Capt Zeen, I noticed you put a new zipfile for download in your site (export.lua restructered). It has 1 folder (Helios, with 2 files - HeliosCore.lua and HeliosExport.lua), and 1 file (export.lua). I don´t know where to insert the files inside the Helios folder, and noticed the new export.lua is too small (4 lines). How to arrange this new set of files, and what "old files" I have to replace/discard?

When I turn my view to LSO view (LAlt F9), the view is zoomed in (everything is too big and close). I tried to press the buttons associated to zoom (/ and *) and the mouse wheel, but it didn´t work. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong?

Superb job! Really appreciated that, and thank you for sharing this mod with us. However I am having a little problem with the views: they are way too zoomed in! In your videos the view is in very good scale, but when I set one of your views (I use JSGME for each one), everything is too big and too close! To top this off, head movements with TrackIr turn the experience very difficult. But at least I can turn TrackIr off, and solve this problem. Can you explain me how to reduce the zoom of the views?

After an Air-to-Air practice session, I turned Master Arm and A/A button off (returned to navigation mode), and headed for the Tanker. When I got close to the tanker, automatically I got a lock on the tanker, and got the square over him on my HUD. Pressed the Radar Attack Page, and undesignated the tanker. 5 secs later, I got the lock again, without any command from me. Turned off the Radar, and it kept locked. I don´t want to have any plane locked automatically. I want to designate it manually, or thru one of the auto acquisition modes to get that. What am I doing wrong? How to return to BVR mode?

I would like to know how the trim buttons work, because I am not feeling their effectiveness during the flight! Do I need to keep it the pressed until I get the desired correction, or have to press the button repeated times to get the effect?

I put some reference documents (checklists, maps), in JPEG format, in ...Users/Name/Saved Games/DCS.openbeta/kneeboard/FA-18C_hornet folder. I can see them when I access the kneeboard (key L). But after going to other docs (next key), there is a point I start see documents I didn´t put in the folder I mentioned. May be there is another folder, in another place, as source to this kneeboard also. I would like to remove these docs. Someone knows WHERE is located this other folder?

Still no answers! My kneeboard is not displayed on the right spot (left pilot´s leg), or at least where it is supposed to be! I got this HUGE map displayed on my right side of the screen (check the screenshot!), occupying almost half of my display! Is this a bug for F-18, or I am doing something wrong?

Color Map Yep! It is there! Thx in advance, but I have another question: my HSI map is too bright (maybe some bug to be fixed later), and I barely see the symbols and text. Is there any way to turn it black and green, lihe the others DDI´s?

Where (on which page) I can see my INS alignment is done? I remember on A-10C we received an Ok, allowing us to change from Ground to NAV (~7 to 8 minutes after start). I know FA-18C alignment is much more faster than A-10C, but we need a go to change to NAV.

Eu também sou brasileiro, moro em Natal (tem uma base aérea aqui cheia de Tucanos), e tenho muita experiência com o A-10C (mais de 600 horas logadas). Fiz parte de alguns esquadrões virtuais por mais de 2 anos (1st VFW, depois Virtual Tactical Fighter Group), mas acabei voando tanto o A-10C que dei um tempo. Estou aprendendo agora a voar o BMS F-16 (um novo desafio), mas sem dúvidas, testar um avião brasileiro seria a glória! I´m also brazilian, live in Natal (there is an airbase here, full of Tucanos!), and a lot of experience on A-10C (more than 600 logged hours). I was a member of some virtual squadrons for more than 2 years (1st VFW, then Virtual Tactical Fighter Group), but got tired of flying A-10. Now I´m learning BMS F-16 (a new challenge), but undoubtely, to test a brazilian plane would be wonderful!

You don´t put in any DCS Folder! All the profiles are in C:/Users/User/My Documents/Vac/Profiles! So you just open your VAC builder, and import your profile to this folder. When you want to use it , open Vac System, and voilá!

My TARS is working, but I had to use some backup files (from old TARS version) to achieve that. The main differences are related to 2 files Export.lua and TARSExport.lua. Basically the difference inside the file is related to the lines that use lfs.writedir. eg: dofile (lfs.writedir().."TARS\\tarsexporter.luac") (new file) dofile(".\\TARS\\tarsexporter.luac") (old file) For some reason this lfs.writedir() doesn´t make my TARS work, so I´m using the old version for the two files (only dofile). But it sucks, because everytime I have to do something in the control panel, I have to restore these 2 old files from the backup folder. Can you explain what this command do, and why it is not working for me? Besides, in my Control Panel, I see "game not found" ( in green!) by the side of the little picture of the A-10, but it´s working. Is this normal?

I recentrly made a major change on my computer, replacing the CPU, MB and HD (I didn´t format HD, just "ghosted" it in the new one). When I tried to access the game, I got the following message: "The Activation Key is not valid any more due to significant changes of the computer hardware configuration. Press "Retry" to reactivate the application. If the error recurs, press "Error report" and send the report to product technical support." Pressed retry at least 3 times, having a new activation window as result, so the game launched, but I couldn´t go to the cockpit, just having an outside view from the plane. Uninstalled the game and modules (I use Revo Unistaller to clean everything), downloaded the latest versions of them , installed again, and got the same result!. Uninstalled it again, installed jus DCS World, and installed the modules from the Module Manager. Same results!. Tried so many installation variations with the same results for ALL the modules.I don´t know if I reached a number of activation attempts, and the serials are no more valid, but I can see the serial in the module manager (and in my site account) . I don´t know if I had to format the HD, but this shouldn´t be necessary because I have another games running well after I replaced the parts. I would like to know if someone had this same problem and what is the solution. PS: Please do not come up with a solution like: "Format your HD". It is not an option right now, but if everything fails, I´ll try this one (as last resort)

I can´t access the offline method during the installation. It keeps me showing the same message after I press the "offline" link in the activation window.

Of course when I pressed Error report, it generated a 19,5MB file that I couldn´t send to the technical report. What the hell is happening to DCS? I bought 4 modules (A-10, Ca, Uh-1 and P-51) and can´t install any of them. Should I format my HD? That would be very frustrating! I installed and reinstalled this software a thousand times, with the same results! Updated DCS WORLD to the latest version, installed the a-10C module from the module manager, and still have the same message. What am I doing wrong?

Anyone has any video or written instructions on how to disassemble the throttle base? I just need to take out the circuit board that controls the 3 switches (EAC, RDR and AUTOPILOT MODES) so I can replace my EAC switch (it´s broken). I don´t need to go further, this stage is enough for what I intend to do. I unscrewed the only screw in the board, but there´s something more holding the board to the base. Anyone knows how to pull out this board?
