  1. lol yes, I know ... now right, got confused - actually there was couple of similar answers here
  2. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=76062
  3. Yes, I watched the track, you took mavs sensor and slewed it with tgp control - so you got your answer then?
  4. Have you done complete alignment, where the CDU says 4.0.0.8 and then pressed "NAV"?
  5. Any word from Pentagon according your intrusion to their servers?
  6. Sure you can set moving vehicle to SPI point track and shoot mav which tracks it - SPI don't move, the vehicle moves..
  7. Isn't that little too much to make master caution scream during that start-up sequence, when nothing is actually wrong?. Master caution is afterall master caution and it's meant to tell pilot something's wrong.
  8. That's more like it hobnail, unless the crackling sound travels faster than speed of sound lol
  9. There no emergency channel in radio or anything, with belly landings you're better off going to runway, so don't flip so easily - and gently please, who's gonna pay the repairs?
  10. Here's the radio command menu fix. 1) Unlock the maximum string length: within ...Games\DCS A-10C\Scripts\UI\CommandMenu.lua, search for and change local menuItemMaxLength from 26 to 100; this is the cutoff length where it uses (...) 2) Change the radio dialog size within ...Games\DCS A-10C\FUI\Resources\Radio\menu.res, make the two changes, (reduce existing number by 300, this will extend the dialog left by 300 pixels). \dialog \begin \tag{-1} \coord{0, 10, 1024, 300} \color{50, 50, 50, 50} \musthavecursor{0} \drawitself{0} \acceptmouse{0} \fixedposition{0} \dontinflate{4} \onmainview{4} \layer{1000} \bordercolor{255, 255, 255, 255} \hasborder{0} \end \static \begin \tag{2} \coord{ 502 , 25, 1024, 40} ---------- CHANGE HERE TO 502 \color{200, 200, 200, 50} \drawitself{0} \fonttype{font_arial_13} \fontcolor{255, 255, 255, 255} \alignmentleft \caption{} \end \multicolumnlistbox \begin \tag{3} \coord{ 500 , 50, 1024, 300} ------------ CHANGE HERE TO 500 \defaultitem{Radio/command_list_box_item.res} \columnswidth{224} \marker1{Radio/command_list_marker.res} \bordercolor{255, 255, 255, 255} \visiblescrollbar{0} \hasborder{0} \readonly{0} \end
  11. Find DCS.exe and check it's properties, then you know game version.
  12. Most of those who say Steam sucks, probably don't even use it or haven't ever. That other comment there earlier was most likely because he had heard it somewhere and thought it's cool thing to say
  13. "Another useful thing is to maintain a skeleton mod folder that replicates the games file structure but only contains the modified files. When you do a new install or even a patch you just copy that entire directory structure onto/into the install folder and you are done." That's how I do it
  14. Yea... hmmm. trks are very small files, so if you have some cool track and it doesn't work now. Save it and pray that "trk reader" gets unbugged and they work later on - that is in case trk ok - but reading the data is broken
  15. If you mean HOTAS Warthogs slewing, it moves diagonally when two directions are pressed at same time by default, there just isn't buttons to configure
  16. Just say it's important device and increases your health - it'll be ok
  17. I meant list of file names, I don't know in which file each of those settings are
  18. Would it be possible to get a list of files which will change with patch 1.1.0.9? When people have modded and replaced textures it would be good to know the replaced files.
  19. If your refrain from clicking on everything that pops under your pointer, you won't plague your system. I think that's the internet security tip #1 of all time Too bad people keep clicking when they see "You Just WON a MILLION - Click Here To Get It" - buttons Well it's all about money, so - wouldn't be surprising if AV software companies had as much virus writers as virus killer coders at work...
  20. "AVG freeness edition Disabled it and wow my load times went down by 5 minutes Sods law though. The day I fixed the Anti Virus problem was the same day I bought an SSD and the patch 1.1.0.8 was released" Good you found solution, you can also try excluding all your game directories from scanning, if that doesn't help problem is somewhere deeper in Win services or sum then - but AVG is good free prog AV. Actually surprised it did that to you. (Game opens many zip files when loading mission, quess what AV is doing meanwhile)
  21. The 'me' in game shows nice auto-AI - In my mission I took some targets out and then landed at Sukhumi. When I watched the track, 'me' showed extraordinary uber AI, he left 2 targets unkilled (I killed all enemies) and he even contacted some other airport and called inbound, nice! Tho he then crashed to ground...
  22. they dont work. I have atm background my 2.5 hr mission cause I wanna record last part, but I can't speed up the replay, so it's background... playing with itself..

  24. This quite much covers the worst part using JTAC "JTAC doesn't inform you of new threats, absolutely does not give you up to date information on moving targets and only tells you where they were when you asked no matter how long ago that was (SERIOUSLY?!), and could really stand to give better information in general" "Just tried to play a big random-gen mission tonight, got frustrated by JTAC (well actually 2 A-10s setup as AFACs) giving me targets but not updating on their position. The units move quite quickly so by the time they are finished giving their 9-line they have moved away. This is starting to get frustrating now. Report BDA is broken and does not work, and the JTAC are just not dynamic enough to update you with the intel on their own." "I agree 100%. I have turned off all labels and have now only just started using JTAC in my missions and I've quickly found out how useless they can be when attacking anything other than static targets. Technically JTAC is supposed to have a function of updating us of the target's status (Report BDA) but I can't seem to get it to work at all." "...also agree with you Phazon, that JTAC should inform, if the target has left the original spot, and most probably does IRL, don't you think? I haven't ever got report BDA do anything, no answer nothing, so moving targets + JTAC = no match"
