  1. It's a compromise we thought it would add more interest in the campaign as both sides will have more A-G capabilities that way. There were also many aircraft similar to the WW2 ones back then so we can "simulate" it somehow. http://www.militaryfactory.com/aircraft/korean-war-north-korean-aircraft.asp It's the second attempt after "Case Blue" so we will see how it goes. Greg
  2. Thanks to Cisco, who got in touch with us and worked fast, we set up the new DCS Server which will host our upcoming events. The Server is provided by Blix Solutions who were really generous and provided us with a decent dedicated server to host DCS events. http://www.blix.com As Round 9 is still running with the previous setup, the new server is up and running a test version of the Korean War version of Blue Flag. Feel free to join and fly with F-86F, MiG-15, P-51D, FW-190, BF-109 (WW2 German aircraft simulate Northe Korean Warplanes). SOP will be available asap. Once Round 9 will end, we shall move on testing Blue Flag in the new server. Server name: Buddyspike - BLIX SOLUTIONS (http://www.blix.com) Online map (KOREAN WAR): http://gadget.buddyspike.net:8080/
  3. In the current setup it's difficult to fit cause of the number of units. However we have some other concepts in mind which got unfortunately delayed but shall be available in the future. Greg
  4. Tried that but they were exploding when placed near the FARPs. Didn't have time to find an alternative though. There should be a better way. Adding it to the "to do" list ;) Greg
  5. It's possible to use them with other countries also. These is a workaround which we didn't use until now. One way is to do it through the server by adding countries in the skins lua. Clients will see the correct ones even if they have the default files. There is also another way which I need to test first before posting. Greg
  6. Thanks! We will check out the skins after we will find a permanent solution for the user timeouts which is the highest priority for now. A new round will follow once we fix it. Greg
  7. Thanks a lot! We are trying also to improve things from our part by optimizing the way some scripts work. Let's hope we'll get better results soon.
  8. Don't know of an option like that currently. Greg
  9. I wonder why you keep posting only negative comments but you are still here posting all the time :music_whistling: The round started one week ago, with players fighting each day. We try to resolve the issue that a number of players face (connection timeout). Since Thursday we have a progress there with less connection timeouts. The issue is still there though. As mentioned before, registration is optional and you can register in our website (www.buddyspike.net). The reason is to get access to the teams forums. There anyone of the teams can post about strategy etc. Otherwise you can just jump right into the server and write "red" or "blue" before selecting a slot. After that you will be "registered" to that specific side for the round. Greg
  10. First of all grab a cold beer:beer: What 3rd party? What data? Please pass and have fun with DCS. If you are the one banned from our server please try and fix your issues and we can check it again. Greg
  11. Just to make it clear, like in the past we first try to ensure a player won't cause stability issues and then search for cheats etc. In that case we banned the player (it was one player used 2 different callsigns), cause we had reports and checked through the week about weird behaviour which cheating or not is not ok for the server. Greg
  12. Hello Cisco. Thanks a ton for the offer. Buddyspike user in this forum is a player in the server but not member of the Buddyspike Team. We will contact you shortly. Thanks again! *Buddyspike members are Xcom, Greg, Crash, Ciribob
  13. Running events since 2013 on the same server, plus 9 rounds of blue flag , including case blue, without connection issues and normal pings (please don't mess disconnects with lag issues) . Having disconnects for many pilots for five days. Conclusion : change the server machine and location  Greg
  14. Hey, thanks for that but we try some other solutions first. We didn't have any issue before, so please give us some time. *You have "buddyspike" as username and this will confuse many :music_whistling: Greg
  15. Server is up again. Sorry for that. Greg
  16. The best way to ragequit ever
  17. Still checking if we can do anything from our part. Greg
  18. Unfortunate its not due to a feature that can be edited or removed. It's by the numbers of players trying to connect constantly in the background. Even if we reduce the limit of players, the result is the same as it will be filled quicker and people will try to connect in the background. Problems occur when server gets full and many left outside. It happens during campaign start day and pick hours. Greg
  19. It's sad that it didn't work for you yet. Will check if there is anything else to look at as there are no changes in the internet connection of the server or so. Please try one more thing if possible. Lower your graphics (remove HDR etc) and try to see if that improves it. There were some issues connected with fps. Greg
  20. Round 9 started! Good luck to all and have fun  Greg
  21. Welcome and have fun
  22. Round 9 thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2921518#post2921518 We made many changes in the server that may help in the disconnect issues. If not it may help in general performance at least. Please report if the problems are still there. Greg
  23. Don't own the Gazelle module to check, but it should be ok now. Did also many changes that may help the disconnects that some people reported. Greg
