  1. Hi Again Artur, 1. From time to time I see the panels don't interact with DCS for some reason, mainly on MP, and sometimes they need several restarts (all export options enabled in MP). I haven't found a repeatable scenario yet. Is there a certain recommended procedure/sequence to start up the right way? 2. A new feature idea if you like it... : In the BIP Panel, add an option of "blink" to the led configuration, with the time interval wanted i.e. "Blink" - Enabled, "Interval" 0.5 seconds. for example I would like to have the "Speed Brakes" to blink on and off to attract my attention, (although I know it is not suppose to blink in DCS). The time interval can be left open to fill, or just a preset of few selectable times , i.e : Default action is Disabled , and pressing it will open a drop down menu to select a few time intervals 0.3 , 0.5, 0.7, 1 , 1.5 , 2 sec ) Even without it - It is a great program!! :) Thank you Artur!
  2. Thsnks. Got it from soundcloud
  3. Hi, I would like to replace the default menu music for DCS with the L-39, since I don't own the module - I need the music files if someone can upload them please. Or maybe there's a mod to replace it already (I couldn't find one)... Thanks!
  4. Hi, I have 3 monitors in surround, and I need some extra zoom out option the have a wider field of view. In the past, editing the sever.lua file inside the config folder worked fine, (using Peter P. files) But a few months and patches ago it stopped working. Is there an alternative way to have a wider fov in fc3 planes, and in general in DCS? Thsnks!
  5. Well that was quick!! :) And works well and as intended!! Big thank you for this and your quick responses!  Ron
  6. 1. Regarding BIP and HUD - no, but I don't know if it can be sorted here... In the A-10C whenever I switch ON the autopilot (control id "LASTE_AP_TOGGLE") I wanted the BIP light to turn ON (an indication of the auto pilot ON - is seen in the hud), and OFF when auto pilot is disengaged, but since it's not a switch , rather a push button, it lights briefly when I press the auto pilot engage button, and then it switches OFF immediately, since the button returns to its position. is there a way to keep it ON while auto pilot is still engaged? 2. Regarding the clone thing, I wanted to clone control id's and then edit them. it's in this window for example, in addition to "edit/delete'. add 'clone' button , so I can select a line and 'clone' it, then edit it: but I realize now that you cannot edit the BIP color anyway. If you could also edit the color - then it would be useful to clone a 'control Id' and just change the 'color' and 'value', for example DARK "GEAR_N_SAFE" -> select it here and press clone, which will add the same control ID and values below, and now change color from DARK to GREEN and value 0 from 1 ... saving the time to look for it in the controls again. Saying that, I see how it might be a feature too big and risky to change... Maybe if you are too bored sometime :) .... Thank you for your excellent support!! Regards, Ron
  7. Well Done sir! Editing works fine now! Many thanks!
  8. Good to see you back! :) I've tried it right now and unfortunately it still does not save the edit. To be clear - I'm talking about the PZ55 switch panel. In The BIP panel it works fine. ( I have no other panles to test with) Steps description: 1. Right click "Edit DCS-BIOS Control" 2. Create a new control and name it. press OK. 3. Pressing Save on the disk icon and refresh it. (all ok up to here) 4. Go back to the command by right click "Edit DCS-BIOS Control" 5. Edit the value for instance or even the description of the command. press OK. 6. Press Save on the disk icon. Result: The command is deleted. I have to run the process all over again just to change a value or rename the description. and If it's a multiple command button... :( ... please also see my previous remark on adding a 'clone' or 'copy' option in addition to the "new/ edit /delete" options, if possible, as this would save time when you program 2 values for the same command, especially in BIP, for dark/red light for example... Many Thanks!! Ron
  9. I got myself a BIP now :) ... I'm trying to configure it with the A-10C now (later on the F-18 etc...) It seems I can't really program an Auto Pilot light to stay on and/or turn off when I switch it off - [Laste AP toggle] button. I know it's not on the warning panel but in the HUD. how can I program it correctly? Thanks! EDIT: Suggestion... I think a "clone" feature for a configuration could be useful, like when you want to define Red light ON trigger, and Dark trigger for the same control.
