Aliqat, cannot say what's wrong with your installs. I purchased a DVD version a looooooooooong time ago. I still have both the standalone and DCS World version installed on my computer. No problems.

Looks rather slim design to me! Anyway, always big fun to see people custom tweaking their stuff! :thumbup: :)

Me too. But anyway, the "footage" definitely would look more authentic to me if the delay were there, IMHO. But as mentioned, very good video :thumbup:! Maybe a bit fine tuning with sound delays... :)

Nice video! One thing occurred to me: When the helicopter destroys enemy vehicles, I think there should have been a tiny delay of sound. I mean the timing between the visual and audible parts of the explosions. Because of the natural differences between the speed of light and the speed of sound you see the blast first and the sound comes a bit later. Just like with thunderstorm/lightning. Right? What do you think?

You don't have to buy anything. Just download and install DCS World + A-10C module. It will probably find your valid key in the windows registry, maybe asks for activation, just press OK or next or whatever. You can keep your current standalone version, but of course you can uninstall it later if you wanna save hard disc space. DCS World + A-10C module and standalone A-10C are separate products, so they don't mess each other even if you keep both.

^^ They are actually EMER FM & AM. They are used to select the Guard Channel automatically. Not for switching the device from AM Radio to FM Radio, or vice versa, as you already noticed. You could do it for example like this: Lets suppose you see 3 moving tanks (or the cloud of dust behind them). Activate your TGP, look thru the HUD and boresight TGP "diamond" (by pressing China Hat Aft Short). Fly to direction of the tanks so that the diamond will end up close to the targets. Then slew. Now, start flying level and with TGP (I normally use the right MFCD) take a closer look at a tank (zoom in/out if necessary), choose Point Track mode (TMS Up Short, there will be a "box" in the center of the TGP crosshairs (and the tank)) and make tank SPI (TMS Up Long). Then, after having the SPI (= tank), switch right MFCD from TGP to Mav, use China Hat Fwd Long to slave all to SPI (all means also Mav, so Mav will be slaved to SPI as well) -> crosshairs of Maverick magically move onto the tank, and you only need to TMS Up Short to "lock" (if the distance is right), and then just rifle. If you fly steady (you can use autopilot too), you can immediately slew another Mav to the next tank and rifle again. Or, you can switch back to TGP, choose another target, once again make it SPI (with Point Track mode selected) with TMS Up Long, switch MFCD to Mav and slave it to the SPI by China Hat Fwd Long, "lock" and rifle. You must do all this pretty quickly, and at first it is very difficult. But with some training you can launch all your mavericks within a few seconds.
