I didn't follow - I'm having the same problem with IC on servers, when editing this file: ViewportHandling.lua from here: DCS folder\Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common\Cockpit\ which files are you placing exactly, and how can you move the location of the kneeboard around so you can join servers with IC? Thanks!

  4. Hi, I was messing with the kneeboard size and position manually and it worked fine, until IC was introduced and now I get Integrity Check false... Then I saw Kneebaord Builder... does the Kneeboard Builder handles another file which passes the IC checks?? where is it if so?? I change this file: DCS folder, Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common\Cockpit\ViewportHandling.lua the line I edit is this (line 33) dedicated_viewport = {default_x,default_y,default_width,default_height} to this dedicated_viewport = {5000,2,950,1150} Many Thanks!
  5. Hi all, I'm getting inconsistent IC results when changing the kneeboard view location and size. Since I'm using 3 main monitors at surround, and an extra smaller monitor for MFD export, the kneebaord is displayed half cut and not workable on the forth smaller monitor. (total resolution of 7360X1200 pixles. 6000 for 3 monitors with bezel correction and 1360 for the auxiliary monitor.) Therefore I've seen you can edit the location and size of the kneeboard to any location, and I did. The file is located at DCS folder Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common\Cockpit\ViewportHandling.lua the line I edit is this (line 33) dedicated_viewport = {default_x,default_y,default_width,default_height} to this dedicated_viewport = {5000,2,950,1150} as you can see the edit is only inside the brackets. This way the kneebaord opens on the right side of the main screen and not on the forth screen. most of the time the IC is green, i.e Passed. Sometimes I get red IC ... and even worse - while connected to an IC server as green , and after a few minutes - it kicks me out for IC check. Is this a known phenomena? Is this lua line not meant for editing inside the brackets and get some minimum flexibility like adjusting the kneeboard location? no cheat here I think... Is there a better and easier solution to move the kneeboard around? Thanks!
  6. Thanks Mainstay, For now I will avoid the upgrade again (if it's not broken - I won't try to fix it ...) and stay with the old build until Microsoft will force shove it. hopefully it will be fixed by then. Will try your suggestions if it happens afterwards again. Cheers! Ron

Thank you all for your replies, but as I wrote, I have removed the Xbox app - which didn't help, I did not install the Nvidia Geforce Experience in the first place, After the upgrade I already had an older Nvidia driver, which showed low FPS , upgrading it to newer driver did not help. Only rolling back from the Win10 upgrade - helped... Still lost here. For now I can hold the upgrade off until more info is found. please keep your ideas coming... Thanks!
  9. Hi all, After the latest Windows 10 anniversary update, my FPS dropped in half. Can't get above 30 FPS no matter what. I read about the Xbox App that records DVR - and I disabled it and even removed it all together. Latest Nvidia driver (GTX 1060) didn't help. removing all mods and doing "Repair" to DCS - didn't help. Rolling back to previous windows build - HELPED... FPS back to normal. So for now I avoid this upgrade, but for long can I avoid it?.... Is there another solution to this problem besides the Xbox DVR issue?? Thanks!

  11. Hi and thank you for the great work you have done! We use it all the time at the IAF virtual squadrons and like it allot:) I was wondering if you are planning on an emergency radio for ejected pilots? (Didn't go through the whole thread if it was already discussed) Right after you eject there is no way to communicate other than open the TS again and hoping someone is listening... It could be further developed into an emergency radio location beacon for SAR missions as well, on which enemy forces can home in to and try and capture the ejected pilot POW based on his beacon transmissions if he is not careful,as IRL, and create more possible mini side missions. Just a thought :) . .

In relation to this thread here, unfortunately closed so soon, http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=172542 SithSpawn has said "You need to contact the makers of the mod, this isnt an ED issue" yet it happens also in Red Flag campaign by ED itself. you have to remove re-shade or the campaign fails to start. So I guess it's ED's issue as well, or was to begin with. It would be nice to allow us to play with re-shade, campaign or not.... Cheers...

  14. +1 same issue here. the file/value that is edited is DCS World\Mods\aircraft\MIG-21bis\Entry\03_Views.lua line 10: CameraViewAngleLimits = { 30.0, 105.0 }, changing FOV limit 105 to 150. can't pass IC.... but its a must have for triple monitors guys.
  15. Is simultaneous multi projection by Nvidia's new pascal GPU's are supposed to be supported in DCS? [ame] [/ame] I understand that it is not supported out of the box, and the dev's need to support it. Well..DCS most definitely should support it , for VR and triple monitors...

  17. same here, 1.5.4 took out peter_p settings... any one knows how to fix? I'm having neck problems again trying to look around and press buttons in my A10-C cockpit...
  18. Hi, Thanks for this mod! In 1.5.4 though - it blocks the options menu in MP. you cannot edit the controls for example with this mod enabled. Are you planning on a new version maybe? Cheers!
  19. here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2834884&postcount=1130 you can replace the shadows.lua file in the mod with the original (disable the mod and take the original file from \Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Config\Effects ) , or delete Starway's shadows.lua file from the mod (and the original will take over automatically in the game) It then passes IC. Good luck!

DCS crash 20-30 minutes into the missions Hi, We are trying to fly this mini campaign which looks really great! but 20-30 minutes into the first mission we get a dcs crash. happened several times to several people, also on the other missions :cry: DCS/1.5.3.53279 I've attached the crash log in the spoiler (first mission) we'd love it if you can try to fix it, if possible.:helpsmilie: Many thanks! :thumbup: crash log:
  21. Thanks for the upload! I've merged your files with/over Starway's buildings and terrain and it seems fine to me. It does change the affected buildings texture but the trade off is worth it in my mind, since I mainly spend my time in the air and not on the ground - the addition of color from above is a welcome one. The best case scenario is that Starway will produce colored roof tops over his hi-res textures.... (I've asked him to, and was was positive about it. well, at least generally positive about optimizations...) Cheers!
  22. @Kobac, Would you link only the files you've changed, and not the entire"Building textures" folder, since it overwrites/replaces Starway's Building texture, and wish to merge them, i.e. Starways building textures with your colored roofs (and those files only). Is it possible? Many thanks!
  23. Increase draw distance? Thank you for this mod! :thumbup: It adds needed realism to the muted gray unrealistic cities... The problem is that I see the roofs turn red/blue gradually...only below 5500 ft' and closer, like a bubble around me, if I look top down. it's way too close and an immersion killer... how can I increase the draw distance?? I've tried messing with my graphic settings and maximize it, but it did not change. Another thing, if the roofs could be somewhat weathered (dirt/leaves) it could look even more real. Thanks again!

Hi, (posted it in the mods thread but it's related here) AFTER a vehicle is destroyed - it is much more observable in the A-10C TGP for example, as it should , and as in in real life (textures are brighter/darker and behave closer to real TGP visibility). Can some "destroyed" textures be somehow "adapted" / merged into the normal textures to make the vehicles more visible to TGP at least?? making the vehicle look intact before real destruction, but more visible with those added/altered textures in TGP? What is actually changed in the destroyed textures to make them look brighter, or have more contrast through TGP, but not to the naked (simulated) eye?? maybe this could be a partial solution the the terrible and wrong TGP spotting abilities?? Thanks!
