You may be right but the AG Target worked fine for me until the last update.. Uncaging only seems to change the Maverick seeker screen. I'll give it a go though, thanks!.

Hi, thanks for the reply. It's Point Track in TPOD. I'm loading the same single-player mission I've done a hundred times except this time it will not track the moving Tunguskas or tanks. However, it does sometimes track later on after I've pressed every button and option for 15 minutes. My usual procedure: - ARM - AG - TPOD - ARMED/LASER - located targets - NARROW FOV - positioned reticle over individual target - and it always locked on automatically within a certain range. Now the reticle stays where I leave it as if it's not registering the target. Has the operation sequence changed slightly in your experience? Changes since last working: Installed latest update. Installed the rest of my modules, Campaigns, etc. I tried to install the Staraway Mod using OvGME - didn't work so I deleted the mod and repaired my game files. I have no other mods installed. You can also change the Code in on the EHSD (Moving map) when in Air to Ground mode. It's the top left button.

Hi, Yep , once you have fired it will not reset automatically.. Just cycle through deselect/Gun/Sidearm until search tone is constant Also; Ensure the IR cool switch is on..

The guy who I borrowed the set from told me it just takes a bit of getting used to - I'm used to near 4k detail on a curved 21:9 so it's probably just the culture shock - forward to the past - :) Big Apple Buddy are quoting the Odyssey at $400 but are a little vague on import duties etc, quoting $80 to UK plus $50 service charge - which I think would be reasonable at roughly £400 GBP all-in. The hype around the new Oculus is tempting though. I just wish they had a definitive date.

Hi, I've just borrowed an Oculus DK2 from a friend and have blown away by the immersion in VR even with the low native resolution (I usually sim in 21:9 at 3440x1440 and thought that was good!).. After doing a bit of research I'm now considering buying an Odyssey but can't seem to find a UK supplier.. Anyone have any decent links?.. Thanks.

Hi BIGNEWY, You've been very patient and I appreciate it. I'm sorry to say it still won't work. I tried the help in your signature - i.e. Repair and cleanup in the Powershell, but it keeps coming back with error messages and not doing either. Likewise with the Skate utility which will not give me any options. Would it be worth deleting the whole OpenBeta folder and re-installing via website?.. Lol - all I did was delete a couple of dashes and then put them back!.. :surrender:

Think the problem is that I tried to follow this tutorial - and took out the two dashes as shown. It didn't work so I reinserted the dashes but now it doesn't load past the splash.. I guess I should have saved a copy of the file.. :(

Hi all, I updated DCS with auto-updater last night and afterwards the game started up with no issues.. Go to bed, wake up and try to start game again but just getting a black screen, as if the game is trying to launch but not getting past the splash screen. Anybody else having this problem?. Or found a solution?. Thanks.

Hi, thanks for the reply.. Yes, I did read that on another thread but the updater usually updates from the launch icon - it's not doing that for some reason.. It is just starting the sim as normal as version 2.5.1.. I've looked in 'game' folder for another update launcher without success.
