  1. Couple of things come to mind. 1. Make sure your AV is either set in game mode or turned off 2. Move your page file over to a secondary drive. 3. Use msconfig and kill everything in startup that isn't absolutely needed 4. Think about disabling Windows Search service as it usually chooses the most inopportune time to index.
  2. Quick question does create fast missions no longer work? I click on it and nothing happens, everything else is seemingly functional I've run the updater and I've done the repair but that function no longer works. This is a complete fresh install of dcs Anyone have any idea's Regards
  3. Try plugging it into a different USB port mine did the same thing and it solved it for me, I understand the rest of the stick works but if it was like mine changing the port corrected the issue
  4. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here but at at 105 knots you're already in a stall and you compounded it by your high AOA, sounds to like you literately fell out of the sky and damaged your gear from the fall, that speed is doable but its has to be right at the moment of touch down flaring at the last moment before your wheels touch tricky at best.
  5. I changed my TrackIR to use Shift +F keys to avoid the conflict it works well like that.
  6. Ill see if I can get it to do it again and save the track so far I haven't been able to figure out what sequence of events that causes it. Pressing and holding the buttons does nothing nor does simply pressing them once it get's into that mode. :helpsmilie: is this yellow banner a real failure or part of the simulation? it would help to know which side the problem is on.
  7. Ya went through not only both cougar MFD's and both screen MFD buttons and everything works fine with no indication of a problem that's what I don't get there is no indication that this is a Hardware issue. I've done everything I can to find the error on which ever side its on. Given the yellow banner that pop's up on both screens mfd's it appears its a sim issue but I'm not at all sure.
  8. Ya Random failures are off both mfds work great, I've had this happen three times now, I've gone so far as to land and cycle everything off do a complete restart the banner is still there. The only way I've found is to shut the sim down and restart it. My question is this a real malfunction being reported in game or a sim malfunction?
  9. On occasion I get a yellow banner across both left and right MFD's telling me "Stuck Left MFD Key" I haven't found a solution to correct it anyone have any suggestions?
  10. :joystick: Seems like every time I set it down firmly I'm paying for new tires :pilotfly:
  11. As you come in on the final leg drop your gear at around 150 IAS, by the time you're over the end of the ramp you should be between 128 and 142 IAS remember to fly the aircraft down don't let it drop out of the sky flair longer if you need to, remember soft landing. At touch down open your speed brakes 100% takes a bit of practice and becomes second nature after awhile. I personally enjoy landing the most try touch and goes for awhile to get familiar with landing.
  12. Couple of times now I've lost and engine while lifting off maybe 80 feet up way past the point of setting her back down. First thing I do is level off and pop the extinguisher, jettison the weapons, pull in flaps and gear. I have yet to be able to save the bird is there something more that I can do to at least get a go around or is it just fait accompli.
  13. Its a lot easier to just use the CDU for that rather then the hud
  14. For many it is not an issue with the Aircraft ED does such awesome work no matter what air frame they choose its going to be wicked cool. The issue as most see it is very simple, taking a WWII aircraft and putting it into a modern day threat environment as I understand it there will be no modeling or adjustment made to the environment to better fit the Air frame to the correct time line and threat environment. Its going to be wonderful having all these flying chaff clouds soaking up all the sam's make my job one heck of a lot easier getting into and staying in the aor.
  15. Thank you that was the information I was looking for.