  10. @Bad CrC - thank you for the clear explanation, got it now ;) @ArturDCS - thanks for your work! hope you'll get your computer asap! I will be waiting for your findings... :) Cheers, Ron
  11. Hi again, I have played a bit with DCS BIOS for the Sync purpose, and did not see it really synced... for example I have changed the pitot heat to OFF and formation lights to ON, then I took a hot plane on the runway and those controls were not synced (pitot was ON and Formation OFF as expected in a hot plane). I've tried to change one button (pitot) to get the program running and "syncing" the rest of the buttons maybe - but it did not move to sync to my buttons. Am I doing something wrong or I miss understood it?? p.s. whenever I edit a button it is actually deleted when I save and try to refresh... seems no real editing is possible, only delete the command and start over. maybe it's a known issue... Thanks!
  12. It is not in the user folder, it's in the monitors lua files under : \Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Config\MonitorSetup Constraining the GUI viewport to the center screen (on 3 monitors/surround configuration as Drakoz said earlier) causes this issue, which didn't happen before this release... ! so yes , ED did do something here... So my workaround for now is to change the GUI viewport resolution to be the SAME as the 3 monitors combined (now 6000x1200 for my screens with BC). Now I can see the controller menus back. you can also delete the GUI viewport parameters, so DCS will run on the "Center" screen parameters which is normally the sum of 3 monitors in multi monitors pc. Problem is now the GUI is spread across 3 screens which is highly uncomfortable. The splash screen when running DCS which is also spread across part of the 3 screens indicates this problem. I hope ED will solve it and fix it soon.
  13. Hi, I have the switch panel only atm, I would like to understand why/when should I use key emulator or dcs bios method? Pros and cons... When switching aircrafts within DCS , will the appropriate profile auto load? or should I alt tab and select it manually? Many thanks!
  14. Thank you very much for your hard work!! I wish you could put some side by side pictures to compare and highlight the changes you made, I'm not sure I've installed correctly and don't know if what I see is the your mod or not.... :( Thanks!!
  15. ok, thanks!
  16. Hi, Is it possible to keep the UFC lights always enabled after selection? currently they turn off after a short time of selecting anything, for example Auto pilot settings etc. Or is this the only realistic behavior of the UFC? Thanks!
  17. ED (or representatives/moderator), Some sort of acknowledgment of the problem would be real nice here. is it known/unknown/wont bother issue?.... many threads like this are left orphaned and problems are left for years later... Thanks! Ron
  18. Sorry to necro this thread... Since I see there is no treatment by ED to CA with 3 monitors, what is the current way to get CA to work properly with 3 surround monitors and 1 extra monitor please? 6000x1200 (with bezel correction) I was not able to implement the last post instructions to fix this... thanks!
  19. +1 same problem on second monitor (actually 4th after 3 in surround). always close to the ground with some light reflections. Is it acknowledged by ED?? (Good thing they have that epilepsy warning ehh...? :) )
  20. bump... How do you edit the huey FOV to suit 3 monitors? I need to further zoom out. Editing the server.lua in the saved games\config\view did not help... Editing the view.lua AFTER copying and pasting into saved games, from the DCS World \Mods\aircraft\Uh-1H also did not help. 2.5 changed/broke the way I can control the FOV, and I could not find an explanation on how to do it now. Help appreciated.... Thanks!
  21. Well, I'm a bit frustrated now... I can't seem to change the FOV via the old way... I used to edit the server.lua file - which is now in saved games folder for IC reasons, and it does not seem to affect... I've tried editing DCS planes like the Uh-1h also in saved games under their corresponding path in the original DCS folder , i.e. Saved Games\DCS\Mods\Aircraft\UH-1H\view.lua still does not work... I use 3 monitors and I'm too close to the screen, I need to zoom out a bit which now DCS wont allow me... Help needed please. Thanks!!
