Yes happened also to a 373vFS member with a low ping so the problem must be somewhere else. It's weird that it happens to some people. Still looking at it. Thanks for the feedback. Greg

Hey, you can check here: http://buddyspike.net/news/m/34326321/article/3990971/page/1 The new round thread will open soon as we aim to start the round officially tomorrow. The SOP will update later. Greg

Should be ok tonight. Please let us know if you face the same issues. Greg
-
Hey guys, Yes we check if it's a connection issue or a setting in the server. Is it possible that you that faced connection issues had Simple Radio also on? The takeoffs/landings etc messages will be removed. They just left there from our previous squadron sessions and forgot to change. Will wait for a server restart. Greg

I replied to the other thread also. Raging can't help any progress. We thought of a special idea concept through a 3d printer but didn't work out till today cause we had limited access to it. Still trying and if it won't work will just send over the usual prizes we sent in the past. Greg

Screenshot & Video contest - Operation "Blue Flag" Round 6 & 7
gregzagk replied to gregzagk's topic in Screenshots and Videos
Relax mate. No news doesn't mean always forgetting. Companies fail to deliver paid products and you rage for two free screenshots? The contest started during the summer and we decided to provide some special gifts rather than the keyrings or something similar like we did before. The idea was based on a 3d printer we own. That didn't work out till today cause our access got limited. If we won't make it we will just send over the keyrings that we have. A simple question instead of raging for something that you didn't pay for would be better. Greg -
Server is up :D Official starting date and changelog of Round 9 will be available asap. The other concept we were trying lately will still need some work so we move on with Blue Flag as it was before. Greg
-
Congratulations 104th! And to all the participants. Thanks again to all who organized the event. We are looking forward to the next ones! Greg
-
Thanks for the videos! Congratulations to TAW Team 2 and to all the winners of the Weekend's matches. We had a great time and looking forward for the next events. Good luck to the teams that will fight in the next 2 matches. Greg

Ah no worries. Anyone can do what he wants. Futile is to do the same things as the community has to progress and not to stick to the same concepts without imagination. Check again what I wrote cause I think I mentioned that "it won't help the community" and that "we would not like to see that happening". If someone feels its worth to do the same exact things he can go for it. The sure thing is that I can't keep the setup for myself anymore. The last time I couldn't enter the server cause it was full :D Greg

373vFS vs TAW 2 match will be on Saturday at 18:30 zulu. Greg

Yes the wheel is already out there (Mist, Ciribob's, Xcom's scripts/ statistics etc etc). Building a new car instead of the same, using the same wheels is ok. Everyone can do their own things. Copying or slightly changing Blue Flag's concept, which is a combination of things (ways of organizing the rounds, ways of registrations, scripts, online map etc) won't help the community IMO and is not what we would like to see happening. There are many other options out there that would benefit the community instead of sticking in the same platform. Finally having breaks between the events instead of running them all the time, especially for 24/7 events, can help many people keep their interest in them. Greg
-
It would be better if others host new concepts than the same as Blue Flag's. Even if there are with different eras or slightly different. Definitely better for us and for the community of course. Greg
-
373vFS is available all days at around 18:30 -19:00 zulu except Thursday (22/09). If TAW Team 2 is available also we would like to fly before the weekend. Greg
-
We have some squadron fun after all this time. Not testing much. When we will be ready we will host new rounds no worries. Greg
-
Thanks to the 36th for the match and of course the ones that organize the event. We will contact TAW no2 team to arrange the second match during the week if possible. Otherwise we will fly on the weekend. Greg
-
We are ok :) See you there at 19:00 zulu. Greg
