issue with the profile... I still have issues sometimes with the controls going into a shifted mode and require the operation of the S3 switch to come out of that mode. The layout seems the same on the AV8B but I never have this issue with the trim switch operation. Any thoughts? Also, I use Track IR so I have no desire to use the H1 Trim switch for FOV is there a way to have it set up for Trim only rather than Trim or FOV. Thanks

    I had to set my global No. of Thrustermaster MFD's to -1 this has now allowed me to switch profiles using my hotas. I didn't think to change it to this as it says not to change it to -1 unless troubleshooting. Now using the SU-27/33 Profile with the WH reference sheet it refers to a dogfight switch for the /U/M/D operation, which switch is this on the Warthog as I can't seem to find the switch labelled anywhere?

    Ok thanks Home Fries. I've now managed to figure out how to select the profile I want to have as my default for the initial launch, which in turn fixed my problem with the SU-33. I've attempted to try and understand the profile switching in-game but fail to see it change to another aircraft in the target software. Maybe I'm miss understanding the button selections what is meant by SPDB? Is it the speed brake switch on the throttle? Do I hold that and the S3 (NWS button) for 2 seconds? Is there any indication anywhere to tell me I'm in the profile selection mode? I've read through the Html reference and have the diagram for the buttons to change and select aircraft I just think I'm somehow not getting to the profile selection mode in the first place. Thanks again for your help. Once I finally figure this out I might not need to bother you again :D

    Another question for you Home Fries. I've just added Su-33 to my installed aircraft on the CTS launcher and built the script, now when I push the play button the target software gives me audio cues telling me AV-8B initiated is this correct? I have tried deselecting AV-8B and just building the script with SU33 selected with no change in behaviour. Now I made sure to load the latest Su33 diff.lua files for their respective categories and add the 3 buttons to modifiers now most button selections work but the hook lower switch fires off flares? Am I missing something completely with changing between profiles in the CTS launcher?

    AV-8B NWS Switch Thanks for getting back to me so soon. I've taken another look and attempted to try all the different version diff.luas for the AV-8B with no success. While I was looking for the diff.luas I noticed a directory in the TARGET Profiles CTS folder called custom LUAs folder, I've now installed those lua's and enabled the variable in the CTS program which seems to have fixed my problem.     AV-8B Profile Apu Start Switch = NWS switch I've been away from DCS for a while and I've come across your great profile software. All seems to work fine apart from the Apu/Start switch which according to the map is the NWS switch, when operating the switch it operates the Anti-Col lights which is already mapped to one of the fuel norm switches. Is there a way I can fix this myself or it something that has to be sorted your end? Kind Regards Jason-118

    I'm pretty sure dirt 3 was released last night at midnight and portal 2 was released on a Monday midnight to, not so strange really. Jason

    I did exactly the same thing mate bought this game learnt most of it using the keyboard and once my x52 pro turned up only took an hour or so to get used to the controls. To be honest you probably won't have grasped much by Wednesday anyway. Bearing in mind I still had a joystick to operate the flying controls.... Have Fun Jason

    Hey i'm new to this game to about a week finally grasping most of it sounds like that your not waiting for the cdu to ground align basically when you turn the two switches below the cdu on it will start to align on the ground as long as you dont move once ready on the cdu or mfcd screen "ins ready" should flash near the top of the mfcd then you must click nav and your map should appear. P.S There should be a number counting up during the align starting at 0.1 once it gets to around 4.0 it should be ready just keep an eye out for flashing text in the cdu display. Jason
