  1. Specs are like this: Motherboard: EX 58-UD3R RAM: 6GB triple channel; Processor: core i7 720 @2700MHz; Video: ATI R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 5600MHz. Recently added DirectX 11 files, maybe that was a mistake?
  2. My old card was GF260 GTX but this one is better. Did not record FPS on that one but since then there were several DCS updates and as my PC felt there were different requirements with most of the updates. Game runs fine at altitude but in Ka-50, Mi-8 close to explosions FPS goes down to almost nothing, so i was wodering if there is a way to reduce explosion smoke particles wich i think could help.
  3. Hi, i got a weird problem: when i fly very low to the ground, FPS drops down very badly, like 2-3 FPS; also during explosions and from smoke, same thing. I just got a new 2gb ATI R9 270 videocard and i was wondering where is the problem. Other than that, game runs great, ust can't fly very low. Is there any way to reduce explosion particles and ground detail(clutter/bushes setting won't have any effect)? Thanks.
  4. Thank you!
  5. Hi, I recently started playing Mi-8 and, all is fine except that Stability Augmentation for Pitch and Roll button does not work. Even in cold start tutorial i cannot continue mission because I press the button and nothing happens, it does not light up and does not seem to receive the input, neither by pressing left mouse button or LWin+A. Can anyone please help?
  6. Yes Robin, that was my point, if you try a normal runway landing you can see the very shiny lights on the ground from far away, but the Kuz doesn't even have a position light so you can spot it from distance. You can follow the WP circle to guide yourself on the approach but you also need to take your eyes away from the HUD to keep the nose the good way, and i think this makes the night carrier landing irrealistically hard.
  7. Hi, Does anyone believe the lighting of the Kuznetsov is realistic on night landings? I really feel there is something wrong with night visibility in general, but the carrier runway seems way to poorly iluminated, therefore visible at night. Dark is dark but still, there is residual light even at night due to the stars and light refraction in the atmosphere am i right? So maybe some more realism in this way would be ok i think. Cheers!
  8. yes, i have FC3, but i see the same issue there.
  9. Hello, I have a special question: Is there a way to acces the formulas of the missiles' trajectory in order to customise it for different approaches of realism? The idea is to modify missiles' lead pursuit course from going into the ground in severel scenarios, for example: missiles going into ground when fired at a very close target wich dives into ground from low altitude slow speed to dodge it; missiles fired from medium to high altitude lead into ground in an attempt to lead course into the target wich dives in a such way to lead the missile into the ground(as many players like to do). It is well known that both A2A and SAM missile act in this way. I have a feeling that Lock On is only one small step from being the perfect combat sim... Airmage
  10. geez man, thanks! i did not see that new switch lol
  11. Hello, by some reason i cannot employ any weapons in BS2 after ramp start, because there is no power to the pylons when i turn batteries on, neither after AC generators or master arm. Has anyone encounter this problem?
  12. SU-35 for DCS Hi, personally i'd rather have a 4th generation Flanker to fly in DCS. It would integrate much better in the existing environement rather than a stealth fighter, keeping the balance. Besides, the SU-35 is a terrific multirole, and most important is a flanker with R77 ARH missile. Lets hope it happens! Airmage
