When I TMS up long to designate SPI, where can I look to confirm that has happened? I dont really see a change on my TGP or HUD, maybe something on my TAD I am missing? Thanks!

The Steam Summer Camp sale was really great- legit $40 for DCS A-10c. The other side of that is there will be a ton of stolen gift keys floating around as the Phishing emails to steam users went up about 4000x during the sale.

You know when it's time to take a break from DCS A10-C when..

......when you successfully merge into traffic after a left turn and reach over to "clean up" your car (flaps, gear). -

........When you hear an ERJ fly over your house and wonder if you forgot to close your cockpit before taking off again. -
Yes, I've seen that on standard missions- but I don't see that screen after quitting training missions.
-
Ok, it appears it was user error- but I have some other issues. If I quit a mission I don't see any way to save a track.......so I can't post the track to show why I couldn't complete the training mission. What am I missing? Thanks guys.

I gotta start saving tracks when weirdness happens. Starting.....now! BBIAB is I can replicate.

After slaving the TGP to the TAD SPI any time I switch from wide to narrow it loses the SPI and won't re-sync. I have to re-slew the TAD and designate SPI, then re-slave. Is this correct behavior, or am I missing a step? Thanks guys- starting to dig in and encountering little things like that.

Was there ever a part II of this made?

I installed via Steam on W7 64- are there separate installers for the 32 and 64 versions of the sim? I wasn't given any choice.....

Few quick Questions (TAD, Radar Altimeter, Input Curves)

Excellent, thanks. -
Hey gang- I have the TM WH HOTAS- so any hands on controls for this are great. Once I get the MFD to the TAD and set it as SOI, how to I add the graphical background? I RTFM, but I don't yet speak complicascious fluently. Also, how do I get the HUD to show me the Radar Altitude? Thanks guys. After much issues I finally got Windows running on my machine and got some seat time last night- wow! I also nailed my first visual approach landing. The A-10 in this game handles wonderfully. All those hours spent in X-Plane landing everything imaginable apparently paid off- but having a real HOTAS helped tremendously for easy and predictable input. I have the curves set to about 30 right now- does that sound about right? Gotta nail that level turn this afternoon- thats one thing I havent really concentrated on before. I just kind of "winged it"

Te default mapping on my WH HOTAS had view assigned to the main hat stitches. I replaced these with trim and was hoping to use the mouse as my head until i get my track ir. It only seemed to be a point and click device though. Are there any other options to navigate the cabin quickly besides using the number keys?

I've got a pile of high end headphones, and would prefer just to repurpose one of those for MP. Can anyone recommend a good mic that won't interfere with a TrackClip Pro?
-
How much "play" do you guys have in your combat pedals (when transitioning from one direction to the other, or returning to neutral)?
-
Download and use all you want. I edited it from a public licensed NASA image.

Woohoo! I have Tracking Numbers!

Yeah, I know I can go with the dispute process, just bummed. I'm going to give him a call on Tuesday before I start filing paperwork and such. He'd been a stand up guy up till then. I still think something has happened, as this doesnt seem to fit.

Thanks guys.

Can you see which post got the negative reputation, as well as who left it? *edit* Never mind, found it. Same guy who was hassling me in PM's leaving pointless negative rep. "You have a problem and I hope you fix it." on a post about trimming an aircraft. Jeez *rolls eyes*

Havent heard from the seller since I paid. Not returning messages or emails. :( If it's too good to be true........it probably is. Hoping he's just busy. Watched the UPS truck drive right by today.

I can't seem to find a link to block a user from sending you PM's. Someone took offense to me leaving them negative karma and decided to get personal.
-
Ok, thanks. Just my inexperience then.

In xplane I neutralize my trim in both axes (axis'?) before any aerobatic maneuvers. This is accomplished with a mapping to one of my joystick buttons. I have not had a CFS since.......it's been a long time, and I was too young to really take it seriously. How does one proceed coming from Straight and Level flight to a condition conducive to aerobatic or combat maneuvering? Use a keyboard shortcut for takeoff trim for both axis? In the various tutorial videos I don't see the authors addressing this as they transition from S&LF to approaches or other maneuvers. Thanks!
