You dont need to shut down the engines to complete 100%. The mi-24 will land by itself and you dont need to use communications in any case to get 100% rating. Most important: dont miss out any unit in the groups you are told to destroy. You can check the debriefing to see if you got 100% (rshift + apostrophe). Have fun, Deployment is a really cool campaign!

You can still make your mission the way you want. If the blacksharks have no chance of surviving, the mission is not set up well.

Hi, wouldn't it be great to have a button in the f-10 view to change between lat/long, lat/long decimal and MGRS coordinates? I think it would be because you could easily convert coordinates in game, making it easier to communicate with other aircraft types and as JTAC in CA.

This function enables you to disable aircraft system functions at any time? :O

Today, I've received my refund, I'm sure they are working hard to refund to everybody. Btw, the login problems (also discussed here) seem to be caused by putting something in your cart before you log in. Deleting cookies solves the problem. I think it would be good if somebody takes a look at it. Now excuse me, I have to buy a DCS module;)

+1 You can't expect everybody to first check the forum customer support. I am not worried about getting the code or refund. It's just a pitty to have to wait for the code and ability to play. Today I bought Combined Arms without receiving any codes except Error code 002. I also had the login problems: after login in, all tabs on the left would leave me logged in, except the e-shop tab. I just kept trying login in and out (I'm not going to quit buying something because there were some login problems) finally it worked, I payed by paypal. confirmed the payment, no problems and then bam, a was redirected to the error 002 page. checking the mailbox I got the confirmation from paypal. I opened a ticket sending screenshots from both error and payment confirmation. Both screens are in the attachment

Open your own(bs1) and the default dcsworld profile in notepad ++. Then search(ctrl;F) the lines for collective and trimmer and replace these lines with the default ones. At last you might have to set them up again in the options menu. "program my collective for op/down" I assume you mean inverting the axis. Go to the option/control menu, axis tab. Select your control mapped for collective and go to axis tune(button below list). In the tune menu you can check invert.

A program called "macro express" should be able to do it.

I've got the same problem. Not able to open the communication menu in air. Seems like a bug.

I am sure there has been no beeping in blackshark 1, nor blackshark 2. Since this function reduces you're rpm to about minimum, I would understand the logic of disabling the beeping. Anyways, it's not a big deal.

the ka-50 weapons system is not able to release or fire mavericks. A-10 and ka-50 =2 complete different systems.

I'm not sure what you mean by "if it is not activated, so you can't get into the sim at all" It's pretty strange that these similar problems don't have the same solution. thinking of this, I also did some other things in following order: 1a. activated the serial via mods/aircrafts/a-10c/bin/a-10 protect 1b. tried again with no result 2a. Run exe as administrator 2b. still no result 3a. Deleted the mods/aircrafts/a-10c folder 3b. Reïnstalled the mod with "A-10C_1.2.1.5970" 3c. Result: no exploding plane and no virtual cockpit I don't think it's a ram problem since I could still fly the su-25. Another reason why is that blackshark and p-51d had other problems, which were solved in the same way. I do think this is a starforce problem.

I've had the same transparent cockpit problem with a-10c. I coudn't launch the game in the ka-50, nor the P51. (error window as seen before in this topic) Following solved all: Thank you very much!:)

This seems to be the right topic for my questions: Does mounting a Mk82 or GBU38 on hardpoint 6(the middle one) ever happen in real life? I did spot a default payload in the mission editor, but since there is no option to manually add anything but the fuel tank to it, I wonder. Sense

When starting a mission, you will return to desktop and a screen appears(as we all know) you can find the version in the lower left corner.

Is nobody going to come with the tip: use flares? Once I got a lock on a chopper, I won't let it go. I watch the shkval and laserwarning receiver carefully. meanwhile I fire 2 missiles at it. when I see a missile being fired at me, I wait a couple of seconds and then dispense a lot of flares and move sideways as fast as I can. It mostly works, especially with hinds.

AFAIK: As Far As I Know;) About the Flight director: I always turn it on when the AP wants to put me in a different heading. For example: if you don't want to follow the route, the AP will A. try to get you heading to the waypoint or B. steer you toward the last trimmed position. This makes it difficult to change your heading since the AP will release all forces when you trim(after the turn) making it unprecise. Also I'm pretty much sure it is not meant for Emergency situations(only). So this is how I do it: 1.follows route 2.wants to turn left because of visual on target at 9 o'clock. 3.turns on FD 4.makes turn 5.trims heading to target(no need to use rudder because AP is working against you) 6.turns off FD 7.locks target and engages auto turn to target

I believe AI doesn't see infantry until being engaged by them. This must also be the case with AFACs.

Can help you with one question: 4. Go to multiplayer, settings(under server browser) Also I would not make a server with training as purpose.
