  1. I'm not an expert, but this gun run by ralfidude looks SO NICE!: :pilotfly:
  2. No problem at all! We all love Junior Members. Junior Members are the Future. Right?
  3. You're right. Between pages 108 and 109 (on my edition).
  4. I think that picture is kinda well-known among many forum members. You can find it in wikipedia as well: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GAU-8_Avenger Anyway, it gives you some perspective of the size of the gun. No question about that.
  5. There may be a "Note" on scratchpad. Cannot tell what happens if there is something because I always clear notes or errors before inputting anything.
  6. Did you try to attach a file? Or add a link?
  7. Can you see the digits "10" in the scratchpad? You could also try using CDU buttons for the input.
  8. Cannot see any link, picture, video or other attachment. :(
  9. With Windows 8 I had this issue with Windows Game Controllers only: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=101832 However, with DCS A-10C I have no problem with throttle. Just wanted to say that what you see in Windows 8 Game Controllers doesn't necessarily tell everything. With Croaker's throttle, I think there might be a loose wire or something else wrong.
  10. I think it is the control system of the video recorder. It is nonfunctional in the sim AFAIK. edit: Googled the exact name of it. It is DVADR REMOTE CONTROL PANEL DVADR means Digital Video Airborne Data Recorder
  11. Is your PSU equipped with On/off switch? Or maybe you could use extension cord with switch?
  12. I've used pro clip all the time. Cannot tell the difference because I haven't even tried the passive reflectors. But pro clip has always been rock solid. No hiccups or "going nuts". Never. It just works.
  13. Speed brakes as well? :music_whistling:
  14. I keep them unlinked. Feels better IMHO.
  15. I skipped some parts of the video, but did you contact the tower?
  16. Some basic stuff/tips: With HOTAS, you don't need Target Software. If you use TrackIR, re-map trim hat to trim instead of view functions. Use joystick pinkie paddle as a modifier. With Saitek pedal toe brakes you have to invert axis.
  17. Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog is Plug and Play with DCS A-10C. You don't have to install Target Software. BUT, AFAIK, with SU-25T you have to manually assign the all buttons you want.
  18. http://en.wiki.eagle.ru/wiki/DCS_A-10C_Guides,_Tutorials_and_Reference_Documents and under Aircraft Systems goto Navigation System Tutorials and watch the videos (especially by Fish). Some videos are quite old and there might be some inaccuracies, but anyway, worth checking.
  19. It's been there, always. Just trust me. :D
  20. IMHO, MAVs are the easiest weapons. Simply Fire And Forget. You just have to know some basic things, but eventually they are very easy to handle.
  21. AFAIK, it's been there all the time. So you must be blind? I wonder if you can see this text. :D
  22. As Rotorhead already mentioned, you don't need pedals very often. But when you need them, you need to have them. You know what I mean. :)
  23. Or on that thing made of plastic, which you can remove. Don't know what it is called.
  24. Some member of this forum told that both models have identical electronical parts inside, only the actual pedals are/look/feel different. I have the Combat ones myself. I think they look more cool. Cannot say if they are totally worth the price tag compared with the cheaper ones. At least many forum members are happy with their Saitek pedals, no matter which version they have.
